Legacy opened the door to her room and looked outside. The house was quiet. It was morning and apparently no one else was awake yet. She had stayed in her room since the episode with Seth in the kitchen yesterday. When he came knocking hours later to ask if she wanted a late night snack, she didn't even answer his knocking. She pretended to be asleep even when he tried saying on the other side of the door that he knew she was awake. It wasn't fair to him. He hadn't done anything wrong but she couldn't face him after what had happened.

She walked slowly through the silent house, looking around and out of every window. It was a beautiful house with beautiful surroundings. She just wished she had been brought there years earlier. She stopped at Edge's room and looked inside. Surprisingly he was awake.

"Sweety," he smiled. "Come talk to me."

She walked in and sat down on the chair next to the bed.

"Do you know why you're named Legacy?" He asked.
"Mom said you hated it and told her to name me that so that everyone would know how useless I am," she said.

He sighed and reached for her hand.

"It's true I did tell her about the name. Your mother was a weird one. She loved doing things I didn't like so I had to be smart about it. I told her that I heard about someone naming their kid Legacy, and how stupid that was as a name. I knew it would work. She jumped on it and suddenly that had been her favorite name for years. Truth is I loved the name and I wanted to name you Legacy. I outsmarted your mother," he said.

She couldn't help but chuckle at that. She always knew Sable didn't care much about the name.

"Unfortunately she decided I wasn't worth keeping around. I came home one day and found my apartment ripped of most things. She had moved away with you and everything I owned before even meeting her. You were only three weeks old when that happened," he said.
"I'm sorry," she said.
"So am I but none of us are at fault," he squeezed her hand. "I finally found you."
"You keep saying that," she giggled.
"That private investigator was worth every penny. Seth found him. Everyone failed before him but that Batista guy sure knew some tricks. I paid him double of what he asked for because I was so happy," he said.

He squeezed her hand again and started stroking it with his thumb.

"Seth came in here upset yesterday after you left my room," he said.
"What did he tell you?" She asked.
"Nothing, unfortunately. He said it was your secret to share, and that you would tell me once you were ready," he said. "What is it, sweety?"

She looked down at their hands and shook her head no.

"It's nothing you should worry about," she said.
"Worrying about you is my job," he said.
"It's just that sometimes Brock does things," she said.
"What kind of things?" He asked.
"You know," she shrugged. "Things."
"I don't know what you're talking about. You gotta be more clear," he said.

She looked up and looked at him with tears in her eyes.

"He does things to me," Legacy said. "You know, at night when everyone is sleeping."
"What kind of..." Edge stopped for a second. "No. Say it isn't so."
"Let's not talk about it," Legacy said.
"No, we need to fucking talk about this! He needs to fucking die for putting his hands on my daughter!" Edge yelled. "Seth!"
"I'm right here," Seth said.

Legacy and Edge looked towards the door. Seth stepped inside. It was clear he had been on the other side listening.

"You got some nerve," Legacy said.
"I didn't want to interrupt. It was important for him to know," Seth said.
"And now I know!" Edge yelled. "Deal with it, Seth, or I'll drag myself out of this bed and do it myself!"

Seth walked over to the other side of the bed and placed a hand on Edge's chest.

"Edge, calm down. I know you're upset but you need to stay calm," Seth said.
"But," Edge started crying. "That monster hurt my daughter."
"I know that but nothing good comes from yelling," Seth said. "Besides, she's not the only one keeping secrets."
"What does he mean?" Legacy asked.
"Nothing," Edge lied.
"This is not a secret I'm willing to keep. Either you tell her or I will," Seth said. "Don't test me, Edge. She needs to know."

Edge looked over at Legacy. He blinked but tears kept slowly rolling down his cheeks.

"There's a doctor in Norway," Edge said.
"What kind of doctor?" Legacy asked.
"They won't operate on me here. It's too dangerous with where the tumors are placed," Edge said.
"But there's a cool guy in Norway who said fuck it all and started performing this surgery with great success," Seth said.
"One died," Edge said.
"But seven lived," Seth said. "The odds are good enough for me."
"It's too risky," Edge said.

The two men started talking over each other, arguing about whether or not to travel to Norway and get the surgery. Legacy moved her eyes from man to man. They needed to stop arguing.

"Please, stop," she said.

They didn't hear her and kept arguing. She took a deep breath and let out that one word she had longed to say all her life.

"Dad!" She shouted.

Both men stopped speaking and just looked at her.

"Did you just..." Edge looked at Seth. "Did she just..."
"She did," Seth said.

Edge looked at Legacy again and smiled through his tears. He grabbed her hand and moved it to her lips.

"Say it again, please," Edge pleaded.
"Dad," Legacy smiled.
"That's right. I'm your dad," Edge said.
"Now that I have your attention," Legacy said. "The way I see it, you'll die if you don't go to Norway. I'm gonna lose you soon if you stay here. Norway is a risk but I will go there with you so you know you're fighting for me on that table. You know you better wake up again so I can hug you again and you can buy me more shoes or whatever."

Both men chuckled at that comment and that made her smile grow even wider.

"This can give us time, dad. Time that we both want. Time that we fucking deserve. I am asking you to fight for me. You finally found me, and that means I finally found you too. Don't let me lose you already," Legacy said.
"She makes one hell of a point," Seth chuckled. "She should have been on the debate team."
"For you, sweety, I will go to Norway, but only if you both go with me," Edge said.
"Not a problem," Seth said.
"There is a problem. I don't have a passport," Legacy said.
"Don't worry. Your dad is connected," Seth smirked. "He can get you a passport by the end of the week. Let's go right now to set the wheels in motion."

Legacy nodded and stood up. If there was a chance her and Edge could get more time together, she would travel to the end of the world for it.

"I'm calling the doctor and ordering plane tickets when we get home," Seth said.
"We need to find a hotel too," Legacy said.
"We can sit down together and find a nice one to stay at," Seth said.
"Don't forget to buy breakfast while you're out," Edge said. "None of you have eaten yet."
"You're always such a dad," Seth chuckled.

Seth and Legacy walked out of the house together and over to Seth's car. He looked at her over the roof of the car.

"When did your mother meet Brock?" He asked.
"When I was 7. He brought some kids along too but they have all moved out by now. For some reason they kept having children together that I was tasked with to raise," she said.
"I don't care about that right now," he said. "When did it start?"
"When did what start?" She asked.
"When did he start coming to your room at night?" He asked.
"When I was 9," she said.
"Motherfucker!" He growled.

He turned around in anger for a few seconds. He took a couple of deep breaths and turned back around.

"Do you want me to take care of it?" He asked.
"How?" She asked.
"What punishment would you see fit for him?" He asked.
"If I could break both his hands to make sure he got the message to never touch someone else, I would," she said.
"I'm asking you one more time," he said. "Do you want me to take of it?"
"I don't want you to get involved. If you get caught, they're gonna find out where I am, and I'm gonna lose you. I kinda like you already," she said.
"I'm not getting caught. I know a guy," he said. "Should I call my guy?"

She stared at him for three seconds and then finally nodded.

"Yes," she said lowly.

He took out his phone and dialed a number. It was answered shortly after.

"Hey, Mox," he said. "I need a favor. I need you to pay a man a visit. Break all his fingers and then both of his hands and wrists. Make sure to deliver a message to him about coming back if he ever touches another child or another woman that isn't his wife. I'll text you the details. Name your price. The money will be in your bank account before the day is over. Hold on until I give the green light. I need an alibi before you move in. Thanks. I'll talk to you later."

He hung up and unlocked the door.

"Let's go," he said.

They got into the car and he handed her his phone that was open on a text message.

"Send Brock's name and address to him," he said.

She stared at him without saying anything. He reached over and gently stroked her cheek.

"It's not too late to back out," he said. "It's your call."
"He deserves it," she whispered.
"He sure does," he said. "But I will not hold it against you if you don't want to go through with it."

He stroked her cheek again and she closed her eyes for a few seconds. When she opened them again, he could see the determination in her eyes.

"Drive!" She ordered. "I'll text your friend. You get us to dad's contact for my passport. We're going to Norway and he's getting that surgery while Brock is getting his bones broken. Nothing can lead that back to us."
"You're a smart woman," he grinned. "I really like you, chipmunk. You're not that shy anymore."
