Bella felt odd she couldn't help but feel everything was wrong with marrying edward she was contemplating what to do me a soft knock was heard on her bedroom window where a four sets of eyes were watching her a pair of molten gold and three pairs of red and what's this about a new life chance to make things right? A/N: hey guy im sorry this took so long i had some personal issues that were extremely hard to deal with and i wasn't mentally able to cope with them but now that im better im going to try and update this more often I know its short, but I'll try and improve.
Jared's Pov.
I couldn't help but smiling as I heard the small heart to heart between Billy and Bella as I stood next to Bella's truck Sam and Paul were standing next to me, I didn't have to look to know Paul had a smirk while Sam also had a smile on his face as Bella came out of the house looking around till, she spotted us and came over biting her lip. I could feel her nerves as she got closer glancing in between us. I looked at Sam.
"So now that we are all here, are we heading to Emily's and your place boss?" I questioned Sam resisting the urge of putting my arm around my imprint as she stood next to me.
Sam looked at me and nodded "you can drive Bella there while me and Paul run a quick circuit around our territory and forks knowing what we know now we may have to pick up our patrol schedule until the others join the pack" he stated before he looked to Bella "is that ok with you?"
she nodded with a smile I missed Emily a lot then she rubbed the back of her neck, "I might have gotten nervous and brought peace offerings "I have some brownies and a few types of cookies as well as a few casseroles in the truck."
We looked at her stunned and Paul blurted out "well damn swan why didn't you say that in the first place we could have been there by now." making her laugh nervously.
"I was worried you guys might turn me away, that you would hate me and think I was crazy." she muttered looking at the ground.
I couldn't help myself, so I lightly grabbed Bella's hand and pulled her into a hug and I felt her stiffen as the guys watched us.
Bella's Pov.
I stiffened as Jared hugged me gently his head resting on top of mine "we won't ever hate you bell and you're not crazy you never were those Vampires manipulated you from the beginning they targeted you but this time we won't let it happen your part of the pack and I'm sure, I'm not the only one here who is ready to turn them into firewood." he murmured against my hair.
I felt myself relaxing in his arms when Sam spoke up "He's right Bella You are pack, our family we won't let them cause you that pain again."
I looked at him and Paul from my spot in Jared's arms. Sam had concern written all over his face, while Paul looked angry, but I could feel that it wasn't directed at me. He started to growl before he took off for the woods Phasing into his silver wolf once he was far enough away making me feel slightly bad.
"Don't worry Bella he's not upset with you Paul doesn't like manipulative people whether they are vampires or not I'm sure he will explain why at some point" Jared said as he pulled away from me slightly to open my trucks door for me while Sam Nodded in agreement "we'll see you two in a bit" he told us before he took off for the woods himself.
I looked at Jared and He just gave me a soft smile as I got into the truck and he carefully shut the door before climbing in himself on the driver's side He looked in between us and shook his head "Bell when you said you made peace offerings I figured it was a few dishes and a few plates of baked goods this is like a display case at a bakery then again I just remembered you Already know how much we eat."
I flushed and nodded the green container is yours." I mumbled slightly embarrassed.
He shot me a smiled and nodded "I'll keep that in here then" he told me as he started driving.
it was maybe a ten-minute drive and were going back and forth answering each other's questions when we pulled in front of Sam and Emily's cabin I couldn't help but smile I couldn't wait to see Emily again I could smell her Blueberry Muffins which made me think about the first time I met her. i was slightly lost in the memory when Jared opened the door for me and I climbed out and started handing him the four casseroles and I grabbed the blue and red Cookie containers and my brownie pan before I followed him taking care to not trip over my feet as I walked up the porch steps behind him Jared let out a loud call to alert Emily that they were coming in and he opened the door with ease and lead the way inside the house looked just as it did before and that made me smile I always did feel like this house was another home to me even though Edward and Alice did their best to keep me away.
I heard Emily call out her welcome as she rounded the corner. "Oh, who's this?" she questioned.
Jared Smiled "This is Bella Swan" he introduced me Since even though I knew her, she didn't technically know me in this timeline just yet.
"Ah the vampire Girl" she commented, And I flushed "not exactly by choice but I was but I'd rather stick with the wolves." She gave me a bright smile, "well in that case, come on in and make yourself at home." she told me Before she noticed the food I brought along "Oh what's this?" She asked as she took note of the heating instructions on the foil lids of the casseroles, I smiled sheepishly "Um technically they are peace offerings I know the boys can eat a lot" her eyebrows raised to her hairline as she looked at Jared who was munching on a brownie.
"Don't worry Em We'll explain when Sam and Paul get here and you're definitely going to want to sit for it."
She Nodded "Fine but you boys are doing the dishes after we eat." She told him before looking at me smiling.
"Why Don't we get these in the oven Bella?"
I gave Her my own smile "sounds great Emily oh and before I forget the Red container is for you and Sam the blue one is specifically for Paul." I told her as I set them on her counter while Jared sat in his usual seat at the table.
He had a grin on his face as I worked with Emily Giving her the recipes to the few casseroles I brought as she scribbled them down before we placed them in the oven, I looked at Jared "Don't eat all the brownies I can make you more but those were for everyone." I told him shooting him a pointed look as he reached for a sixth one. 10 minutes later the oven timer went off and We heard Sam and Paul outside doing the usual call before they came in. Sam heading straight for Emily kissing her scarred cheek "Just in time guys the food is done." She told them as I pulled the casseroles out of the oven. "Damn Swan that Actually smells good" Paul commented looking over my shoulder making me jump slightly I shook my head "I had to do a lot of the cooking when I lived with my mom or we would be stuck with takeout she can't cook to save her life" I explained to them and they gave me looks that varied from confusion to concern but I shook my head "another time we owe Emily an explanation and I'm sure you boys are starving." I told them before I put the last casserole in the center of the table on a potholder before sitting next to Jared.
