Okay, I think the tournament's gone on long enough, don't you? How about we end it now?
With that, all 40 Slifer Red students have shown off their decks. Much later in the tournament, Katsuki Bakugo has won his side of the tournament. The day after, Izuku Midoriya, after a few long, and hard fought duels, has won his own side of the tournament. Now all that's left… is for the two boys to duel and see who gets to be the Slifer Red Representative and who gets to choose who gets to be the Vice Representative!
The time had come and so had they. The two boys would now duel to see who would be the representative today. "Dekiru."
"Katchi."
"You're the only one who's ever beaten me. That's why you're the only rival I ever had. That's why these extras… were never gonna win against me." Katsuki growled.
"Because you didn't want to lose to anyone else?" Izuku guessed.
"Yeah. That's why I'm gonna beat you this time. So that everyone knows who the top dog of the school REALLY is!"
"...We'll have to see about that, won't we?"
At that, the two pull out their Duel Disks.
"DUEL!"
IZUKU LP: 4000
KATSUKI LP: 4000
"I'll take the first move." Katsuki growled.
"Bring it on, Katchi!" Izuku provoked.
Cue: The Arena (Persona 5 DLC)
Katsuki looked at his hand. 'Not gonna be much, but it's a move… Damn. I'll have to take a hit.' He grimaced in thought. "I'm summoning Destiny Hero - Decider!"
At his declaration, he summons a superhero covered in a fish-like suit.

ATK: 1600
"I end my turn there."
'Not much of a move… What's Katchi planning…?' Izuku wondered in his thoughts. "My turn! Draw! I'm activating the Spell Polymerization! I'm fusing Elemental Heroes Bubbleman and Necroshade from my hand!"
Bubbleman and a superhero in red and black clothes with golden pauldrons appeared. "Hero who defeats villains with bubbles, fuse with the hero of darkness! The time is upon you both to show them what you can do! The day has come! Fusion Summon! Freeze them! Elemental Hero Absolute Zero!"
The same monster that was fusion summoned during Izuku's duel with Shalltear appears.

"And now I'll Normal Summon Elemental Hero Avian!"
Izuku summons a superhero in a bird-like costume with powers of the wind.

"And now I'll activate the Field Spell Skyscraper!" Izuku declared as he, indeed, summons a building that goes high up into the sky. "When an Elemental Hero monster attacks a monster with higher Attack Points than its own, that Elemental Hero gains 1000 Attack Points during damage calculation only! Go, Elemental Hero Avian! Attack Destiny Hero Decider with the power of Skyscraper!"
ATK: 1000 + 1000 = 2000
Avian follows his order and fires a blast of wind, destroying Decider.
ATK DIFFERENCE: 2000 - 1600 = 400
KATSUKI LP: 4000 - 400 = 3600
AVIAN ATK: 2000 → 1000
"Absolute Zero will now attack you directly!"
"No he won't! He'll explode!" Katsuki growled, confusing everyone, but making Izuku grunt, like he's expecting a certain card for Katsuki to activate. "That's right, Dekiru. Here's that card you've been whining in your thoughts! Destiny Hero - Dynatag!"
A man with an explosive body appears between Absolute Zero's attack and Katsuki. "Whenever I would take damage while my Life Points are lower than my opponent's, I can discard this card instead. And if I do, both players take 1000 points of damage!" The blonde boy explained before Dynatag exploded, affecting Izuku.
IZUKU LP: 4000 - 1000 = 3000
When the smoke cleared, Katsuki was just standing there with crossed arms, seemingly unfazed by the blast. Everyone was looking at the screen and, indeed, Katsuki's 3600 Life Points were spared.
"What the hell!? Why was Izuku the only one who took damage!?" Ryuko exclaimed.
"Think about it! He must've discarded another card to mitigate the damage he would've dealt himself!" Mako guessed.
"No, look more closely. He actually has an additional card in his hand!" Ochako corrected Mako. Indeed, Katsuki has another card in his hand.
"Gh… You must've used Destiny Hero - Decider's graveyard effect…" Izuku grunted. "Whenever you would take effect damage, you can return Decider back from your graveyard to your hand. However, you can only use that effect once per Duel."
"Yeah, but check out their faces." Katsuki smirked, looking at the Obelisk Blue students. It was obvious that they didn't see that combo coming, even though they hid their expressions well.
"Yeah… Leave it to you to have a powerful combo." Izuku smiled. "Even I didn't see that coming… But even so… I can't give up. Not until the last card has been played and the last of my Life Points is spent! I'm placing one card face down. With that, I'll end my turn!"
"Defiant to the end, just like all hunters and heroes should be, huh?" Ryuko mused.
"My turn! Draw! I'm activating… my own Polymerization!" Katsuki declared. "I'm fusing Destiny Heroes Decider and Drilldark from my hand!"
Decider and a hero that has drills all over his body appear then spiral into the fusion gate. "Decision making and piercing anti-heroes! Fuse together and let desire fuel your spark! Never lose and be true to your own devotion! FUSION SUMMON! Appear! DESTINY HERO - DYSTOPIA!"
A blue and golden hero with powers over the void appears.
ATK: 2800
"Whoa… He's a Fusion User just like Izuku…? Mind. Blown." Mina said, Ichigo, Yusuke, Sora, and Tsuyu nodding in agreement.
'And people say that people who use Fusion are evil… Kinda makes me think of… someone from my dream.' Velvet muttered in her thoughts.
"To think we'd meet so many Fusion Users in this school…" Momo hummed.
"When Dystopia is Fusion Summoned, I get to target a level 4 or lower Destiny Hero monster in my graveyard and inflict damage to you equal to that monster's Attack Points. I'll choose Decider."
With that, Dystopia blasts a wave of darkness at Izuku.
IZUKU LP: 3000 - 1600 = 1400
"Now go, Dystopia! Finish Izuku off by attacking his Elemental Hero Avian!"
"Oh no! Dekiru!" Ochako gasped.
Izuku let out a shocked gasp after hearing Ochako but then shook his head to focus on the duel in front of him. "I'm activating the trap Hero Barrier!"
Izuku reveals a trap that features a heroic barrier blocking an attack. "Since I control an Elemental Hero monster, I can negate one attack!"
The trap blocks the attack that was meant for Avian. Ochako lets out a sigh of relief. This does not go unnoticed. Not by a long shot.
"Tch. I place one card face down and end my turn."
"My turn! Draw! I'm activating my face down Quick-Play Spell Mask Change! By sending a Hero monster I control to the graveyard, I can Special Summon a Masked Hero monster from my Extra Deck with the same attribute! I'll offer Elemental Hero Avian!"
A glowing mask appears as Avian jumps towards it. "Hero of the skies, go and sing! Fly high and live without regret! MASK CHANGE! You are no longer Elemental Hero Avian! You are now… MASKED HERO DIVINE WIND!"
A superhero with a green uniform and a white cape appeared.
ATK: 2700
"Go, Absolute Zero! Attack Dystopia!"
Absolute Zero goes and attacks Dystopia with a fist full of ice energy which connects and blasts Dystopia into oblivion.
AZ ATK: 2500 + 1000 = 3500
ATK DIFFERENCE: 3500 - 2800 = 700
KATSUKI LP: 3600 - 700 = 2900
"Divine Wind will now attack directly!"
"I'm activating the trap Back to the Front!" Katsuki declared, showing a trap that features a hesitant soldier being called back into the front lines. "This card allows me to Special Summon a monster from my graveyard in Defense Position! Revive! Destiny Hero - Decider!"
Decider returns and takes a defensive position.
DEF: 1000
"When Decider is Normal or Special Summoned, I get to add a Hero monster from my graveyard to my hand during the End Phase of the turn. I can only use this effect once per Duel too, so that means I'm done with Decider now. Just hurry up and kill him."
"...Divine Wind will attack Destiny Hero - Decider!"
Divine Wind blasts Decider with wind, destroying him.
"When Divine Wind destroys a monster in battle, I get to draw one card. I end my turn by placing that card face down."
"With the effect of Decider, I will add Destiny Hero Dynatag to my hand." Katsuki declared as he did so. "My turn! Draw! …Heh. This is where you lose, Dekiru."
'Oh crap. I know that smirk!' Izuku dreaded.
"I'm activating the Spell Fusion Destiny!" Katsuki growls as he shows a spell that features two Destiny Heroes fusing into one. "By sending materials for the monster from my hand or deck to the graveyard, I can Fusion Summon a Destiny Hero monster from my Extra Deck! I'm sending Destiny Hero - Dogma and Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude from my deck to the graveyard!"
A demonic hero and a hero covered in diamonds appear before swirling together. "The most demonic anti hero, the richest and toughest anti hero! Join in chaos and rise up to show them all your explosive fury! FUSION SUMMON! Destroy it all! DESTINY HERO - DESTROYER PHOENIX ENFORCER!"
A hero with demonic phoenix-like attire appears and roars out a battle cry.
ATK: 2500
"The hell? That thing's weaker than Dystopia…" Ryuko pointed out.
"Don't count it out… It's gotta have a devastating effect if it's got Izuku shaken…" Ochako said.
"Izuku? Not Dekiru?" Ryuko smirked, making Ochako blush.
"Wait! No! That just… it just… it slipped out, that's all!"
"Suuure~" Ryuko chuckled.
"As long as Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's out on the field, all of your monsters lose 200 Attack Points for each Hero monster in my graveyard. Decider. Dogma. Diamond Dude. Drilldark. All those heroes are in the grave. That's four Hero monsters. Therefore, all of your monsters lose 800 Attack Points!"
AZ ATK: 2500 - 800 = 1700
DW ATK: 2700 - 800 = 1900
"And just so you don't get any funny ideas, I'll Normal Summon Disk Commander."
Katsuki summoned a hero based on discs. …Of all things.

"I'll now use Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect! Once per turn, I can destroy one card I control and one card you control! I'm destroying Skyscraper and Disk Commander!"
Disk Commander was absorbed into Phoenix Enforcer before he shot a beam that destroyed Skyscraper.
"Oh no! Now his Elemental Heroes won't get anymore boosts!" Mako exclaimed.
"And because Disk Commander was another Hero monster, your monsters lose another 200 Attack Points.
AZ ATK: 1700 - 200 = 1500
DW ATK: 1900 - 200 = 1700
"Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer will now attack your Absolute Zero!"
"Sorry, Katchi, but I can't lose this any more than you can! I'm activating the trap Draining Shield!"
At that declaration, Izuku reveals a trap that shows a warrior blocking an attack and gaining life from it. "This card negates your monster's attack and increases my Life Points by its Attack Points!"
"What!?" Katsuki gasped.
The Draining Shield blocks Phoenix Enforcer's attack and surrounds Izuku with a comforting green aura.
IZUKU LP: 1400 + 2500 = 3900
"Problem is that now that my Life Points are higher than yours again, I'll run the risk of getting hit by Dynatag's effect once more. Even so, now that you have already used Decider's graveyard effect, you'll have to be forced to take the damage unless you have some other card to mitigate it!" Izuku told him.
"You bastard…!" Katsuki snarled. "I end my turn…! During the End Phase of the turn I used Fusion Destiny, it destroys the monster I Fusion Summoned." He said as Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer was struck by a lightning bolt, destroying him. "With him gone, the Attack Points of your monsters go back to normal."

"My turn! Draw!"
"Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect!"
'Ah! Here it comes again…!' Izuku thought.
"What? Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer has a graveyard effect!?" Giorno exclaimed.
"When Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer is destroyed by battle or card effect, I can Special Summon a Destiny Hero monster from my graveyard during the Standby Phase of the very next turn! And that includes my Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer! With that said, come back from the graveyard! Destiny Hero - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer!" Katsuki ordered as Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer returns to Katsuki's side.

"And when Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer returns, so does the Attack Point reduction of your monsters!"
AZ ATK: 2500 - 1000 = 1500
DW ATK: 2700 - 1000 = 1700
"...I'll start my turn by activating the Spell Card of Sanctity!" Izuku began his turn by showing a spell that had the image of warriors enjoying gold raining down from the sky. "This allows us both to draw cards until we each have six in our hand!" He told Katsuki as the two boys drew until they had six cards in their hands. 'Ah! This card!' He gasped in thought before closing his eyes then opening them at Katsuki filled with determination.
End Song and Cue: Jaden's Theme (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX -Japanese OST-)
"My real turn begins now! I'm activating the Spell card Miracle Contact!" Izuku exclaimed before he showed a spell that featured a silver suited superhero bathed in the light of a galaxy. "By shuffling the materials for the Fusion monster into the deck from my hand, field, or graveyard, I can Fusion Summon an Elemental Hero Fusion monster that uses Elemental Hero Neos as material! I'll shuffle Elemental Hero Neos and Neo-Spacians Dark Panther and Grand Mole to my deck!"
The silver hero from the image of Miracle Contact, a black panther with a cape, and an anthropomorphic mole with a collar that has drills on it appear then spiral into a galaxy. "Ultimate hero of space, stealthy panther, grand digger of Neo Space! Join as one and emerge as a new, strong, hero! CONTACT FUSION! Pierce through the darkness! ELEMENTAL HERO NEBULA NEOS!"
A variation of Neos appeared. This version had some silver portions of the uniform turn black and bronze. His right arm holds twin drills connected to each other and his left arm holds a ball of purple, dark energy.
ATK: 3000 - 1000 = 2000
The crowd looks at Nebula Neos with amazement in their eyes. "There's more: When Nebula Neos is summoned from the Extra Deck, I get to draw cards equal to the number of cards you control. Since you only control Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, I get to draw one card! After that, I get to negate the effects of one face-up card on the field until the end of the turn! I'm choosing Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer!"
"Gh!" Katsuki grunted, not expecting Izuku to summon a monster with that kind of effect.
"Whoa! So if Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect goes away…!"
"Then Izuku's monsters have a chance at winning against it!" Mako and Ryuko declared.
With Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer's effect negated, the weight is lifted off of Izuku's Fusion monsters.

DW ATK: 1700 → 2700
NN ATK: 2000 → 3000
"...Damn. Looks like Dynatag's not gonna matter…" Katsuki sighed. "It'd be pretty embarrassing if I used it anyway…"
"Katchi…" Izuku let out.
"Well? What're you waiting for, Dekiru? I lost. Hurry up. We all got dinner waiting." Katsuki urged impatiently.
"...Right! Nebula Neos! Attack Katchi's Destiny Hero - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer! BLACK HOLE DRILL!"
Nebula Neos places the purple energy in his hand into his drills and fires it at Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, sucking him into the void before it explodes, causing damage to Katsuki.
ATK DIFFERENCE: 3000 - 2500 = 500
KATSUKI LP: 2900 - 500 = 2400
"And now Absolute Zero and Divine Wind attack directly!"
Absolute Zero and Divine Wind blast Katsuki with ice and wind energy respectively, making him roar in defeat.
KATSUKI LP: 2400 → 0
WINNER: IZUKU MIDORIYA
"Ugh… Goddammit…" Katsuki growled in frustration. "You're never gonna let me win…"
"Well, you can't expect me to just GIVE IT to you, right?" Izuku asked with a warm smile, offering a hand up.
"Heh. Nah. Your heart ain't bleeding THAT much…" Katsuki chuckled as he took his hand up. Everyone cheers for Izuku's victory.
"Man, that was something spectacular!" Cereza smiled.
"I can't wait to see more!" Makoto exclaimed happily.
"Very good duels, everyone! Very good!" Keebo declared.
Mysterious Place
The man with sky blue hair and hands all over him, including one on his face, was seen with the hooded figures. "Heroic duelists… What a bunch of hypocrites… Acting like they never failed to save anyone…" He grimaced.
"That's what makes most of them human. They lie to hide their weak strength. They lie to hide their true morals. They lie to hide… who they REALLY are~" A hooded young lady with twin pigtails as long as Drilldark's drills stated.
"Soon enough, they will realize how fragile their grip on reality is." A hooded young lady with a spider-like motif said.
"And if they do not, we will trap them in the depths of despair." A hooded woman with a witch's hat over her hood declared.
"Let's see how good one of them REALLY is." The blue haired man offered. "Veyle." He called. A hooded girl with dragon-like features appeared.
"You called, sir?" The girl, Veyle, asked.
"Find your first victim. Challenge them to… a Shadow Game~"
"As you wish, Lord Shigaraki~ And once I win, I will return to you with their soul~"
Shigaraki chuckles. "I look forward to it. IF you win~"
Later, Cross Tag Duel Academy…
Izuku was standing beside Momo. "I now present to you Slifer Reds, your representative and vice representative. Izuku Midoriya and Momo Yaoyorozu." Satsuki declared. "Congratulations to you both."
"Thank you." They both said.
"Dinner will be served at the cafeteria. After that, be ready for bed. The next two days are free days, so you are all free to explore the campus and the world beyond it. Just be sure to return safely." Satsuki asked of everyone.
During the second free day…
Japan, Tokyo, Near Cross Tag Duel Academy…
Izuku was walking down the street when he suddenly sees the hooded girl, Veyle, flashing him a smirk before heading down an alleyway. "Ah! Wait!" Izuku exclaimed as he followed her hurriedly.
Eventually, the chuckling Veyle would bring Izuku to an abandoned building. Once inside, the two went to the middle floor, Izuku panting from all the running he did. "Finally caught up to you…"
"I wanted to bring you here, foolish hero to be~" Veyle said as she turned and took off her hood, showing her red eyes, her long, white and black hair with feather-like features on top of it, and then took off her cloak, revealing a white feathery dress, and bandages wrapped with golden chains.
"...Who are you?" Izuku asked.
"My name is Veyle. Let us play a Shadow Game~" Veyle shows a human-like mark on her forearm, surrounding the building with purple flames. The flames would create the same mark she showed on her forearm, these flames burning everyone who touches them instantly.
Cue: Defective -Normal and Frenzy Mix- (Fire Emblem Engage)
Veyle laughs at the chaos of the sudden deaths. "Look at these humans! Desperately trying to escape or get in only to die!"
"S-Stop this! Stop this right now!" Izuku ordered.
"You do not get to order me, human! The only way for me to stop is for one of us to lose this Shadow Game!" Veyle denied as she showed a purple book-shaped Duel Disk.
"Shadow Game?" Izuku repeated.
"You will know the price soon enough. For now, just play it like you would a normal game of Duel Monsters~ These flames will not be quenched unless one of us is defeated~"
"...Fine. Game on!" Izuku growled as he prepared his Duel Disk.
"DUEL!"

VEYLE LP: 4000
Cut to Frenzy.
"I will take the first turn. I will start by activating the Spell Terraforming." Veyle began as she showed a spell with the image of a planet obtaining color. "This allows me to add one Field Spell card from my deck to my hand. I will add, then activate, the Field Spell Dragon Ravine!" She exclaimed, showing a Spell with the image of a ravine filled with dragons. "Now, I'll use the effect of Dragunity Remus from my hand. By discarding him, I can add a second Dragon Ravine from my deck to my hand!" She grunted in delight as she did so.
"Now I will use my first Ravine's effect. Once per turn, I can discard a card to either add a level 4 or lower Dragunity monster from my deck to my hand or send a Dragon type monster from my deck to the graveyard. I will discard my second Dragon Ravine to add Dragunity Legatus to my hand. I will then summon Koa'ki Meiru Dragon!"
Veyle summoned a blue glowing dragon that looked like it could self-destruct at any moment.

"Next, I'm using the effect of the Legatus I just added to my hand. Since I control a Dragon Ravine or a Dragunity monster, I can Special Summon it!"
Veyle summons a winged beast that uses his fists for battle.
ATK: 1800
"And now Dragunity Remus's effect! If I control a Dragunity monster, I can Special Summon it, but I must banish it when it leaves the field! Also, I am unable to summon monsters from the Extra Deck except Dragon-type monsters!"
Veyle summons a smaller blue dragon.
ATK: 800
"I will now tune level 2 Remus with level 4 Legatus!" Veyle declared as she sent the two dragons into the air before Remus turned into two green rings, and Legatus into four motes of light that turned into a green beam of light. "Synchro Summon! Roar! Dragunity Knight - Gae Durg!"
Veyle summons a powerful red and purple dragon that roars at Izuku.
LV: 2 + 4 = 6

"Gae Durg's effect. Once per turn, I can add 1 level 4 or lower Dragon or Winged Beast type monster from my deck to my hand then discard a Dragon or Winged Beast type monster from my hand. I will add from my deck to my hand-"
"Not so fast! I'm activating the effect of Effect Veiler from my hand! This negates your Gae Durg's effect when I discard Effect Veiler!" Izuku denied.
"Tch. I end my turn." Veyle conceded. "During the End Phase of the turn, Koa'ki Meiru Dragon forces me to either send 1 Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru from my hand to the graveyard or reveal a Dragon type monster from my hand. If I do not, it is destroyed. I will reveal Dragunity Phalanx, a Dragon type monster."
"My turn! Draw! I'm activating the Spell E - Emergency Call! This allows me to add 1 Elemental Hero from my deck to my hand! I'll add-"
"You will do no such thing! I'm activating the effect of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring! By discarding this card, your E - Emergency Call is negated!"
"Gh…! In that case, I'm activating Polymerization! I'm fusing Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Necroshade!"
A man in golden half plated armor and a blue-electrical patterned uniform and a blue helmet and Necroshade appeared and fuse together. "Loyal man of sparks, fuse with the hero of darkness! The time is upon you both to show them what you can do! The day has come! Fusion Summon! Strike them! Elemental Hero Darkbright!"
A superhero in gold half plate armor and wings appeared. His uniform is mostly red, black, and purple. He also wears a red helmet.

"And with the effect of Necroshade, once, while this card is in my graveyard, I can summon an Elemental Hero monster that's level 5 or higher without tribute! Come out! Elemental Hero Neos!"
Neos joins the fray at Izuku's request.

"Battle! Go! Elemental Hero Neos! Attack Veyle's Gae Durg! Wrath of Neos!"
Neos dodges Gae Durg's attacks before jumping high into the sky and splitting the dragon in half with a karate chop.

VEYLE LP: 4000 - 100 = 3900
"Darkbright will now attack Koa'ki Meiru Dragon! Darkbright Thunder!"
Darkbright fires a bolt of black electricity, zapping and destroying the dragon.

VEYLE LP: 3900 - 100 = 3800
Izuku notices that Veyle grunted in pain. Like… actual pain. "A… Are you okay?"
Veyle chuckles. "How kind of you to care for your enemy~ But you will pay the price soon enough~" She promised as she licked her lips in bloodlust.
"...After attacking, Elemental Hero Darkbright switches to Defense Position due to its effect."
Darkbright takes a defensive stance.
DEF: 1000
"I end my turn."
"My turn. Draw! I will now activate the Spell Pot of Greed! This allows me to draw two cards! And now I will activate the Spell Dragunity Glow!" Veyle began her turn as she showed a spell that had the image of two Dragunity monsters glowing in power. "This allows me to add a level 5 or higher Dragunity monster from my deck or graveyard to my hand. I'm adding Dragunity Arma Mystletainn. Next, I'm playing Pot of Desires. By banishing the top ten cards of my deck face down, I draw another two cards!"
'All these cards that she's adding to her hand… What could she be planning…?' Izuku wondered.
"Now I'm activating Monster Reborn! This allows me to Special Summon a monster from either player's graveyard! Revive! Dragunity Legatus!"
Legatus returns.
ATK: 1800
"And now I'll activate Dark World Dealings. Each of us draws a card then discards a card. I'll send Dragunity Phalanx from my hand to the graveyard while you have no choice but to send the card you just drew into the graveyard. Now, by sending a Dragunity monster from my side of the field to the graveyard, I can Special Summon Dragunity Arma Mystletainn!"
Legatus disappears to make way for a green dragon holding a strong sword.
ATK: 2100

A black dragon with bronze armor appears, but the black dragon disappears, leaving the bronze armor for Mystletainn to equip.
"I will now use Phalanx's effect. Once per turn, when this card is equipped onto a monster, I can Special Summon Phalanx!"
Mystletainn discards the armor before the black dragon reappears and equips it himself.

"Now open! Circuit of the dragon of darkness! Summoning conditions are two Dragon type monsters! Phalanx! Mystletainn!"
Her two dragons turn into spirals that are sent into the bottom left and bottom right arrows. "Link Summon! Appear! Link 2: Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres!"
Veyle summons a bunch of draconic spheres.

'All of that for just a Link 2 monster with 0 Attack Points…? She's got to be planning something here…' Izuku grumbled in his thoughts. "My turn! Draw!"
"I will now activate Heavenly Spheres' Effect!"
"Ah!?"
"Once per opponent's turn, I can tribute one of my monsters from my hand or field to send a monster they control back into their hand! I will return your Elemental Hero Neos!"
Neos disappears, returning to Izuku's hand.
"With him in your hand now, you're quite unable to use him, aren't you~?" Veyle chuckled. "But the pain has just begun, dear "hero"~ Heavenly Spheres has another effect! If this card is tributed, I can Special Summon a dragon type monster from my hand or deck and make its Attack Points and Defense Points zero! Come forth! Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord!"
Veyle summons a gigantic golden sphere.

"Since its original Attack and Defense Points are 0, I needn't worry about that pesky part of the effect~" Veyle boasted.
"It's still my turn, Veyle! I'm switching Darkbright to Attack Position! Elemental Hero Darkbright can also inflict piercing battle damage! Which means you take damage between Darkbright's Attack Points and a Defense Position monster's Defense Points! Go! Darkbright! Darkbright Thunder!"

Darkbright returns to an offensive stance and shoots his black lightning at the golden sphere.
"No you don't! I'm activating the trap Negate Attack!" Veyle declared, showing Negate Attack which gets in the way of Darkbright's attack.
"Gr…!"
"And since Darkbright has attacked again, he is switched back into Defense Position~"

"...I end my turn."
"My turn! Draw!" Veyle rips a card from the top of her deck then smiles sinisterly. "First, I will sacrifice my Hieratic Seal to summon a second Dragunity Arma Mystletainn!"
The seal opens up and reveals another Mystletainn who flies onto the field before the sphere cracks and disappears.

"Same as before, Mystletainn gets to equip a Dragunity monster from my graveyard onto itself. I'll equip Phalanx then Special Summon Phalanx!"
The black dragon in bronze armor returns.

"Now… become my sacrifice, "hero"~!"
"W-Why should I!?" Izuku asked. Veyle chuckles then laughs.
"By banishing two Dragon type and or Winged Beast type monsters from my graveyard, I can Special Summon the ultimate Dragunity Main Deck monster! I'm banishing Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord… and the Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres! Come forth! Dragunity Arma Gram!"
A red dragon wielding an almighty sword arrives here to slay his victims.

"Battle! Mystletainn attacks Elemental Hero Darkbright!"
"Not so fast! I'm activating the trap Hero Barrier!" Izuku denied, showing the trap. "When I control an Elemental Hero monster, this card negates your attack!"
The card gets in the way of Mystletainn's sword, blocking the attack.
"Oh…~? An impressive card. But… Gram will then attack Elemental Hero Darkbright!"
Gram stabs Darkbright, creating an explosion. "Gh! But since Darkbright was in Defense Position and Gram didn't have any Piercing battle damage effects, I take no damage from that battle!"
"Perhaps, but Darkbright isn't going to your graveyard~"
"W-What?"
Izuku looks and sees that Gram has a hand on Darkbright. "Darkbright!?"
"When one of my opponent's monsters is destroyed in battle and sent to the graveyard, I can equip it onto my Dragunity Arma Gram!"
"What!?" Izuku gasped as Gram drains Darkbright's power, making him limp before Gram returns to Veyle's side of the field with a purple ball of energy in tow.
"Dragunity Phalanx will now attack you directly!"
Phalanx charges at Izuku then punches him in the solar plexus, knocking the wind out of him, making him fall to his knees in pain.
IZUKU LP: 4000 - 800 = 3200
"Gh…! Th… That was…!" Izuku let out in shock and pain before Veyle laughed.
"That's right! This is the price you pay for playing a Shadow Game! Any pain you feel from losing Life Points becomes real! Still feeling like playing hero, boy~!?" Veyle asked, delighted from Izuku's pain.
"...Playing?" Izuku focused.
"Huh?"
End Song and Cue: Last Engage -Prayer then Incantation- (Fire Emblem Engage)
"Playing hero? Is that what you call the sacrifices of the Seven Heavenly Lights…? Playing hero…!?" Izuku grimaced, glowing in green electricity.
"...Ah. One who has awakened to his Duelist Powers…" Veyle hummed.
"Don't you DARE ignore my question!" Izuku glared.
"...Hmph. Let me tell you something about "heroes". They think they're saving everyone, but in reality, they couldn't be any farther from the truth. "Make the world better". How foolish~ I mean, really. It's like they KNOW they can't save everyone, yet they're lying to everyone anyway! Who would've thought-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Izuku shouted, interrupting Veyle's rant. "...Part of what you say is true. Heroes can't save everyone. Only the ones they know they can save. But if you think they're lying, you've got another thing coming! Heroic Duelists and Hunting Duelists… They're risking their lives for the betterment of everyone!"
"If that's true, then explain these shackles they've put on me! Explain how badly they treated me!" Veyle demanded, gesturing to her ankles. "They claim to be heroes, and yet, because of my heritage, being the daughter of the dragon of darkness, Sombron, they've TORTURED ME."
"...That doesn't excuse what you're doing to the people that tried to escape."
"This world should be thankful I'm routing some of the hypocrites! Can't you tell, "hero"? People are trying to get a closer look at our Game~ If they get too close, they will die. As husks. As things."
"Then I'll have to save as many as I can. That's what I can promise when I say… "I'm going to save everyone"."
"...Really. A promise made through contradicting yourself. This is what I mean by hypocrisy." Veyle snarled.
"But before I can save them, I have to beat you. And that's what I'm going to do! That's MY promise! As a Heroic Duelist-in-Training, I will defeat you, Veyle!"
"Then go ahead and try, if you dare." Veyle provoked.
"My turn!" Izuku exclaimed as he put his fingers on the top card of his deck. 'My deck… Please… I need your help now more than ever!' He thought as green lightning surged all around him, creating wind that Veyle had to stand against with effort.
"W-What is… this wind…!?" Veyle grunted.
"I DRAW!" Izuku shouted, ripping the card from the top of his deck as a trail of green lightning appeared that led from where the card was to where it went. He looks at the card. "I'm activating the Spell card Card of Demise!" He declared, showing a card with the image of a deck getting chopped by a guillotine. "This allows me to draw cards until I have 5 in my hand!" He told Veyle as he drew four cards. He looked at his hand and looked at one of his cards.
'Izuku. Do it! For the sake of this world!' A feminine voice spoke to Izuku in his mind.
"Right! I'm activating a second copy of Polymerization! This time, I'm fusing Elemental Hero Neos… and Yubel!"
"Yubel!?" Veyle gasped. "That card…! I was supposed to have that card! Damn you!"
Neos and a demonic woman appear then fuse together. "Warrior of space, and ruler of hell! Join together and become a hero with power over light and darkness! Join in chaos! FUSION SUMMON! Rise! ELEMENTAL HERO NEOS KLUGER!"
The superhero returns but with a black upper body and head as well as wings on his head.
ATK: 3000
"And now I'm activating the Spell H - Heated Heart!" Izuku continued as he showed a card with the letter H that's on fire. "This card increases an Elemental Hero monster's Attack Points by 500! Furthermore, if it attacks a defense position monster, it can inflict piercing battle damage!"
ATK: 3000 + 500 = 3500
"And now I'm activating Stop Attack!" Izuku growled, showing a spell that features an X over a warrior trying to attack. "This card allows me to switch one monster on the field to Defense Position! I'm switching Dragunity Arma Gram to Defense Mode!"
Intense gravity surges down on Gram, making him take a defensive posture.
DEF: 2200
"No… No, you can't do this!" Veyle exclaimed in panic.
"I'm afraid I can and I did! Neos Kluger attacks Dragunity Arma Gram! Chaos Bloom!"
Neos Kluger charges up a blast of light and darkness. "I will now activate Neos Kluger's effect! Before damage calculation, if this card battles an opponent's monster, I can inflict damage equal to that monster's Attack Points!"
The blast is shot towards Veyle first, damaging her.
DAG ATK: 2900
VEYLE LP: 3800 - 2900 = 900
"And now for the actual attack!"
A second blast is shot at Gram, destroying him and making Veyle scream in defeat.
ATK/DEF DIFFERENCE: 3500 - 2200 = 1300

Veyle was seen lying on the ground after her defeat. "How… How could a weakling hypocritical hero like you best me…!?"
"Even if I break one promise, I have a lot of other promises to keep." Izuku grunted.
"That makes… no sense…" Veyle weakly said as she lays on her back, on the ground, seemingly dead.
"...I'm sorry…" Izuku apologized as the purple flames died out. Just then, he sees two souls seemingly grunting and fighting.
"Let me go!" The purple eyed soul exclaimed.
"No! If I die, then I'll drag you to hell with me!" The red eyed soul denied.
'What's… going on…?' Izuku wondered.
'Two souls are at odds. And they share one body…' The demonic woman, Yubel, stated as she appeared as an afterimage.
'So you mean… That one of them is the real Veyle…?'
'It's possible that the real Veyle is the one we fought… or that they're BOTH the real Veyle. Either way, we need to break this up.'
'I agree. Actually, I think I should count on you, Yubel.'
'...Hm. I suppose I can give it a shot.' Yubel shrugged as Izuku summoned Yubel.
"Go, Yubel! Separate the two souls!" Izuku ordered. Yubel charges at the two souls.
"You!?" The red eyed Veyle exclaimed as Yubel grabbed her and dragged her off the purple eyed Veyle. "NO! LET ME GO! I HAVE TO TAKE HER WITH ME!"
"You don't have to do a damn thing. Sleep. Forever." Yubel ordered as she let go of the red eyed Veyle, making her shoot toward a direction.
End Song.
Veyle's body starts waking up, her body's eyes now purple. "Ngh… Where am I…?"
"Are you okay?" Izuku asked Veyle. "Veyle?"
"I-I'm fine. Thank you." Veyle nodded as she stood up on her own and dusted herself off. "I'm sorry. I don't know your name even though you know mine."
"Oh! I'm Izuku Midoriya!" Izuku introduced himself. "This is one of my Dueling Spirits, Yubel."
"Pleased to meet the, potentially, real you." Yubel waved.
"What are you talking about?" Veyle tilted her head.
"There was a part of you that wanted to hurt people and took real glee in it. It's gone now, so… maybe this is the real you from now on…? Although, I might be readingtoomuchintoit,but,frankly,Idon'tknowhowIcouldbereadingtoomuchintoitwhenthere'sonlyoneVeyleand-"
"Knock it off!" Yubel exclaimed, interrupting Izuku's muttering spree. "Sorry about that, kid. Why don't you come with us?"
"I-I don't know… People have hurt me before… Simply because I'm… the daughter of the dragon of darkness, Sombron…" Veyle pointed out.
"Well… you never know until we try. If it doesn't work out, I know someone who might take care of you~!" Izuku smiled.
"...Thank you… so much…" Veyle sobbed before she ran into Izuku, crying into his chest. Izuku hugs Veyle.
"There, there… It's okay now… I am here for you…"
