It was a bright and sunny day at the Oreburgh Museum. Roark was sitting down as he was grabbing his tools from his chest, heading to the main lobby to get ready for the biggest event of the year: fossil excavation. Kyland was his assistant on this, hence the event. The Fossil Excavation Event is one of the greatest days in Oreburgh Museum. It was a day where trainers near and far can go into the Oreburgh Mine and find fossils. Those fossils can be shipped to the Cinnabar Island Fossil Restoration Center, where newly hatched fossilized Pokémon can be restored. For Roark, this is his happy place.
The rangers were also helping with the exhibit. Grayson had a few shovels and pickaxes he had organized in one area. Atticus was sitting down after he and his Pokémon grabbed boxes of helmets for trainers. Kyland was working on the registration forms, trying to print them. Mack was working on moving the statues in front of the building and Joe… well, he was stuck on Security Duty.
"This is SO boring," said Joe, crossing his arms. Mack turned around, now wearing his Prehistoric Warrior outfit for the show, "Zip it, Joe."
"What?" asked Joe.
"This is for the new trainers," said Mack, "We can't leave Roark run dry. We have to help him."
"Well, you are a warrior! In your outfit, trainers would think twice!" said Joe.
"This is for show, sir," said Mack, grinning, "Besides, I'm done doing security for a while. It's nice to see someone young and in charge."
Laughing, Joe rolled his eyes as he put his back against the door, "That old guy learns lingo fast."
Kyland turned around as he looked at the next person that Joe accidentally bypassed. Noticing he didn't have a Fossil Pass, a pass needed to cut the line, he walked over to the black ranger, "While you were dazed and bored, you just let a guy go."
Joe, snapping out of it, turned around as he looked at the person, who seemed to be a Jr. Trainer, "Hey, you need a Fossil Pass!"
While Joe was running after him, Atticus stood by the entrance as he rolled his eyes. His Pokémon were helpful in moving what they needed to do, so he could at least help with security. Fifteen minutes passed and the lines were out the door. When Joe got back with the Jr. Trainer, escorting the trainer to the back of the line, the black ranger turned to see the blue ranger with his arms crossed.
"Are we ready to scan passes?" he asked, taking out a black device.
"You bet," said Joe.
Immediately, Kyland turned around as he heard something in the background, "Roark says you can start letting them in."
Within seconds, Joe and Atticus started scanning tickets. As they were continuing to scan, they heard a loud bunch of screams, particularly feminine as the two turned around. Atticus and Joe were in shock as Mack was standing with female trainers, who were getting photos. Mack was grinning from ear to ear as Joe rolled his eyes. Atticus shook his head as he scanned them. Grayson turned to Kyland as he was helping finish the rest of the equipment.
"Is it just me or the guys jealous of our new friend?" asked Kyland.
"Oh, 100 percent its jealousy," said Grayson, looking at the aqua ranger, "But, also Mack needs to watch his tongue sometimes too."
"What do you mean?" asked Kyland.
"Too much pride could be a bad thing…," said Grayson, gathering his stuff. Kyland didn't say anything, knowing that Grayson had a point with what was said. They finished up as they were going to Roark's destination, the place where they are distributing axes and tools to start mining. While that was going on, two people walked toward the hall. One had silverish hair with blue eyes and he wore a blue polo shirt with blue jeans. The other person had purplish hair with green eyes. He had a black t-shirt with black jeans and a white hoodie. Both characters were walking with a box that was green that said "Mining Kit." One of the things in the requirement was that you can bring a kit of your own rather than using what Roark provided to get the ultimate experience. Therefore, it was perfect for Hikers, Miners, and other experienced trainers. The man in blue turned around as he picked up a black and blue phone. Opening it, he reached for his ear.
"We are in position," he said, "The rangers are heavily busy."
"Turnchou, just make sure the bomb is located in a place where they don't know," said Ferro Fett over the intercom.
Chapter 13: The Princess's Guardian
Three hours ago…
Ferro Fett was sitting on the bridge after a long nap. The fact that the Poké Rangers, now seven of them, have been on his case for the past few weeks made him exhausted. It got to the point where he decided to tell his minions that he was going to take a nap and refresh. Hopefully, after a week, he will be able to continue his evil plots to get the Energy Crystals. The villains understood after everything that happened. It's not every day they lose the strongest Energy Crystal.
As Ferro Fett went to go grab a cup of coffee, he went to sit down at the bridge. As he went to sip happily, he heard the door slam. He turned around as he looked at Turnchou, who was skipping along with a red and black box.
"Hey!" shouted Turnchou, "It is finished!"
"What's finished?" asked Ferro Fett.
Turnchou grinned as he opened the box. Ferro Fett looked over to see a golden chip with a green circle in the chip. It was glowing as he turned around, "What is it?"
"A bomb," he said, grinning.
Ferro Fett looked at him, "And where do you think this will be useful?"
"Well… if we put it somewhere small, we can put it in the Poké Ranger's belongings. One of them brings it to their base and KABOOM!" Turnchou said.
"How do you think this will work… unless," said Ferro Fett.
Turnchou grinned as he took out a flyer. Ferro Fett read the flyer as he was looking at it, "The Fossil Excavation Exhibit?"
"Yes… everyone will travel to Oreburgh to do it. The rangers often help at Oreburgh Museum. If we can get inside, I can place the bomb," he said.
Ferro Fett turned around as he looked at the chip. He was very interested in what he saw as he turned to Turnchou, "So, how do you plan on getting in?"
Turnchou grinned as he snapped his fingers. A blue wave of fog surrounded him as he transformed into a human version. He then turned around as he saw a humanoid Weezing walk toward him. Except, it wasn't all purple. His body was purple with a black vest and grey pants. However, his face was grey with a pink mustache and a top hat.
"Wheezer can blend us in… and he can use his smog to do things… it would be a great time for the rangers to fall apart when we do something like this," he said.
Ferro Fett slowly nodded as he turned to Wheezer. Wheezer grinned as he turned to Turnchou, "If we can at least get them trapped in my dimension… or at least a few, it will distract them."
Ferro Fett scratched his chin as he turned to Turnchou. Seeing that Cremelia and Maracturne weren't doing so great, he knew Turnchou possibly could have a shot. He turned to both as he looked at the chip, "Do it."
"Yes sir!" shouted Turnchou.
Oreburgh Mine…
The rangers posed as security as they were supervising the event for Roark. Roark wanted to make sure there was no funny business going on and wanted to make sure everyone was safe and having fun. The rangers were sitting along the mine cave wall. Usually, wild Pokémon would come out to greet humans and challenge them to battle, but with the overflow of people, they hid for now. Lisa and Leona walked toward the guys as Kyland was observing and looking at the rock wall of the mine.
"This is honestly the best thing I have seen today," said Kyland, looking at the rangers, "In Unova, they never do this."
"Each region has its own thing," said Atticus, looking at Kyland. Kyland shrugged as he turned to Atticus, "True. I would love to see if Kanto does anything like this."
"I think they did," said Grayson, turning to Kyland, "Right Lisa?"
Lisa nodded as she turned to Grayson, "Yeah, somewhere in Kanto, there's a canyon not too far from Route 23. It's where they do exhibitions for looking up fossils. And there's one in Kalos off of Cyllage City."
"I need to go on a little excursion when this is done," said Kyland.
Mack turned around as he looked at him, "Not if Ferro Fett is in town. You need to be vigilant."
Rolling his eyes, the sound of screaming echoed through the mine. Kyland turned around as he saw a group of girls with posters of Mack running toward him. Kyland stood there in anger as he was taking more photos due to wearing his suit. The rangers rolled their eyes. Kyland walked away, shaking his head. Turning around, Mack saw that Kyland was about to leave. As he tried to fight the people, a green gas covered the area. Everyone started coughing. Lisa turned around as she looked at what was going on. She noticed the ventilation system had a smog-like smell and it wasn't normal.
"Everyone out!" shouted Lisa, noticing the mine alarm to her right. It was blue, almost like a fire alarm. As she pulled it, the alarm went off, echoing through the whole mine. Evacuations were made immediately. While all of that was going on, Turnchou noticed that the ranger's bags were along the exit of the wall. Turnchou laughed as he grabbed his green chip, placing it in Joe's backpack. Turnchou laughed as he walked away. A blue aura surrounded him as he went to leave. But, as he took three steps forward, he heard a voice.
"Turnchou!"
Turnchou turned around as Joe arrived, "What are you doing here?"
Turnchou gritted his teeth as he pointed away, "Just leaving! Gotta go!"
As Turnchou started running away, Joe decided to follow. Joe quickly grabbed his Dino Com from his pocket as he went to speak, "Guys, Turnchou was just leaving the Oreburgh Mine! I am in pursuit."
Running into the middle of the city, Joe continued to chase him down. However, not noticing, a Mook's hand stretched out as Joe landed on the ground. Joe looked up to see a whole entire army of Mooks. Joe punched and kicked a few Mooks around him. He then got on a crate that was next to a building and flipped backwards, taking his Fossil Blaster in hand. Shooting them down, he rolled over as he shot a few more in the chest. Joe started dashing toward the group as a purplish gas hit him. The force was so bad that Joe landed on the ground. Getting up, Joe looked up to see Wheezer arrive.
"Commander Wheezer at your service," he said, "Looks like our operations are a huge success."
"Destroying Fossil Excavation Day? Yeah, I say you were successful at ruining people's fun," said Joe, striking a fighting stance.
"And you, villain, are going to be toast!"
Joe turned around as he saw Mack walk toward the area, "I had a feeling it was you. That smog was not normal."
"Ah, so I heard about you from Turnchou! You think you are all that because we destroyed your kingdom! Well, it's time I gave you a piece of my mind! Mooks!" he shouted.
Mack turned around as he withdrew his Fossil Charger, "Aerodactyl Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the button, a golden aura surrounded his energy crystal into the fossil charger. He did a little spin, creating a dance as he placed his hand on the morpher. Pulling a lever, the energy slot opened to place the charger inside.
Aerodactyl, Energize!
"Unleash the Power!"
Closing the slot, he pulled the slot with his finger. A golden aura shot out of the morpher as an Aerodactyl emerged. Flying across, Aerodactyl bathed Mack into his ranger suit. He took out his Golden Amber Saber, slashing each Mook as they were coming toward him. He did a spinning hook kick to each creature as the Mooks landed on the ground. Laughing, he turned around as he used a spin kick, knocking the Mooks on the floor.
"Air Slash!"
Building up teal energy around his saber, he released a cluster of air slashes, which destroyed most of the Mooks. As he was continuing, Wheezer went to strike. Joe turned around as he used his Fossil Blaster, shooting Wheezer. Wheezer turned to him, "You think you can stop me?"
Before Joe could do anything, the other rangers showed up. Leona turned around as she looked at him, "You are going to pay for ruining an awesome Fossil Excavation Day! Let's Poké Battle!"
The six rangers took out their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the button, auras of their ranger color surrounded their energy crystal and into the Fossil Charger. Doing a dance, they spun around as they placed the charger in the Fossil Blaster.

"Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, red, black, blue, green, pink and aqua energy were unleashed in the air, swirling around as they were bathed in their suits, transforming into their uniforms. Wheezer released a sludge bomb attack. The rangers dodged it as explosions surrounded the area.
"Dino Armor, Engage!"
Kyland appeared with his Omastar Cannon, "Take this!"
Pulling the trigger, fifty spikes launched out of his weapon, heading into Wheezer's body. Wheezer laughed as he disappeared. Kyland turned around as he was then attacked from behind. Kyland landed on the ground as Grayson jumped over with his Kabutops Slasher. Cutting into his body, Wheezer floated across as he went to strike. As he did, Lisa went in with her Bastiodon Drill. While Wheezer was trying to fight her off, Joe used his Armaldo Blaster to shoot him down. Black beams struck as Wheezer was hit. Before Wheezer could recover, Atticus threw his Carracosta Shield across. Wheezer screamed as he landed on the ground. Looking up, Leona took out a ruby charger.
"Flamethrower Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the trigger, she pressed the charger into her Fossil Blaster. She then raised her hand as a red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum Fang, "Flamethrower, unleash!"
A blast of flames emerged from the Tyrantrum Fang, piercing Wheezer. Wheezer screamed as his smog exploded with it. Leona screamed as she landed on the ground. The explosion was so huge that the other rangers fell and landed on the ground, knocked unconscious. Wheezer fell on the ground as well. As Leona struggled to get up, Mack flew across as he landed next to her.
"That was a stupid idea!" shouted Mack, "His gasses are flammable."
"Easy for you to say…" Leona said, looking at him, "I am not going to argue about this! We need to finish him!"
Wheezer turned around as he released a pink surge of gas. Mack and Leona coughed as the arguing slowed into complete exhaustion, immediately, the two of them disappeared without the other rangers knowing.
Leona opened her eyes as she was looking at the bright, clear skies. The sun was beating on her as she slowly got up. She looked up, noticing that she was in the middle of the woods with trees. She turned around as she was looked up. Lifting her head up, she turned around as she noticed the trees with some Apricorns and some with Oran Berries. As she stepped forward, she then heard a Pokémon with a deep growl. Turning around, Leona noticed there was a mega sized Alakazam looking at her. Freaking out, she turned around as she noticed a mega sized Bibarel. She looked at them as she went to find her Poké Balls. Her Pokémon were missing.
"Oh no…," said Leona, "Why are there eyes red?"
"HAHAHAHA!"
Leona looked up. She noticed Wheezer was standing on a mountain, "I took you into a different dimension. Welcome to Sinnoh before it was Sinnoh. I used my dimension gas and teleported you to Hisui. Ancient Sinnoh as they call it. These are Alpha Pokémon. I heard they are brutal."
"Where's my Pokémon?" asked Leona.
"Back on Earth. You won't be able to stop them with your Pokémon!" she said.
"Well… sadly I have no choice," said Leona, taking out her Fossil Charger, "Tyrantrum Charger, Energize!"
As she went to click the charger, nothing happened. She turned around as she looked at it. She then went to use her Fossil Blaster just to injure or stun her opponents. Nothing was working. She turned around as she looked at Wheezer. Wheezer was laughing and carrying on, "You can't use your Pokémon and you can't morph. Looks like Alakazam and Bibarel will have you for din-din. Go Alpha Pokémon!"
Immediately, Alakazam used its spoons. Leona was caught in a bind as she was covered in a pink light. Struggling, Bibarel used its tail to smack Leona on the ground. Leona screamed as she landed on the ground. Wincing in pain, she then heard laughter from a distance. Leona spat the blood out as Shockhound arrived.
"You again!" she shouted.
"Haha! The Alpha Pokémon definitely are having fun… but I know I will have fun with you… they can have the remains," he said, "These Pokémon are more violent than the Pokémon today. And now… you are going to face your maker! Like you should've years ago!"
Suddenly, he felt something grab him by the collar. Turning around, Mack threw him down. Mack went on top and punched him in the stomach. He turned toward Leona as he took out a Mud Bomb. Throwing it at each Pokémon, the Pokémon winced in pain as Mack grabbed Leona's hand. As the Alpha Pokémon groaned, Shockhound turned around to see that they were already gone.
"Darn it!" he said, "Alakazam, find them!"
Meanwhile…
"Ugh… Leona really knew how to make an explosive battle!" said Kyland, rubbing his head as he sat down to recover. The rest of the rangers were on recovery mode after getting knocked out. Joe was sitting there as he was trying to find the two rangers. They weren't even in the region and their crystals weren't activated.
"Wheezer is powerful," said Joe, looking at the team, "So powerful that Leona and Mack are gone."
"Well… the Fossil Chargers can't even trace it with the Fossil Chaser we used," said Lisa.
Grayson turned around as he looked at them. He grinned as he looked at the group, "Well, I think I figured out something. Wheezer can release different types of gases. I found chemical traces in the one where we all knocked out."
Atticus looked at it as he saw the chemical compositions. His eyes grew as he looked at the team. He shook his head as he decided to continue, "This chemical composition in Wheezer reacts to fire in an abrupt way."
"While we were knocked out though, I saw there was another gas," said Grayson, giving him the handout. Lisa turned around as she analyzed it with her eyes, "Nothing flammable… but their molecular structure is not there."
"It could be because Wheezer can also send people away from their own dimension," said Drake.
The rangers turned around as Drake looked at the handout. Drake nodded, "Those are time particles. Wheezer's gas can send people to different dimensions. Hence why Leona's Poké Balls and possessions are here."
"Yeah, but her Fossil Blaster is with her," said Joe.
"Sadly, due to the dimensional shift, she wouldn't be able to morph," said Drake, analyzing, "If I'm looking at it correctly… Roark and I can figure out where both went."
Lisa turned around as she looked at the others. As she sat down, she turned to notice Roark, who was very upset. Roark walked over to her as she turned to him, "I am so upset that today was ruined."
"I get it…," said Lisa, "This was an intentional thing done by Turnchou, for sure."
"He's gotten crafty," said Roark, looking at the pink ranger, "How were they able to do that without being detected?"
Atticus rubbed his chin as he looked at Roark. Immediately, it clicked, "Hey Joe, did you notice two people walk in that looked out of this world?"
"In a good way or bad way?" asked Joe.
"Bad way," said Atticus.
Joe turned around as he looked up, "Come to think of it, yeah. Roark, can we access your security cameras in the museum?"
Roark turned around and shrugged, "I don't see why not."
Joe nodded as he and Atticus went to get up. Kyland looked up as the two rangers pulled the trigger on their Fossil Blasters. Black and blue auras surrounded the two of them as they disappeared. Kyland turned to Drake as he looked at him, "How well do you know about Ancient Sinnoh?"
"Not too much… I only did my excavation in Northern Oreburgh and Jubilife, which would have been the Obsidian Fieldlands back in the day," said Kyland.
Drake gulped as he looked at the chemical composition of the gas and its molecules. He was then able to use his staff. A blue aura surrounded them as a map of Ancient Sinnoh appeared, with their location, "I think that's where they ended up…"
"Wait… in Hisui?" asked Grayson, looking at Drake, "Well, this is going to be interesting on how to get them back home!"
"You're telling me… and without morphing technology, this is going to be difficult!" Lisa added, "Especially in Pokémon history."
"What about it?" asked Kyland.
"Alpha Pokémon! If Leona's Pokémon are here and she can't morph. How will she and Mack be able to get out of here alive?" Lisa asked.
"What are Alpha Pokémon?" Atticus asked, curious.
Lisa turned around as she went to speak, "Alpha Pokémon are bigger than normal Pokémon. And when I mean bigger, we are talking twice the size of an average Pokémon. From what I also read, they can be hard to fight… at least in the history book I read when I was at Celadon City College… anyway, they have a lot more power due to their size. Leona could have a tough problem because at that time, Pokémon and humans did not get along."
"Now that you mention it, they saw humans as savages," said Joe, looking at Lisa as he turned to the team. Drake nodded slowly as he walked toward them, hearing them. As they continued to discuss, Joe placed his backpack on the ground where the sound of minimal beeping filled his backpack… at one second intervals.
Meanwhile, back in Hisui…
Leona was lying on the ground off on the fields of Obsidian Fieldlands. As she opened her sapphire eyes, she was looking up, noticing her surroundings. The look of wild Starly flying across the field and the breeze made her brush a little. Looking across, she could see the wild Bidoof walking around, looking for berries. Getting up, she winced in pain as she noticed her left leg was a little out of it. Landing on the ground, she turned around as she noticed that the attacks from the wild Pokémon were so superficial, the attacks injured her. She turned to see Mack walk over with a few green plants and berries. Kneeling down, Mack stretched her leg as he went to use ancient medicine to help heal Leona's wounds.
"Where are we?" asked Leona, looking at Mack as he was working on her injury. Mack shook his head as he turned to her, "We are located in Hisui, or as your modern peeps call it, Ancient Sinnoh."
"Hisui?" asked Leona, scratching her head as she was looking at the area, "I have read it in the history books, but never expected to be here. That means those Pokémon…"
"Are Alpha Pokémon," said Mack, "How Shockhound and Wheezer were able to control them is beyond me. They don't get along well with anyone and protect territory."
"You seem to know about Alpha Pokémon…," said Leona, looking at the gold ranger as he was finishing up. Leona's leg was now wrapped up in soft vines with a few berries squished to help ease the pain. Mack turned around as he walked to her, "Because when Drake, you and I teleported to Ancient Sinnoh, years before… the Prehistoric Pokémon were also giant enough to be classified as Alpha."
Leona nodded as she started to get up. She turned around as she looked at Mack, "So, how do we get out of here?"
"Well, I am sure if we find Shockhound, we can do it. Come on, Jubilife Village isn't far," he said.
Leona looked at Mack as she went to get up from the grassy fields. As she took a step, she winced in pain as she collapsed. Mack caught her before she could hit the ground. Wrapping her arm around his shoulder, he helped her walk. Mack turned around as he looked at her, "It's going to be a long walk. You think you can handle it?"
"As long as we can try to get there," said Leona.
Mack nodded, "Good. I will regret it if you couldn't escape. It's my duty to protect you."
Leona grinned silently as Mack continued to help her through the Obsidian Fieldlands, heading east toward Jubilife Village.
Meanwhile…
"Wow… all of this fog!"
After ten minutes of going through the foggy area of the Oreburgh Mine by crawling on the floor, Roark was able to find the control room from the Oreburgh Mine. Opening the door, he noticed three computers with fans. As he sat down, he began to press a few buttons, trying to reverse the fog. As the fog was reversing back out into the sky, he turned around as he noticed a few people knocked out. Roark looked up as flashes of energy surrounded him. Relieved, it was Drake and the others.
"Wow," said Joe, "You can still smell the fog."
"Yeah, it was that dense," said Roark, looking at the screen. He turned around as he looked at the screens, "At least the fog has been reversed. I am afraid though we will have to postpone our excavation for another day."
"That's annoying," said Grayson, sighing, "So, what now?"
"Simple," said Roark, looking at the security cameras, "Figure out who was responsible for the fog. We know it's Ferro Fett's group. But, the main questions are who was involved and their plan."
"Exactly," said Drake, grabbing a chair, "Let's figure it out."
Meanwhile, back in Hisui…
Mack carried Leona on his back as they stumbled down the mountain range, noticing the fields getting brighter. Upon seeing an entrance, created by wood, Mack dropped Leona carefully as the two looked around. The village was peaceful with people walking around. Mack turned around as he looked at Leona.
"Jubilife Village? What a beautiful town," said Leona, "To see history like this… is pretty cool. How did you know about this place?"
"Studied," said Mack, looking around, "Like I said, Ancient Sinnoh was the epicenter of where Arceus, Diagla, Palkia, you name it. I did some readings while I was at the museum."
"Wait…," said Leona, looking at Mack, "You mean to tell me…"
"Yes. If you remember, Arceus created the universe of Pokémon. If you think about it, Diagla and Palkia control time and space. Their locations in the Coronet Highlands were amazing," said Mack, walking with her. Leona turned around, stumbling as Mack held her, "So, you mean to tell me we are at the origins of existence with Pokémon?"
"Correct. Long before Pokémon accepted humans," said Mack.
"And I plan on destroying you in this time frame!"
Leona and Mack turned around as they heard explosions. As explosions surrounded the homes, villagers were escaping as Shockhound laughed. Shockhound stepped forward as he stretched out his saber, "And once that bomb goes off… your ranger friends and Drake won't be able to save you. We can go back in time to search for the others."
"So, Wheezer's fog… was able to teleport us back?" asked Leona.
"Yes," said Shockhound, laughing, "And… if we destroy you two, we can rewrite history to get the crystals before you colorful spandex trainers ever lay your hands on them!"
"You can't just rewrite history so you can have your way!" Mack shouted.
Shockhound laughed as he released a yellow lightning bolt, setting a house on fire, "Make me…."
Mack turned around as he went to Leona, muttering, "I'll stop Wheezer. You find a place to hide."
"But-," said Leona.
"Don't!" Mack turned around to shout, "Go!"
Leona gulped as she went to drag herself to a hiding spot. Mack turned around as he went to grab a saber that was lying on the ground near one of the main buildings. He turned around as he went to strike Shockhound and Wheezer. Mack turned around to strike with full force. Shockhound dodged it as Wheezer floated across. Wheezer released a green aura as an Alpha Alakazam arrived with Alpha Bibarel. Behind Mack, a loud roar from an Alpha Luxray arrived. Shockhound laughed as he looked at them, "Hahahaha, this is too easy! Three wild Pokémon under Wheezer's control… Luxray, Bibarel and Alakazam… finish him."
Mack turned around as Alakazam released a psychic attack. Mack squirmed as his saber dropped to the floor. Mack squirmed as Alakazam paralyzed his whole body. Bibarel jumped up, biting Mack in the arm. Mack squirmed as his teeth gnawed into the left arm, leaving bloody marks. Mack squirmed as Luxray released a thunderbolt. Yellow bolts surrounded Mack as he landed on the ground, knocking himself on the dirt. Shockhound and Wheezer laughed as they looked at the injured gold ranger.
"This is pretty easy… we don't even need to send Mooks," said Shockhound, "Once we burn him down, we can burn this whole town down. Ferro Fett won't even need to come back to the future!"
"ARGH!"
Shockhound turned around, noticing Wheezer in pain. Wheezer groaned as he noticed a green sticky blob around him. Shockhound turned to see Leona with a pitchfork. She turned around to see Wheezer face her. As smoke went to erupt, Leona stabbed the fork in one of Wheezer's gas pipes. Wheezer screamed as a black and purple aura erupted him. Leona gasped as a blue and white explosion appeared. Leona and Mack screamed as they teleported.
Screaming, Mack and Leona landed on the ground. Leona turned around as Mack looked up, noticing where they were. They were in a more modernized area. Leona turned around as she noticed that they were near the Oreburgh Mine. Mack turned around as he looked up. Leona turned around as she helped him out.
"How did you...," asked Mack, "… get us out?"
"Simple. If Wheezer's fog was able to teleport us back in time, it made super sense to stab him at the source. He brought us back," said Leona.
"Leona! Mack!"
The two rangers turned around as the other four rangers arrived. Lisa stood horrified as she looked at Mack's arm, seeing the blood drip down, "What happened to you?"
"It's a long story," said Mack, "Right now, there's a bomb somewhere."
"Bomb?" asked Joe, "We didn't see anything peculiar."
Atticus reached over as he looked at his Dino Com, "Hey, Drake. Is there a bomb?"
"I took care of it already," said Drake, over the intercom, "It looked like Wheezer tried to initiate an inter dimension bomb to blow up Dino Paradise. I was able to disarm it."
Joe took a deep breath as he looked at the others. Lisa, finally wrapping up Mack's arm, turned around as Wheezer and Shockhound arrived. Kyland, Grayson and Atticus stood forward as Leona turned to them.
"How dare you try to rewrite Sinnoh's history?" asked Leona, "All for the crystals!"
"Don't worry… it's only a matter of time," said Shockhound, grinning. He turned around as Wheezer grinned. Wheezer laughed as a black and blue device appeared. He pressed the button. Within a few minutes, nothing happened. Wheezer looked up as he tried again. Nothing happened. Kyland laughed as he looked at them, "Sorry, but it looks like you've been had. Drake disarmed it."
"Damn it!" yelled Shockhound.
"Now, time to take out the trash," said Leona, "Let's go team!"
The seven rangers stood together as they stretched out their Fossil Chargers, "Fossil Chargers, energize!"
Pressing the button on the Fossil Chargers, their Energy Crystals charged, channeling their crystals into the charger. The seven rangers did their dance, spinning around as they inserted their chargers into their morphers.
Fossil Chargers, Energize!
Spinning or pulling the lever, the rangers struck their morphers, "Unleash the Power!"
Releasing their Prehistoric Pokémon, the rangers transformed into their suits. The seven rangers stood together to strike.
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Armaldo! Dino Charge Black!"
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
"Omastar! Dino Charge Aqua!"
"Poké Rangers… Dino Charge!"
Shockhound stretched out his saber. In flashes of green light, the Mooks arrived to strike the rangers down. Except for Mack, the six rangers took out their Fossil Blasters and dragged them along their right arm.
"Dino Armor, engage!"
Immediately, their personal weapons arrived, ready to strike the Mooks. Mack withdrew his Golden Amber Saber from behind as he went to strike.
Grayson and Joe jumped up, flipping forward as they dodged the first wave. Joe turned around as he struck them with the Armaldo Blaster. He turned around as he did a slide, shooting more of them as they landed on the ground. He spun around, releasing bursts of energy, shooting more of them down. Grayson turned around, shaking his head as he spun around, kicking a few of them in the stomach. Immediately, Grayson reached for his belt as more were coming toward them. He took out a lime charger and pressed it. A green aura surrounded his Kabutops Slasher.
"X-Scissor!"
Making a giant X across the area, the Mooks turned around as they were all hit, exploding into pieces. Grayson grinned as he landed on the ground. Joe and Grayson struck a pose with their weapons as the last Mook fell.
"You done!" Joe shouted.
Next, Atticus and Kyland were fighting the Mooks in their area. The Mooks squirmed as they released green beams of energy. Atticus blocked it with his Carracosta Shield as Kyland hid from behind. He then took out his Omastar Cannon, disengaging the safety lock as he set it to full automatic.
"Spike Spray!"
Instantly, the Mooks were all pierced by rounds of spikes. Screaming, the Mooks were running away from the group. Atticus turned around as a blue aura surrounded his shell, "Razor Shell!"
Spinning it, the Carracosta Shield slaughtered each of the Mooks. The Mooks landed on the ground as Atticus grabbed it. He turned to Kyland, nodding in response. He then turned around as more Mooks did a surprise attack. Atticus and Kyland landed on the dirt as more were coming. However, a flash of pink light arrived as the Mooks were hit. Atticus noticed it was Lisa and her Bastiodon Drill, using Flash Cannon. She turned around as she stabbed the ground. Immediately, a Drill Run attack occurred, knocking the Mooks down.
"Easy!" shouted Lisa.
Leona and Mack charged through with their weapons, fighting Shockhound and Wheezer. Wheezer went to strike with his gas, only for Leona and Mack to dodge it. Leona stretched out her Tyrantrum Fang. A red aura surrounded it as she charged right toward Wheezer.
"Mach Punch!"
Punching Wheezer at a fast speed, he fell and landed on the ground. Next, Shockhound was struck by Mack's saber. A yellow aura surrounded his saber as he went to swing across. Shockhound tried to follow his lead.
"Thunder Fang Slash!"
Swinging his saber, a yellow bolt of energy appeared with yellow and electric teeth emerged. Shockhound yelled as he spun around the ground, injured by the attack. Wheezer turned around as an aqua aura surrounded Kyland's weapon.
"Omastar Cannon, Spike Cannon!"
Releasing three spikes from his cannon, explosions surrounded Wheezer. Wheezer screamed as he rolled along the ground. Leona turned around as she looked at Kyland, "Thanks, Ky. We'll finish it!"
She took out her Dino Spiker Charger, "Dino Spiker, Energize!"
The weapons were thrown up in the air. The Tyrantrum Fang stood as the base. The Carracosta Shield was placed on top of the Tyrantrum Fang. The Armaldo Claw and Kabutos Slasher connected to either side of the blaster. The Basitodon Drill connected to the end. The Dino Spiker charger went inside the front of the blaster. A golden energy surge surrounded it as Leona grabbed it.
"Dino Spiker, Horn Drill!"
As the spiker was thrown, it turned into a horn as it started spinning. Tyrantrum, Armaldo, Carracosta, Kabutops and Bastiodon emerged out as it pierced the armor. The drill went straight through the armor and through his body. Wheezer screamed as his whole body ignited in flames. Shockhound stood in shock as he watched what he saw. The seven rangers stood together as Shockhound turned to his left arm, "Maracturne!"
Without saying a word, a green energy beam struck from the sky, hitting Wheezer's corpse. Wheezer grew ten times bigger, screaming and releasing gas. Leona, Atticus and Lisa stretched out their chargers.
"Tyrantrum…"
"Carracosta…"
"Bastiodon…"
"I Choose You!"
The three chargers were thrown. Flashes of light appeared as Bastiodon, Carracosta and Tyrantrum arrived.
"Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
As they threw the three Fossil Chargers, their zords appeared via ranger color. Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Blue and pink energy surrounded Bastiodon and Carracosta as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. The Carracosta and Bastiodon jumped up. Carracosta shrunk its head, arms, legs into the shell. The tail transformed into the right hand of the Megazord. The Bastiodon raised its tail as it connected to the left side with its legs and arms shrinking, forming the left hand and arm of the Megazord. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Dino Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"
With the exception of Mack, the rest of the rangers stood together with blasters in their holster, ready to strike. Before they could make a move, Wheezer released a black and grey fog. It was so thick that the rangers were unable to see. Wheezer laughed as he released blue and green beams, shooting down the Megazord. The rangers held on for dear life as they were attacked by Wheezer. Wheezer laughed as he looked at them, releasing purple gases. The gas was a bomb explosion as the rangers held on.
"They can't see through that fog," said Mack, grabbing his Fossil Charger, "Aerodactyl, I Choose You!"
Throwing the golden Fossil Charger, a golden aura surrounded it as the Aerodactyl Zord flew across. The Aerodactyl Zord flapped its wings, heading straight toward the thickness of the fog. Mack quickly managed to get into the cockpit before he couldn't see the enemy.
"Aerodynamic Change! Aero Amber Megazord!"
The Aerodactyl screamed as it swooped down. A golden aura surrounded the zord as it landed on the ground. The legs went from being bent to straight as the body was lifted. The wings folded into either side of its body as the body was now standing as a human body. The hands detached from the wings as golden arms grew out. The hands connected to the body as the head moved down to the chest. A human head appeared with a silver and black helmet that had an Amber Fossil on top. The head had green eyes.
"Aero Amber Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Flying across, the Aero Amber Megazord began to increase speed around the battlefield, eliminating the fog. The Dino Charge Megazord began to see clearly as Wheezer looked up. Releasing sludge, the Aero Amber Megazord spun across, dodging it. Golden beams struck from the Megazord, piercing Wheezer. As the Aero Amber Megazord landed on the ground, a blue aura surrounded it along with the Dino Charge Megazord.
"What in the-?" asked Leona.
"Rangers," a familiar voice said. The rangers turned around to see Drake on the screen, "You can combine both Megazords to strike him down!"
"Well," said Kyland, "I'm all for it!"
"Let's do it," said Mack, turning around.
"You do the honors, Mack!" said Leona.
Mack nodded as he turned to the screen. He struck out his Golden Amber Saber, "Great Fossil Fusion!"
The Aero Amber Megazord began to glow in a golden aura, transforming back into Aerodactyl. Swooping around, the Aerodactyl attached to the back of the Megazord. The feet shrunk in as its whole body combined to the back of the Dino Charge Megazord. The Tyrantrum head was combined with an Aerodactyl head. Golden lightning bolts surrounded the Megazord. Mack landed in the cockpit with the others. Wheezer looked at it in disgust.
"Aero Charge Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Without question, Wheezer released a blast of blue and pink energy. The Megazord dodged it by flying across. The Aero Charge Megazord released golden bolts of energy, piercing Wheezer in the stomach. Turning around, the tail of the Aerodactyl detached as it combined with the Dino Charge Saber. The tail connected to the blade as a golden aura surrounded it. The rangers withdrew their Fossil Sabers. A golden aura surrounded it.
"Aero Charge Saber! Stone Edge!"
The golden saber struck the dirt on the ground. Rocks turned into sharp stones as it combined into a cluster of stones, creating a saber. The saber of stones went through Wheezer's body. Wheezing, Wheezer fell to the ground, exploding into pieces. The Aero Charge Megazord landed on the ground.
Later that evening…
"So, time out… Wheezer was able to teleport you to Hisui… so we heard," said Joe, looking at Leona. The rangers were all sitting at the Oreburgh Museum as the museum was closed. Roark sat with them, deciding to hang at the museum a little longer while hearing about Mack and Leona's adventures.
"Yeah, and those Alpha Pokémon Wheezer had under control were brutal," said Leona, "I'm still trying to figure out how he did that."
Atticus grinned as he turned around, "I'm glad you asked. We did a readout with the fog. The fog contains certain chemicals that allow transport through time. It also served as a pheromone for Alpha Pokémon control. Wheezer also used different smogs and fogs just to get us out and in order to try to destroy them, but that was unique."
Lisa turned to Leona, "So, I wonder if the damage at Hisui never happened?"
Leona sighed as she looked at the pink ranger, "Who knows, Lisa. All I know is that I wish we had more time to explore. I would've loved to met Diagla personally."
Mack grinned as he turned around, "I think you will meet him someday."
Grayson turned to Kyland, who was already curious. Kyland grinned as he turned around to look at the others. He heard something beeping. The other rangers were also surprised as they were hearing beeping noises. Grayson turned around as he noticed something from far away. He turned around as he saw his Typhlosion looking at the alarm code next to it. Apparently, Typhlosion was looking at different codes and managed to find the right one.
"Typhlosion, don't press the button!"
Typhlosion looked confused as he accidentally pressed the arm button. Immediately, sounds erupted all over the museum. Roark forgot to mention to them that once the arm button was activated, everyone needed to leave or the alarm went right to Officer Jenny. The rangers quickly started dashing out, just before the alarm sounds got worse…

A/N: So, this was a great chapter to write! I left some details out of Hisui because I might be using it soon. However, who knows if the team will be going through it again. You are just going to have to sit and wait until next week to see what happens.
And as sadly as this sounds, this means that the summer season has ended. Hopefully, I will have more chapters out, we will see. My Fall Schedule starts next week, so let's see how it goes. Updates will hopefully be starting on Fridays next week sometime after 5pm.
