Kyle is unhappy when he learns his mother is engaged. Meanwhile, Neddie debates on whether or not to call William.

The Cleaver and Haskell families travel to Fort Lauderdale for the wedding of Bomber's daughter, Amelia. Kip runs into someone from his past, and Kyle discovers a secret about Neddie.

Kevin gets grounded for sneaking out in the middle of the night. While cleaning Kip's attic as punishment, Kevin and Kylie get into a fight and accidentally knock a whole into the attic floor.

The coffee shop is up and running, but Kyle disagrees with Freddie's tactics.

Kevin starts middle school and quickly learns how hard it is. Meanwhile, Kyle debates whether or not to quit his job at the Public Records Office and run the coffee shop with Neddie. We also get to meet Bomber's two sons, Scammer and Slicker.

A misunderstanding causes Kyle to distrust Kaleb. Meanwhile, Kevin does not want Kyle to take him back-to-school clothes shopping.

As Kyle and his children, and the Haskell's, sans Teddie, go on vacation, Kaleb begins his summer job at the country club. Kip and Teddie each meet someone at the country club.

The 1960-2015 Mayfield graduating class reunion is held. For Neddie and Kyle, it brings back painful memories, Kip and Beaver remember the good memories, and Freddie reunites with an old flame.

Neddie receives a sympathy card from his mother, which leads him and Kyle to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in a search for her.

Kyle takes his 16-year-old cousin, Kaleb, under his wing. Kevin soon becomes jealous and worries his father will stop loving him.
