Lilith was walking back to King while carrying a light purple teacup with freshly brewed tea. She approached King and Hooty and she spoke to get their attention as they turned to face her.

"King of... um, titans, would you... like some tea?" said Lilith kneeling down.

"Uh, no thanks. I'm... I'm good." said King looking as though he was still calming himself.

"Of course! Titans don't care for such lowly pleasures." said Lilith looking nervous while tossing the teacup behind her.

The teacup and the tea inside it stopped in mid-air and floated over towards them which of course they saw that there was five of Maxwell's shadow copies with them. One of them was snapping his fingers and the tea and the teacup disappeared in a puff of pink smoke.

"Perhaps I could offer you dark deeds carried out in your name." said Lilith pulling out a sword which freaked out King and left Maxwell's shadow copies wide eyed with surprise.

"Lilith, put the sword down. There's no need for that." said one of Maxwell's shadow copies.

"Uh, no." said King looking horrified.

Lilith dropped the sword upon instructed by one of Maxwell's shadow copies. She sat down on the snow as if bowing down to King like he was a God in the demon realm. After King calmed himself a bit.

"Listen, it's okay. I just uh need some alone time. Your titan... commands it?" said King innocently humoring Lilith. "Also, in case I were to, you know, use the little boy's room. Is there a designated spot for me to use it? You know, like behind some bushes, behind a tree or possibly a bucket I could use?"

"I'd suggest going behind a tree nearby. Any tree. But just make sure nothing is living in it, on it, or near it." one of Maxwell's shadow copies suggested.

Lilith got up on her feet and bowed down to King while she made a gesture to Hooty to bow as well which he obeyed.

"Lilith, Hooty, there's no need to bow down to anyone. The only one we should bow down to is God almighty of the Heavens above." reassured one of Maxwell's shadow copies.

Lilith and Hooty looked up and straightened up their stances which of course they nodded and walked off to let King be alone to think. King walked off to be alone or to find a place to be alone to think. While most of Maxwell's shadow copies went with Lilith and Hooty, one of them stealthily remained with King and kept an eye on him.

"God help my wife, my sister, my brother and all those I love." said one of Maxwell's shadow copies.

Meanwhile in another part of the Boiling Isles

Eda, Luz and the real Maxwell were flying overhead in the air while both Eda and Luz flown on Eda's staff while Maxwell was flying with huge white wings that formed on his back. They were headed to where the coven scouts have gone to that Luz knew they'd be at.

"How many of your shadow copies did you make to go around helping those against Belos and his army of morons?" asked Eda looking a bit surprised.

"Too many to count." answered Maxwell.

Eda and Maxwell looked on at the sight of where they're going to and both looked nervous.

"Me and Maxie saw scouts taking boxes from the house. They're probably holding everything at the Bonesborough Precinct, Francois included." said Luz stating what she suspects.

"Are you sure you wanna do this for a stuffed toy? Wouldn't you rather, oh I don't know, have a beach day?" Eda nervously suggested.

"Maybe if we had time for twenty more adventures, but we don't. Besides, this is for King! He needs his buddy." said Luz sympathizing for King.

"Normally I'm against jumping into something that's dangerous as I don't want anyone that I love to get hurt, especially my wife and sister but this is one of them rare times when I think this is a good idea because King's feeling depressed like a man whose girlfriend broke up with them." Maxwell stated. "But if we're doing this. Proceed with caution. We don't stray from the group."

That's when Eda, Luz and Maxwell flew down to the ground and landed somewhere between two buildings as they watched a lot of mysterious cloaked people walk while holding candles that were lit. A coven scout dramatically banging drumsticks on a drum he carried with him. It was like a dramatic and ominous sight that was organized by a cult leader who manipulated their followers into doing what they want.

That's when two male coven scouts walked by, one being tall and heavyset and the other being of average height and slender. Both of them were comparing complaints about what they agree on.

"Ugh, I hate double-shifts. Can't wait for the day after the Day of Unity. Know what I mean?" said the heavyset male coven scout. "I heard the Emperor killed Daston Logan but I don't know if that's true."

"Sure, but, I'm racking up OT like crazy!" said the slender male coven scout. "Not going to lie. I heard that half breed Maxwell kicked some of the coven scouts asses when they were sent to Hexside. Adrian and those dumbasses got their asses beat up by a bunch of kids. That's fucking hilarious."

"Not going to lie. That's a little funny. I wonder who did a number on Adrian and his scrawny ass. Adrian may be on our side but he's an asshole. I would've loved to see which one of them kids beat his ass. Probably that half breed because he's been known to kick them in the balls." laughed the heavyset male coven scout.

The two coven scouts shared a laugh as they walked off. Eda, Luz and Maxwell walked out from the alleyway they hid from and from a distance. They saw plenty of coven scouts at work, the new versions of the Abomatons helping with the heavy lifting of boxes onto a flying boat that served as some kind of hot balloon, some of the coven scouts were loading them up as well till both Luz and Maxwell saw the coven scout carrying a box that carried King's stuffed rabbit, Francois.

"We got to keep our voices down." Maxwell told them through his mind.

"There, look!" said Luz in a hushed tone pointing forwards. "Francois! Let's pounce!"

"Luz! Espera!" Maxwell commanded through his mind.

They walked back into the alleyway as Eda pulled them aside.

"If we're gonna do this we gotta do it right. Belos isn't taking any more chances with us after that little trip into his mind that you, Maxie and Hunter had. If we wanna stay alive we have to be inconspicuous." said Eda with a word of caution.

"Inconspicuous?" Maxwell said out loud as he had a smile on his face. "I got an idea."

"From the look on your face. I can tell you got something killer." said Eda with a devious grin.

"What I got in mind is going to be a little outside the norm of how we do things. Lord forgive me." said Maxwell as he began to inform the two of his idea which left them both wide eyed with their jaws dropping.

At the precinct

While inside the building. Various coven scouts and others were doing their work and desk and paperwork as well as if they were the ones who did all the desk and paperwork in a branch of an insurance company. That's when the double doors burst open and there were what looked like three coven scouts. They were obviously Eda, Luz and Maxwell in disguise but Maxwell must have made it so that they would be hard to recognize.

"On your feet, maggots!" spoke Maxwell loudly in command while he mimicked an adult like deep and very gruff voice.

The coven scouts in the room of the building's front entrance immediately got up on their feet and gave him a salute while uttering a "Yes sir!" to show they were at his command.

"Alright men. We're here on an official inquiry. Take us to the Owl Lady's confiscated belongings, pronto!" Maxwell commanded. "Do not lay a hand on my associates as they're with me on the same inquiry. Do I make myself clear!"

"Sir yes sir!" the coven scouts said loud and clear while saluting.

"Who do we go to that knows where the Owl Lady's belongings are as there's something illegal amongst the various belongings that we need to inspect. We got word that it's a deadly weapon that can go off like a bomb. We're here to retrieve it and have it disarmed immediately. Can someone direct us to where we should go that has the Owl Lady's belongings stored in?" said Maxwell coming up with his most convincing lie he could think of.

"Over here sir." came a heavyset male coven scout who stood by his desk.

"I love it when my man can make a convincing performance and can strike fear in those faithful to Belos." said Eda proudly.

Later on in Bonesborough

King had been sadly walking around in the town of Bonesborough. He bumped into one of the cloaked people but both the person and King paid each other no mind till King stopped in his tracks.

"Lose your way, little guy?" came a male's voice nearby.

King raised his head up and turned to see Steve sitting on a motorcycle that appeared to be one that no one in the human realm would make. He wore a black leather motorbike jacket. King walked up to him.

"Actually I got where I was going but now I, uh... eh?" said King sadly till he took a closer look at Steve and realized something. "Hey, I know you! You're Steve from Lilith's party! Shouldn't you be like kissing the Emperor's butt right now?"

"Probably. Heck, growing up, all I wanted was to be an Emperor's Coven Scout, to be considered one of the best. I got what I wanted, but it's not what I thought it was." said Steve showing he might've had an epiphany. "Everything that Maxwell was saying about Belos and the Emperor's Coven. After everything I've seen, heard and been through as a coven scout. Maybe Maxwell is right about everything from all of the above. I've been thinking lately about so much he's said and maybe I should give this man he calls God a chance. Not going to lie. I like that guy and I'm all for it with him becoming Eda's husband."

"I hear that." King acknowledged.

"Belos is supposed to know everything, but why should he know what the Titan wants? Maybe the Titan doesn't even know what he wants? Maybe he's just some normal guy, you know? Maybe Belos has been lying to us this whole time and Maxwell was right was about everything. Maybe Maxwell should be our emperor, our ruler, our king. He's the best guy I ever known." said Steve with a brief rant but sighed. "Anyway, you going somewhere, cause I've got a sidecar and nothing but time!"

Steve pulled out a helmet from his sidecar and with King thinking that the two could use some time to think, clear their heads and seeing that Steve might've quit the Emperor's Coven. He ran towards the motorcycle and climbed into the sidecar while Steve placed the helmet on King's head, his two horns punching holes in it at the top but it stayed on his head.

"I point, you drive. If we have to use the bathroom along the way. We'll park your ride on the side and find a bathroom or perhaps go behind a tree or bushes." instructed King.

"You got it, little man." said Steve revving up the engine.

Afterwards, they drove off to wherever they felt like going. But Steve had a thought in mind.

"I wonder if I could find Maxwell and confess my sins to him as well as repent and seek forgiveness from the lord?" Steve thought.

Back at the Knee

Lilith and Hooty were inside the cave as Hooty fed on some of the firebees while Lilith was questioning herself on how she should behave towards King now that she knows King is a titan.

"Did I insult him by groveling too much? Did I not grovel enough?" questioned Lilith.

"Maybe he wants to be treated like, I don't know, normal?" said Hooty with a word or reassurance. "Maxie was the same way when we found out he's the first human witch hybrid and we didn't treat him any different. We were very supportive towards him during that event."

"Nonsense! He's a titan and Maxie has the power of a God, for Titan's sake!" said Lilith now suddenly gasping. "Oh, Titan, I just took their names in vain. Ah! I did it again!"

"Lilith, me and King are not Gods. I do not have the power of a God ether. Saying for Titan's sake or titan isn't blasphemous. We don't know anything about that. But just in case. Let's not blaspheme. The only God we have is the one high up in the Heavens above." reassured one of Maxwell's shadow copies. "As one of the ten commandments has stated: There are no other God's before Him and we worship no other Gods or false idols for only He is the only Lord our God."

Lilith looked towards Maxwell's shadow copy and felt some form of reassurance in his words.

"That's a relief." said Lilith with a sigh of relief. "I'm still learning about God and Christianity so some of this is still new to me."

"I can teach it to you. Granted, I'm not someone whose all knowing. Only God is all knowing. I just know what I was taught." said Maxwell's shadow copy.

That's when Hooty extended his body out to look outside the cave and another one of Maxwell's shadow copies followed him and both of them saw that King wasn't nearby anymore. The two turned to Lilith with a worried expression.

"Uh, Lulu, I think we have a bigger problem." said a worried Hooty.

"King's missing." said one of Maxwell's shadow copies.

"I can track him down. I had one of the other shadow copies follow King. I can sense their brainwave activity from here." said another one of the shadow copies. "Let's move."

Back at the precinct

One of the coven scouts gave Maxwell the key to the warehouse but the key wasn't like any normal key to a door but it was the skeleton of a hand with its wrist and below with a number two on the wrist that was printed on there in red. Maxwell took the key with them as they were taken to the elevator that would take them to the warehouse and where they needed to go.

"Sir, is there really a possibly bomb stored in one of the boxes from the warehouse? What if someone lied and they made it up as a last-minute joke before the Day of Unity?" asked a slender male coven scout.

Maxwell turned to the coven scout and he uttered an alligator like hissing sound from his voice which was perfectly mimicked.

"Then someone will be answering to Emperor Belos and will be totally fucked." Maxwell said with a word of warning. "Do you want that?"

"No sir." said the coven scout giving a salute out of fear of being punished.

"Understood soldier. Now get back to your post and we'll handle it from here." Maxwell commanded.

"Yes sir." said the coven scout as he marched back to where he should be.

Once he was out of sight. Maxwell turned to the elevator which above it read a sign "warehouse 2" and Maxwell handed Eda the key so she could use it. Eda pressed the skeleton hand to the left-hand scanner. It was glowing a brief yellow light and the elevator door opened for all three of them to walk right in it with the elevator door closing behind them.

"I really hate getting militaristic on people." said Maxwell now speaking in his normal voice. "I have my reasons."

"Not to worry Maxie. It was to throw them off. Besides, you had me convinced with that incredible performance." reassured Eda till a thought came to mind. "Why's everything going our way now?"

"Maybe our luck's finally turning!" Luz pointed out.

"Let's stay sharp in case we fall into a trap. I'm getting a bad feeling about this." Maxwell said expressing his worry.

The elevator took them down to another floor and it wasn't long till it took them to the floor they were heading to. The elevator stopped, the doors opened and they entered the warehouse. There was a lot of various boxes neatly stacked and organized everywhere which the warehouse was much bigger than they expected.

"Woo, boy, we're gonna need to split up if we want to find Francois." Eda pointed out.

"I'm not leaving ether of you two alone nor am I going to let you two go off alone." Maxwell stated.

"Unfortunately, we got no other choice and we have to avoid making more shadow copies here. They saw three of us come in and it will look light a major red flag if seven or more came out. Maxie, I'll be fine, you go with Luz and keep an eye on her." Eda pointed out while instructing Maxwell.

"Consider it done." said Maxwell obeying Eda.

Eda was now holding her staff out for them both to take. Luz and Maxwell removed their masks as Maxwell's face looked like he had used magic to disguise his face by making his hair look flaming red and looking like he had a thick red beard and mustache.

"If things get hairy, you two fly out of here as fast as you can." Eda advised while Luz had a worried pout on her face as if afraid to do that while Maxwell felt like he was forbidding himself to leave his wife behind. "Hey! Don't give me that face, just say okay, okay? I know you don't want to leave me behind but in case anything does happen. We might have to find our own way out."

"We're not leaving you. I'm not leaving wife behind and Luz isn't leaving a family member behind ether." Maxwell argued.

"We don't have time to argue about this. I know you both don't want to do that but there may be a time when you have no other choice. You already have restored both my magic and Lily's magic for another month a few days ago. I can use my magic to try and get out. Just trust me on this." Eda reassured.

Luz took the staff and said "okay" while Maxwell knew he couldn't disobey Eda but the only times he would disobey is if it's to help her or to save her.

"Before anything else." said Maxwell.

Maxwell approached Eda and bowed his head to her while Eda smiled and pulled Maxwell into her arms to smooch him on his lips while he smooched her back. The two of them kissing each other romantically as if for good luck. After they pulled their lips from each other in a loud pop and released their arms from each other too. Maxwell's cheeks blushed slightly.

"My love for you is forever as is eternity." Maxwell said proudly.

"As is my love for you and those I love." Eda said proudly. "Oh, and if you find a box labelled, "Eda's Longest Toenails", grab that, too."

Eda joked and smiled at her request while playfully ruffling Luz's hair a bit which made her laugh a bit with a smile while uttering "ew" with a chuckle in her throat.

"Always leave them laughing." chuckled Maxwell.

Eda, Luz and Maxwell took off in opposite directions with Eda going down the right while Luz and Maxwell went down the center. But both Eda and Maxwell heard someone's voice speaking from nearby. They weren't alone.

"Eda, up the stairs to the second floor. There's a guard up there, she's talking to Raine via crystal ball. Be careful." Maxwell informed Eda through his mind.

Eda walked up the stairs and saw that there was a female guard captain that was talking to Raine on the crystal ball. The female guard captain spoke about how they secured Eda's house but there was no sign of Eda.

"Just keep looking until you find her and only come to me when you do. Same goes for if you find Maxie or Luz. Do not harm them, do you hear me?" came Raine's voice.

"Yes head witch." the female guard captain responded.

Eda could hear their conversation while she could tell that Raine was there for a reason. A reason that was unknown.

Somewhere around the Boiling Isles

Steve and King were traveling around the Boiling Isles as if it were like a road trip to clear their heads. Their first stop was somewhere in a big open field while Steve read a book that read "Synergy in the Emperor's Coven" while King walked up to what looked like ether a tooth of the titan or possibly some other type of bone that could've been one of the rib bones of the titan. King would hug it like he was embracing who he is now.

After a few minutes, King walked back to Steve and his motorcycle as he got into the sidecar, placed on the helmet and they drove off while one of Maxwell's shadow copies ran towards them at superhuman speed that he was fast on his feet and able to run fast as that motorcycle that Steve drove.

Then Lilith landed on the ground with Hooty using his body like a helicopter's propeller while the other shadow copies of Maxwell flown with her.

"There!" said one of Maxwell's shadow copies pointing in the direction Steve and King went which they saw them disappearing into the distance.

Somewhere at a beach. King would be chasing the flowing water that would wash up on shore and flow away from it. While Steve would toss a stone into the water, making the stone skip across the water three times. That's when one of Maxwell's shadow copies approached them.

"Hey Maxwell." said Steve.

"Hey Steve." said Maxwell's shadow copy.

It took Steve and King a moment to realize that one of Maxwell's shadow copies has followed them till they looked right at him. He shown them the tattoo on the back of his neck to show them that he's one of Maxwell's shadow copies.

"Uhhhh, we can explain." said Steve.

"No need. Everything in your minds told me everything." said Maxwell's shadow copy. "I'm glad you're keeping King safe. So you left the Emperor's Coven and decided to be your own man like I've advised you to do?"

"It's a long story, Mr. Logan." said Steve.

"I'll go with you and you can tell me along the way. But we need to make sure that we meet up with Lilith and Hooty." said Maxwell's shadow copy. "And you can just call me Maxwell."

As Steve breathed a sigh of relief. He turned to see what looked like a couple of women walking by. Maxwell's shadow copy recognized one of them as the purple skinned elderly female goat like demon that he recognized from the Bonesborough Brawl but she was walking with someone who appeared to be an elderly female demon who had pale purple skin, four eyes on her face with a pair of round glasses. She worn what was sort of like a nun's outfit but technically wasn't a nun's outfit.

Both of them were smiling, holding hands and going for a walk on the beach. Maxwell's shadow copy looked on with a smile as he felt like the elderly goat demon woman has found herself someone to be with as her true love. Maxwell's shadow copy began to mutter something in an unknown language as his hands were glowing a gold light and he blew air on his hands as a gold ball of light shot towards the elderly demon woman that the goat lady was with and once the gold ball of light touched her body. Her entire body was glowing a gold light as any pain, discomfort, allergies, aches, physical conditions, weak constitutions, all of the above disappeared from her body and mind as the gold light eventually disappeared from her body and Maxwell's shadow copy's hands stopped glowing.

"Jezelle, are you alright?" asked the goat woman.

Jezelle stretched her arms, legs, back, and more as she no longer felt any pain, aches, or discomfort of any kind. No allergies at all. She felt like she was having the physical health of a teenager again.

"I can walk properly again. My bad knee is now my good knee. It's like when you were healed by the southern gentleman." said Jezelle.

That was when Jezelle and the goat woman turned and saw Maxwell's shadow copy, King and Steve from nearby. They saw that Maxwell's shadow copy's eyes stopped glowing a gold light and were back to their original color. A smile formed on Jezelle's face.

"Praise God! Praise the Lord!" Maxwell's shadow copy stated proudly.

"Thank you young man." said Jezelle with a wink and grin before both her and the goat woman walked off.

"Whoever his mother is. She's raised the perfect gentleman." said the goat woman. "I saw you staring at him."

"Oh Martha, you Cerberus hound dog." laughed Jezelle as the two shared a laugh and walked off into the distance.

Maxwell's shadow copy smile but once he turned to Steve. He saw him break down in tears at the sight of them while both King and Maxwell's shadow copy pulled him in for a hug to console him.

"I really need a girl." sobbed Steve.

"There's still the perfect woman out there for you." reassured Maxwell's shadow copy.

After Steve calmed himself. Steve, King and Maxwell's shadow copy drove off while Maxwell's shadow copy would actually fly in the air and followed them. Lilith, Hooty and some of Maxwell's shadow copies made it to their last location as Hooty would sniff the air till the rest of them heard something from a voice in their heads.

"Lilith, Hooty, you and my shadow copies follow me. We're headed to Latissa or a road that's near that town." said Maxwell's shadow copy speaking to them through their minds.

Steve, King and Maxwell's shadow copy made a stop on a road that was looking as though it would lead to Latissa or near the Emperor's Castle. They came across female adult demon and her child whose carriage that is steered by ratworms had one of their wheels damaged.

"You guys know how to change a tire?" Maxwell's shadow copy asked.

"Yes." answered Steve and King in unison.

"You change the tire. I'll tend to the lady with her injuries." Maxwell's shadow copy instructed.

King was the first to remove the damaged tire while Steve replaced it with a spare which he used a spell circle to levitate it over to the spot of the carriage that the previous tire was installed. While Steve screwed the lug nuts in and tightened them up. Maxwell's shadow copy used his healing magic to heal the adult demon woman of her injuries as she had an ice pack on her head, was using a crutch with her right hand to hold up against her and had a bandage on the right side of her head.

"Relax ma'am. Trust in me as you would the lord." reassured Maxwell's shadow copy.

As he muttered something in an unknown language and his hands were glowing a gold light. He gently brushed his hand across the demon woman's forehead, the top of her head, traced his hand on her right arm and with her permission, he traced his hand on both her feet.

Any injuries she had were rapidly healing faster than Maxwell could run at his fastest speed limit. The pain and discomfort from her body was instantly dissipated and replaced with a pleasant and comfortable feeling as it took less than a minute for any pain she felt to disappear and all of her injuries to fully heal completely from the inside and out. Maxwell's shadow copy's hands stopped glowing after the job was done.

"Southern gentleman. Are you God?" asked the demon woman's son.

"I'm not God nor am I a god. The only God there is the one in Heaven above." Maxwell's shadow copy answered. "Ma'am, do you and your son believe in Jesus and God?"

There was a moment of silence between them till the demon child's mother spoke.

"All this time we thought that the titan was our savior and that Emperor Belos was the one speaking the titan's word and will. But ever since you started to prove Emperor Belos wrong to people, since you and the human girl named Luz has started to change so much for the better around here and all the good you and Luz have done. I don't know if believing in the titan or the Emperor is even an option anymore for us. As soon as we felt like there was something about Belos and his plans that didn't sound ideal to us in our lives. I'm basically just a parent whose trying to raise my child in the best way possible now that you and Luz are proving that Belos may have been wrong the whole time or that his plans might not be for our best interest while the titan may actually be as dead as anyone who lived hundreds of years ago." said the demon woman being honest while showing she's trying not to show doubt in front of her son. "You're a man of God. What would you say we should do or what would God want us to do?"

Maxwell's shadow copy had a smile form on his face and King and Steve were seeing that Maxwell's shadow copy was about to preach God and Christianity to a loving mother and her son.

"Some people say God is a bit of a storyteller himself. There was time when God told a man by the name of Noah to build an Ark because a flood was coming and Noah was told to build an Ark that was this incredibly huge ship. Noah was told by God to gather up two of every animal, his family and as many people as possible to go with them. As the flood came. Those who didn't aboard the ark faced God's wrath but for the amount of time the flood lasted. Once the flood ended. The world was rich with new life and a new beginning while God promised to never destroy earth with a flood ever again." Maxwell's shadow copy proudly told them. "But a lot of people miss the point of that story, thought it was all about God's wrath and anger. But they found out that it for a different reason. My mom and I believed the story of the Ark was a love story about believing in each other. You know, the animals showed up in pairs, they stood by each other, side by side. Just like Noah and his family, everybody entered the ark side by side."

The adult demon woman and her son were a bit surprised by what Maxwell's shadow copy was telling them but were somewhat confused about what to do or what they should do. King gently nudged Steve to signal him to watch Maxwell's shadow copy in action as he shown a proud smile.

"Watch this." King said with a grin.

"Well, even if someone was to say God told someone to do it. What do you do with that?" asked the demon woman.

"Sounds like an opportunity." said Maxwell's shadow copy filling up with pride. "Let me ask you something: If someone prays for patience, do you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If they pray for courage does God give them courage or does he give them opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for their family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?"

The mother and her son were surprised by this but at the same time something about Maxwell's shadow copy's words was starting to make sense to them and they were starting to understand something as if something about what he last stated was what made more sense to them and it stuck with them more.

"When I chose to run from my biological father and his abusive ways and I inadvertently found my way here to the Boiling Isles. I saw that as God sending me an opportunity to break free from the horrible life I was living. When Eda's palisman Owlbert flew off with something of mine. It took me a while to learn this but it turned out that was God's divine intervention giving me the opportunity to find a better life. Maybe what you're feeling right now is God giving you and your son an opportunity to break free from Belos's influence and lies. Belos is the devil in the disguise, ma'am and I can confirm that." Maxwell's shadow copy told them while giving them a word of advice. "While I'm advising everyone as best I can to cut their ties with Belos and those faithful to him as well as cut their ties with his plans and his influence. Maybe that's why Luz and I are here. This looks like God's giving you an opportunity to see the truth, the inner light and for you and your son to no longer associate with Belos and those faithful to him."

The adult demon woman and her son both were thinking for a moment and they found out what Maxwell's shadow copy was telling them and something just clicked inside their minds as they now know what Maxwell's shadow copy was telling them.

"I think this is why you and Luz are here." said the adult demon woman. "God almighty, we're listening."

"He was waiting for you and your son this whole time." said Maxwell's shadow copy with a proud grin.

She embraced the blonde-haired male teenager while he hugged her back. He would whisper to her "don't go to the gathering of the Day or Unity" which of course she understood. After Steve got through with changing the tire to their carriage and had the lug nuts tightened on it. Maxwell's shadow copy helped them up onto the seats.

As the ratworm drawn carriage was going forwards. Both the demon woman and her son waved goodbye to them as both Steve, King and Maxwell's shadow copy waved back. King looked up and stared at the skull or the head of the titan. Later on, they drove to another area where King would be playing in a few puddles while Steve placed a paper figure of a person on King's head which of course Steve used the paper from some pages of his book.

Afterwards, Steve and King drove off on the motorcycle while Maxwell's shadow copy flew in the air above them while Lilith, Hooty and some of Maxwell's shadow copies followed them and saw them heading out into the distance. That was when Maxwell's shadow copy telepathically informed Lilith and Hooty where they were headed to next.

Back at the Warehouse

Eda was kneeling near the entrance to a room on the second floor of where the female guard captain was as she was talking to Raine through a crystal ball.

"Head Witch, I'll do all I can to find the Owl Lady. You have my word. Same goes for the southern gentleman." said the female guard captain trying to reassure Raine.

"Your word doesn't count much without results. Just go." said Raine getting frustrated. "As for the southern gentleman. Be as careful as possible with him. He may be against laying a hand, finger or his magic on a woman. But there could be a chance where he'll take down a lady as a last resort. He could probably take out the Emperor if he chooses to."

"I understand Head Witch." said the female guard captain.

As the crystal ball stopped glowing. The female guard captain left the room in a hurry while Eda reappeared in the room and let out a breath of fresh air. She was using one of Luz's invisibility glyphs to hide and she was beginning to work on the crystal ball just by tapping it. It reactivated and shown Raine again. Raine was rubbing their forehead in frustration and placed their glasses back on.

"Captain, I thought I told you to—Eda?" said Raine looking surprised to see Eda.

"Please, just give me a minute. I'm not trying to stir trouble." Eda implored.

"You're wearing a stolen uniform." said Raine giving Eda a scowling look.

"And I am working it!" said Eda flinging part of her hair till she got serious. "Listen, I don't know what you're hiding, but I do know that somewhere deep inside you still care about me, my friends, even the kids I told you about, otherwise you wouldn't let me walk free at the Coven Parade, same for when my husband tried to reason with you or why he couldn't delve into your mind. Raine, I know about the Day of Unity and the Draining Spell. Maxie and Luz know about it. Verry few know about it."

Raine suddenly made a slight nervous expression on their face while Eda suddenly heard Maxwell's voice speak to her through her mind by telling her "Eda, put your disguise back on. Terra's about to intercept the call or interrupt it for that matter" which of course Eda obeyed and placed her mask and hood back on.

"Nope, I—I saw that expression! It is that bad, isn't it? That's why I... I need your help." said Eda looking like she was desperate.

"There's no time for your schemes, Eda." said Raine about to end the call.

"Wait! This is for my kids and my husband. They can't be around during the Day of Unity. Put them in a castle, bunker, get them on an airship, I don't care, just, just, keep them safe! If you do, I'll give myself up right now." said Eda complying.

"Eda, wait, don't this. There's got to be another way." Maxwell said in Eda's mind. "Eda, Raine, Terra's coming."

Both Eda and Raine could hear Maxwell talking to them in their minds. Both of them now tried to look serious as Terra shown up, interrupting their conversation.

"Come along, sprout. Places to be, hedges to trim!" said Terra as she began to look through the crystal ball.

Eda was in her disguise and gave a salute while Terra looked as though her amused face was showing suspicion or possible stoicism.

"Awaiting further instructions, Head Witch." said Eda giving a salute.

"Stay put. I'll send someone to receive the package." said Raine playing along.

"Your uniform looks outdated, captain. Looking like a pile of compost." said Terra coldly.

After Raine tapped the crystal ball, making it stop glowing. That's when Luz and Maxwell were at the entrance to the room that Eda was in but what Luz saw and heard was leaving her shocked and confused once Eda pulled her mask off. Maxwell on the other hand appeared as though he feared this was going to happen but wanted to hear Eda out.

"Eda? Are you sending us away?" said a confused Luz.

Eda turned to face them and saw that Luz was holding onto her staff with her left hand while holding onto Francois in her right arm. Luz suddenly placed the stuffed rabbit toy in a bag she had with her. Eda was looking as though she didn't know what to tell them as if caught in a lie.
