"Wait, so you know that Honey could gut you like a fish in only a few seconds, yet you want to go to her obvious trap?" Midnight asked. Bluey nodded "You saw it too, that was Bingo" Midnight sighed while her colors kept switching between midnight blue and royal purple "What I saw was a girl who is your polar opposite" Bluey tilted her head "What do you mean by that?" Midnight chuckled "You don't like blood, the sight of it on you makes you feel sick and reminds you of the animals you killed in the desert. That's where I come in for the most part since you do not want to deal with the red stuff. I do not know what that was with Honey, but it seems like blood has the opposite effect on her, she seemed…happy…like she was being rewarded and getting paid in blood. Not to mention she seemed more dangerous once she tasted her own blood. Such a creep" Bluey looked at her "You don't really think that Honey still has anything against me after all these years do you?" Midnight shook her head "Well normally I would say no but there is a pattern, Lila threw you in the desert after being angry for years, Chucky tried to kill you after being angry for years, and that Gruber guy said he hated Jack over something that Jack had no control over…for years, honestly they should just be called The Grudge Squad" Bluey let out another sigh "Hey look, I don't know how dangerous Honey is, but if you really have to fight, I am here with you, even if I don't think it's such a good idea" Midnight said placing her hand on Bluey's shoulder. "Thanks, I guess that makes me feel a little better" Midnight smiled "I just hope that in the end you won't get angry, because I will-" Midnight smirked and vanished. Bluey was confused by the odd sentence but it didn't matter. Mackenzie was gently shaking her awake.

"Bluey…Bluey?" Mackenzie said, trying to wake her up. Bluey yawned and stretched then looked over at Mackenzie "Hey…how are you feeling?" he asked. "Pissed" she responded. "Yeah, I don't blame you" he said with a nod. "Where's Missy?" Bluey asked "Oh, she went to throw up after seeing…that" He said referring to the fact that Honey had Bingo's corpse. "Honestly, how could someone do something that twisted?" "Kenzie" Bluey said "Yeah?" he asked "If my parents are unaware of what we just saw, don't tell them. They don't need to get involved in this" she said sternly. Mackenzie nodded "In that case, I feel like you should do something special for them" he said. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I'll be honest here, Honey seems highly skilled as a huntress, you saw what she did to that bird and that did not even take her three minutes. I feel like if we are forced to confront her, there is a good chance she will try to kill us" Bluey raised an eyebrow "What do you mean by us, she has nothing against you" Mackenzie smiled "You think I would let her get to you without trying my very best to stop her, if she kills you she would have to kill me first!" Bluey hugged him "I know what you are thinking Bluey, I am just as scared as you" he said as he hugged her back. "I will do whatever I can to keep you safe, I promise you that much" Bluey nodded. Missy walked over to the two "Um…I was told to inform you that you have twenty-four hours to make your decision" she sighed "Once again, I am so sorry that any of this happened" Bluey looked at her "Don't worry, it isn't your fault Missy" Bluey said with a smile.

Bluey slowly walked over to her parents home, she would see her uncles, and her aunts all gathered together with her cousins and her parents. "Hey! There's Bluey!" Muffin alerted the others of Bluey's presence. "Hey love!" Chilli said with a smile "Mind joining me in the kitchen for a few?" She asked. Bluey nodded "Sure thing mum" Bluey was happy to see everyone, but the fact that this could be the last time that she would ever see her family made her sad deep inside. She loved everyone and she could not tell them that she was going to face someone who most likely wanted her dead, they would just not let her leave if they knew. Bluey began to follow her mother into their kitchen but stopped for a second "Um, none of you would have happened to have seen a show about a huntress last night would you? Bluey quickly asked. After everyone had denied seeing Honey's show, Bluey smiled, she knew that they were not involved in whatever Honey and the mysterious dog had planned. She continued to follow Chilli "Think this is missing anything?" Chilli asked and handed her a brownie. Bluey bit into it then smiled "It's good and all but…whoever made these used a bit too much sugar" Chilli then gave Bandit a smug smile. "Oh biscuits…" Bandit said under his breath. "Dad made these?" Bluey asked. Chilli nodded "He did, and I told him to hold back on the sugar" Bluey giggled then looked at her parents "Do you mind if I made something?" Bluey asked "What do you want to make?" Bandit said. "It's a secret!" Bluey responded. Chilli nodded "Sure, just call me if you need help with anything!" she said as her and Bandit left the kitchen.

It would take an hour or so but afterwards, Bluey would be finished with what she was making. Everyone was outside in the Heeler backyard at a table that Bandit and Rad had set up for everyone. Bluey then placed a plate in the middle with everyone waiting to see what she had. Soon she unveiled a tasty looking plate of pavlova in front of everyone. "I forgot to ask, why is everyone here, what's the occasion?" Bluey asked. Bandit smiled "It's your parents' wedding anniversary ya ding dong!" Bluey laughed nervously "Oh yeah" Socks looked at Bluey "Also, isn't your birthday next week?" Bluey nodded "It is, I forgot all about that as well" The family would eat a few of the usual dishes, Bluey was sure to get salad "They mentioned the salad, Bingo" Bluey felt saddened upon remembering what she saw Honey holding on her show "Would Honey really go that far? Can she actually be that evil?" Bluey tried to shake it off, for now at least. She would enjoy seeing her family chatting with each other and catching up on things, she was really happy to see her mother talking with her aunt. She remembered how the two of them had a strained relationship due to Brandy's infertility. Muffin and Socks were getting along better than usual as well, the only one there who did not have their sister was Bluey. Soon everyone had moved on to desserts, nobody ate Bandit's extremely sweet brownies but everyone did have some of Bluey's pavlova, which they all thought was perfect. Bluey grabbed some and ate it, then she sniffled "Bluey? Are you okay?" Brandy asked her niece. "I-I used too much sugar on this part…" The family laughed. They were not aware of Bluey's actual reason being that she was afraid that this would be the last time that any of them would see her alive, including her own parents. "Why isn't Mackenzie with you? Did you two fight again?" Bandit asked. "Is it because of the thing you wanted to tell him?" Chilli asked after him. Bluey shook her head "Oh no, he had something to take care of with a friend, he should be done in a few minutes." She told them.

After a few minutes, Bluey was washing the dishes in the kitchen when she was joined by her aunts. "Bluey, are you okay?" Trixie asked. "What do you mean?" she said. "You seemed like something was bothering you" Brandy said. "You can tell?" Bluey asked. "Well, last time we checked, too much sugar isn't a reason to cry" Frisky answered. "Is everything really okay with you and Mackenzie?" Brandy asked, remembering how Bluey had nearly killed him before. "It's not Mackenzie Aunt Brandy" "What is it then love?" Frisky asked. Bluey sighed "It's times like these when I really miss Bingo, and I guess I felt a little sad seeing mum and Aunt Brandy, and Muffin and Socks" Trixie nodded "I can understand, we all miss Bingo sweetheart" Bluey nodded. "I uh, I have something to do later today and I might not be back to see everyone off" Bluey said. "We'll be okay, just let us know when you're leaving" Frisky said. Bluey smiled and a few minutes later she would join everyone back outside. "I know this is abit suddent but I have to run some errands and I might not be back later today so I just wanted to say, it was good to see everyone. And I love you all so much" Bluey said with a smile. "We love you too kiddo!" Rad said. "We'll see you later Bluey" Stripe said before getting tackled by Muffin. Bluey laughed then she would walk back out to Mackenzie's house.

Mackenzie sat with Missy when Bluey walked in "You ready to go?" Bluey shook her head "No, but it's gotta be done" Mackenzie nodded "Missy, you can call your boss now" he told her. Missy sighed and pulled out her phone "You two must really love your friends to do this" Bluey nodded "They are being held hostage by someone we don't know, and Honey who's being insane" Bluey said, a little annoyed. Soon they all heard a familiar voice on the phone "Missy, how are things going?" Missy sighed "Everything is going just as you planned" "Good, very good" he said. "Will you please leave my family alone now? I did what you wanted" she said "Not until you bring Bluey and Mackenzie to me, are they ready?" Missy nodded "Yes, we just need transportation to be taken to the studio" "Very well, just stay where you are" he said before hanging up "Studio?" Mackenzie asked. Missy modded "Where her show was filmed last night? That's where everyone is, at a television studio"

The three waited for something to arrive, Mackenzie would hold Bluey's hand to comfort her, which she would greatly appreciate. It would take around an hour before a truck slowly approached the three. "To think, these two are the ones that have cost us a few good dogs" the driver said. "Just shut up and drive" Missy said, a bit annoyed. "Whatever you say Rihanna" the driver said while chuckling. The driver would push a few buttons in front of him before he began driving. Mackenzie would continue to hold Bluey's hand and Missy would sigh "I hope wee can all make it out of this okay" Bluey gave her a soft smile "I'm sure your family will be fine" Missy smiled at Bluey "Thanks Bluey, I really appreciate it"

Soon, an odd smell filled the back of the truck where they sat, and Bluey would begin to feel dizzy. However, it was not just her, Missy and Mackenzie would be dizzy as well. Soon everything started feeling odd "Th-this is…sleeping gas!" Missy yelled. They would try to cover their noses, but it would be pointless, not much longer the three dogs would start to fall unconscious "B…Bluey…not again…" Mackenzie said as he did his best to hold his grip on Bluey's hand, it would not matter however and before he knew it, he would be unconscious just like the other two girls with him.

"Hey Mum? Dad?" Mackenzie asked his parents "Yes sweetie, what is it?" his mother replied "How are babies made?" he asked. His parents looked at each other before laughing awkwardly. "Well, why do you want to know?" his father asked. "I was thinking that maybe you two could give me a little brother or sister one day" His father gave his mother an odd look "You hear that? He wants a sibling, you know we should-" His mother put her finger to his father's lips "I do not want to go through labor again" she looked at Mackenzie "Well sweetheart, I don't know if mum and dad can have another" Mackenzie looked at her confused "Why not?" his mother looked at him a bit nervous, not wanting to explain the pain she went through when she had him "Well…mum and dad do not have the magic anymore" "Magic?" he asked. His mother shook her head "That's right, babies get into the mom when the parents have magic, right?" She looked at her husband expectantly. "Oh yes, some parents have lots and some parents like us only have a little…why do you want a brother or sister anyway?" he asked. Mackenzie smiled "I want somebody I can protect!" he said proudly. His dad laughed and petted him "Well there are other ways you can do that" "Really? How?" he asked. "You can protect someone you love" his father responded Mackenzie smiled "I can protect you and mum!" his mother laughed and picked him up, pulling him into a hug "You would be so good at it, I just know you would!" "You could also get a girlfriend and protect her the best way that you can!" his dad said. His mother gave him a side glance "You know he is too young for that conversation, he is only seven!" His dad chuckled "Oh he is not too young, I bet if he tried he would have the ladies all over him" his mother sighed. "Is it nice having a girlfriend?" he asked. "Yeah son, it is really nice! Then if you and her love each other enough, she would become your wife!" he dad said. "My wife?" he asked. "Yeah! Your wife is the onle lady you want to spend the rest of your life with, and once you find her you will never want to be with another lady again" he looked to Mackenzie's mum "Because she's one of the most precious dogs to you" his mother blushed and smiled at her husband "And to your wife, you will be one of the most important dogs to her, and maybe one day the two of you will have your own little pups together" Mackenzie smiled "You mean, you get magic once you get married?" both of his parents nodded "Then you use it when you to have kids" his dad said. "You know, if you ever give us grandkids, I would love to meet them" his mum said with a smile "But after you are all grown and married"

Mackenzie visibly aged in his dream in just a matter of seconds "But…that will never happen now" he said in a saddened voice. "Why not? You gay?" his dad asked. Mackenzie's eyes widened "What? No!" he responded. Mackenzie's mum gently smacked his dad "Don't worry about what he is, we will love him either way" his dad laughed and nodded "You are right, so what's gotten you so upset anyway?" Mackenzie sighed "I could not save either of you, and mum ended u saving me from getting stabbed, now both of you are gone" his parents looked at each other before looking at him "Perhaps, we gave you the wrong idea all those years ago" his dad said. "What do you mean?" he asked. "Mackenzie…we are your parents, it is us who should always be protecting you, no matter how old you get" his mum said. "Even still I-" "That's enough of that" his dad said interrupting him "You could not have known about what was going of happen" he smiled and put a hand on his son's shoulder. "Dad…" he said. "I know it's hard dear, but you shouldn't blame yourself" his mum said. "But I do! You had no business with Gruber! But because of me…he-" Mackenzie began to sob before he was hugged by both of his parents. "Listen mate, you've gone through a lot and we know it's been very hard but you have to keep your head up" his dad said. "How do I do that?" he said. "You do your best to protect what matters to you the most, in whatever way you can" his mother responded. "You know, for some kind of…dream you two almost seem real" Mackenzie said. "Dream?" his mum asked. Mackenzie nodded "I remembered when I got older here that I'm not awake" His dad had a huge grin on his face "I know this seems a bit odd…but we are really here" Mackenzie looked at hid dad confused "What do you mean?" both of his parents laughed "It may seem odd, but we really are here, to try and cheer you on" Mackenzie's eyes widened as he realized something about them was not consistent with any dreams he ever had, then he hugged them both tightly. "Mum…dad…I love you both so much" he said. "We love you too, always and forever" his mum said. "When you wake up there's one thing you need to remember" she said. "What's that?" he asked "We never regretted for a second, that you were our son" she said while she wiped his tears away. A pleasant dream for him, but the other would have a much more odd dream that would not involve the one that she lost.

Bluey was walking around in a familiar park, everything was eerily odd but she did not seem to mind it. She walked through the park until she entered a sandy area, this area was very hot and arid, akin to a desert. This greatly bothered her until she found an oasis, once she looked into the oasis she saw her reflection. Her reflection would emerge from the water and stand in front of her, it's colors would change revealing an upset looking Midnight "What's wrong Midnight?" "i told you, it's Midnight Royal now!" she yelled. Bluey rolled her eyes "Well, what is wrong? Why are you angry?" Midnight turned purple and walked over to Bluey "You are what's wrong" Bluey raised an eyebrow "Me? What did I do?" Midnight growled "What did you do? WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Bluey was more confused. "SIT!" she said with a snap of her fingers, a dark pulse emanate from her fingers once she snapped. A chair emerged behind Bluey and she was forced to sit in it by the pules's power. "You made my job…my purpose far more harder than it has to be Bluey!" Midnight said, her voice echoed all around the two even when she was talking calmly. Bluey groaned "What are you talking about?" Midnight groaned and levitated over to Bluey "I am supposed to keep you safe from the things that would harm you correct?" Bluey nodded "That's what you've said before" Midnight sighed "So then why do you think it's a good idea to go straight to Honey, the one dog who probably hates you more than anyone else and is now a skilled huntress?!" Bluey looked a bit frightened "Because she…has my friends, and because-" "Because she has that…corpse? Let me tell you something Bluey, Bingo is dead, long gone, no longer among the living, she's been gone for over a decade now!" Bluey felt weaker with each word Midnight used to describe Bingo being dead. "That's my sister…if Honey really dug up her body…then I need to put Bingo back to rest…" Midnight looked at Bluey, her eyes seemed darker "Lay her to rest…HER BODY IS NOT HER ANY LONGER! SHE'S BEEN RESTING FOR A VERY LONG TIME! DON'T HOLD ATTATCHMENT FOR A BODY! THAT THING IS NO LONGER YOUR SISTER" Bluey seemed angry that Midnight would refer to Bingo's corpse as simply a thing "How could you be a part of me? I would never say that about Bingo, corpse or not…that was still the body that I hugged…that is the head that I petted to show affection to…and I gave her kisses on her cheek at times…how dare you suggest that I just leave her in Honey's hands" an odd noise could be heard after Bluey said that, midnight seemed bothered by whatever that noise was "O-okay…I guess that was a bit too far…" "Too far?! You know what was too far?! You thinking you know what was best for me! You claim to be a part of my subconscious? You say you want to protect me? Then why bring me here? To a desert of all places? The place where I struggled for nine days just to make it home to my friends?!" Midnight returned to her blue colors "Well…I-" "You know what I also noticed? You were not very helpful when Mackenzie and I were dealing with Chucky! What were you doing? Trying to find a way to make me feel like shit? Again?" Midnight heard the sound again, but louder this time "L-look Bluey…I was wrong for the way I acted alright? And I'm sorry I brought you back here, I know nine days is a very long time…look, just let me help you" Bluey growled at her "I am the one in charge here…not you" Similar to what Midnight did earlier, Bluey would snap her fingers, a pulse would come from her hand, and she would be free from the chair. "I have had enough, enough of Honey being a petty bitch, enough of my friends getting kidnapped because of that petty bitch's anger, and most importantly I have had enough of you saying you are here to protect me, when the most you have done was cause me to kill animals, and I understand that it would help me and I admit, in the end it was worth it. But from now on, you will help me when I want your help. I will not be bullied by…myself" Midnight actually seemed frightened by Bluey at this point "But you can't handle Honey…she…she's scary…" Bluey laughed then snapped again, this time forcing Midnight to sit in a chair "Even if I die, it will be worth it for my friends, my family" Bluey began walking away "But what about the other dog?! You have no idea who he is!" Bluey shrugged "We will find out wehat to do when it comes to him" Midnight tried to distract Bluey "What about that, how do you think Mackenzie would react when he finds out? What if he rejects you?" Bluey sighed "If he did…I will tell him, if he leaves me, I won't allow you to kill him just for my sake" Bluey continued to run away. Midnight struggled to get out the chair, then sighed "Very well Bluey, I'll protect you from the things that hurt you when it really matters" she spoke in a robotic voice as any emotion seemed to leave her eyes, and a crack would form in her side "...When it really matters" she repeated as she looked at the crack. Bluey smiled as she won the argument against the imaginative overprotective version of her younger self. She would walk out the desert and continue to move in the direction she had came from, soon she was walking through the park again and would look around, everything was still devoid of any other life "These dreams are always so very weird, but I would have never guessed that I would feel so powerful in them" she said to herself. She blinked her eyes and the ground would rumble, soon a huge statue of Bingo would appear in th emiddle of the park, she looked very happy , and for Bluey, that was all that mattered "Nobody will tell me how to feel about my sister" she said as she would soon arrive at the crosswalk that led to the park, she could then feel herself waking up. "I will help everyone…"

Bluey would wake up and find herself in a air conditioned room "Hey look, I think she's finally starting to wake up" a female voice said. "Finally, now we can have a conversation" a male voice said. Bluey would try to stretch but for some reason she couldn't, she then opened her eyes and proceeded to look around the room. The room had silver colored bricks, a wooden floor, and seagreen curtains on it's fourth wall. However the fourth wall is what surprised Bluey, it was not a wall at all, but rather a very large glass window. Once she looked past that she noticed other dogs on the other side of the window. Once she focused her vision she saw that the other dogs were her friends. They were all seated in what looked like a movie theater "H-huh?!" Her eyes widened "W-what's going on?" The other dogs tried speaking to her, but she could not hear a single thing they were saying, but they seemed bothered. She soon saw that dogs wearing helmets stood on both sides of her friends. Then she would see Mackenzie, he was closer than the other dogs, and a gun was focused on him "Kenzie?!" Bluey called out to him. She would try to sit up and go to him only for her to feel something holding her arms and legs in place, something sturdy and a little cold. Bluey then turned her head and that was when she noticed it. Her arms were chained to the wall, she then looked down to see her legs were chained to a bed. She finally noticed that she was in a bed "A bed? Why?" she said. Soon she heard a door open behind her and a familiar face entered "Bluey, it's been ages since we last saw each other" Honey said with a grin on her face. "Honey!" Bluey said, her heart began racing as the beagle stared at her "Honey….why are they here? I am the one you wanted right? Leave them out of this now that you have me here!" Honey giggled "Oh Bluey, there you go thinking everything is about you again" she slapped the poor blue heeler on her snout. Bluey winced "Then what is all this about? Why are they here? Why Calypso?" Honey smiled and sat a chair next to the bed before she looked at Bluey "Because they all chose you over me all those years ago, why else?" Bluey sighed "Honey please, let them go I-" "NO BLUEY! I WANT THEM TO SEE THAT I AM JUST AS GOOD AS YOU…BETTER EVEN!" Honey said. She smirked "After all, the thought of you is what drove me to become as big and as popular as I am. I guess I should be thanking you" Bluey groaned "Thank me by forgiving them!" Honey shook her head "You know, I really tried getting over everything, I think I came close but when I told mum and dad how I was going to become a huntress, they rejected that idea. Do you know what they said? Even Bluey wouldnt take such a dangerous job" Honey looked away from Bluey "That's when I made plans for their funeral" Bluey's eyes widened "Y-you killed your own parents?!" The other dogs were all shocked to hear what the two were discussing. Honey smiled and nodded "You killed your own sister" Bluey shook her head "Not intentionally" Honey leaned forward "You know, everyone looks down on someone selling themselves but really, it's gotten me so far in life" Bluey looked at her disgusted "You mean, you prostititued yourself?" Honey nodded "Even have a daughter of my own, my parents would love her…too bad they had to say the stupid shit they did."

Honey ran her hand across Bluey's body "I wanted so bad to just go to your house and kill you myself, but I was told many times that it would be a waste, that I would need to wait" Bluey shivered at Honey's touch "Honey I swear, if you let everyone go I'll…I'll let you do whatever you want" "NO BLUEY!" Mackenzie yelled from the other side, it was the only sound Bluey heard from that side. Honey laughed "Anything? Even this?" Honey leaned and placed a kiss on Bluey's lips, surprising her and everyone watching. Bluey soon gasped however as Honey and bit down onto her lip, then bit a bit harder until it started to bleed. Honey then broke away an licked the blood off Bluey's face. "It's tasty, I can see why Mackenzie chose you" Bluey was flustered but mainly disgusted "W-why did you do that?" Honey smiled "When I was a kid I saw a hunter that would get a taste of his prey's blood, before hunting them. I'm a beagle, and us beagles were bred to hunt, not like you herding dogs" Bluey was terrified of whatever Honey had planned for her, but she would keep a brave face "Bluey, I can't wait to hear your screams as i remove your organs from your body" Bluey's eyes widened "Then do it already!" Honey raised an eyebrow "Excuse me?" Bluey yelled "Kill me already! You want me dead so bad, because I killed my own sister? Because everyone ended up rejecting you? Just kill me now!" Mackenzie would stand up and try to run to Bluey before the guard dog would shove him to the ground. "Bluey…Bluey you do not understand, while I will enjoy giving you a slow agonizing death, I can't just kill you yet" she laughed. Bluey looked at her confused "Why not?" Honey shrugged and rolled her eyes "Because he wants to deal with you first" Bluey looked around "Who are you talking about?" Honey smirked "My husband" she raised her hand to reveal a wedding ring on her finger. Bluey gasped "You are married? Who would marry you?" Honey smiled "My boyfriend would" Bluey rolled her eyes "Enough of the smartass answers, who is your boyfriend?" Honey rubbed Bluey's cheek "And I thought Mackenzie was the impatient one, you will see when he gets here, all I can say for now is, there is a reason why we needed both you and Mackenzie"

Soon enough, Bluey heard someone approaching them then he spoke "Hallo Bluey" Bluey's eyes widened and the other dogs would be surprised as well. The dog that appeared before them that was wearing a matching wedding ring to Honey's was none other than a dog none of them would have expected. Jean-Luc stood at the foot of the bed with an eerie grin on his face. "Long time no see as they say huh?"

I know I said I killed him off, but it was only to keep this reveal a surprise. In all honesty, he was supposed to stay dead but I wanted there to be another antagonist, Honey was the obvious route but I wanted someone that nobody would have guessed. Also this chapter was going to be much shorter but I decided to add those dream parts to help keep it at average length. How will things turn out now that it is reveal that Jean-Luc is alive? Well you'll just have to keep reading to find out.
