A/U: Maria comes to the von Trapp villa much earlier than in the movie though she finds a similar situation-a grieving retired naval captain who is neglecting his seven children. As in the movie, she helps them all find each other again but there is still something else the Captain is hiding, and it has the potential to endanger them all.

Maria Rainier is a sensible girl. The practical type, who's learned to rely on no one except herself. But just when her carefully constructed life begins to fall apart, she crosses paths with a mysterious sea captain, and things start to change in unexpected ways. "One day you finally knew what you had to do ... and there was a new voice, which you slowly recognized as your own."

Maria wants to be intimate with Georg, Georg wants to be intimate with Maria. Will they ever cross that final boundary or will the past continue to haunt them? Rated M

Another way things could have played out that fateful night

In late WWI in the naval port of Pola, The Lonely Goatherd is a seedy tavern run by the elegant Baroness. Here, Maria meets the mysterious and intriguing Captain von Trapp. An AU story that flips the original TSOM on its head. Bits of drama mixed in with some snarky humour. A little different, but please give it a chance. Please R&R!

"And why do you stare at me that way?" "I can't help but think, sir—" "Yes?" "We've met before." The Captain was no stranger, Maria discovered some time after being sent to the von Trapp household as a teacher and governess for the summer. No, she and the Captain were not strangers at all. (AU, main body of the story begins in 1933.)

When Pearl Harbor is attwcked, the family must navigate some very strong, yet differing emotions.

A series of one-shots set in the Moments of Truth universe. Most will likely occur between the end of Moments of Truth and the Anschluss (which I already plan to write as a sequel). It will help greatly if you read Moments of Truth before them though you can probably understand some of them without it. There will be a little bit of everything- family, action, romance, etc.

On the tenth anniversary of her death, Georg writes his first wife a letter.

"Do you know when I first started loving you?" How could she? It was a ridiculous question. He hadn't realised himself. It had taken him by surprise, impacted him like little else. Looking back, even now, it was impossible to understand. Her appearance had been one of those moments. Their moment. A Black Swan moment.

Sequel to "What Came Before" Maria and Georg have moved on from the incident but will it be happy sailing from there? Buckle up for an angsty but fluffy story as Maria and Georg navigate their relationship and family life.

On the night of the party, Maria had fled, but never returned and so none of the von Trapps ever knew what had happened to her. Now 10 years later, Georg runs into Maria by chance...

Modern AU. A retired Navy captain, begrudgingly running his family's tattoo parlour and a young florist working in her parents' flower shop cross paths one day…

A mischievous young governess arrives at the von Trapp household determined to teach the over-bearing Captain a little humility. AU.

Georg reflects on some of the moments he has shared with Maria while climbing/standing on stairs! (Because, you know, doors in one story, stairs in another!). Set on his wedding day, Georg's thoughts go catapulting back to key moments in his relationship with his wife-to-be.
