The survivors stood in horror because Melon was holding a bomb that would kill them all, but the psycho only wanted one thing and that was Louis. He looked around for the young deer, but could not see him because of the hundreds of survivors. Legoshi held Haru in his arms and held her so tightly that she could barely breath, but she still felt warm and safe in his arms.
The remaining Swat soldiers dared not move against Melon because they thought about the survivors safety and the bomb that the psych had with him. "Please put the bomb down!" demanded a lion SWAT soldier, but Melon shot him between the eyes killing him instantly. The rest of the SWAT soldiers stayed where they were.
"Louis!" snarled Melon with a fang filled smile. "Don't try and I hide you know what I want!" he bellowed raising the rifle and aiming at Juno.
Louis stepped out through the crowd and stood just five feet from Melon. The villain smiled evilly at the young deer and turned the rifle toward Louis, but Juno stood between Louis and Melon.
"You monster! Leave all of us be!"
Melon only smiled at Juno, but the female wolf could tell that the villain was not smiling because of her order. "You got some guts, slut!" he cackled aiming the rifle at Juno's ribs. "Lets see what they look like." with that he cocked the rifle, but Juno stood her ground bravely.
Louis tried to push Juno away from him to protect her, but she would not budge. Melon fired his rifle, but without warning Ibuki jumped in front of Louis and Juno. The bullet struck the lion dead center in the chest causing him to fall into Louis and Juno's arms.
"IBUKI! Louis shouted is horror and shock. "Ibuki, please don't die!" he cried as blood spilled from the wound and onto Louis's hand.
"I want you to live, Louis!" groaned Ibuki closing his eyes.
Juno could tell that Ibuki had died. She turned her attention to Melon who was smiling in sorrow and anger. "BASTARD! MURDER!" she screamed with a rage.
Melon felt no sorrow for his actions as he watched Ibuki's blood spread out on the floor. Louis looked in anger as Melon praised his weapon once more and aimed it right between his eyes, but the young deer showed no fear of the psychopath. Louis was not going to let fear take him because he knew that Melon loved the smell of fear and it made his happy to see fear in his victims.
Melon was about to pull the trigger of his rifle, but Legoshi who had sneaked up behind him while he was distracted by Louis, jumped on his back and sank his fangs into his neck. "Die motherfucker!" road Legoshi continuing his attack causing Melon to drop his weapon and the bomb detonator. "Who do you think you're dealing with?!" he snarled at bit down even harder on Melon's neck.
The young wolf attacked wildly, but Melon just threw Legoshi off of him. The wolf fell to the ground hard and the villain made an attempt to grab his weapon, but Juno knocked it away and Haru grabbed the detonator. However the dwarf rabbit accidentally hit the firing switch when she grabbed it. The bombs went off and blew open the doors that kept the ghouls out.
"Everyone RUN!" shouted Free as countless ghouls moved in and started to attack, but the SWAT soldiers did what they could to hold back the ghouls.
The leading SWAT soldier told everyone to head for the docks so they could get picked up by the ferryboat. Sheila was trying to follow the others, but she ran into Jack who grabbed her and bit her on the neck. She screamed in agony at Jack continued to rip at her neck, but Free shot her in the head killing her and ending her suffering.
"I'm sorry, Sheila!" he said, having to kill the girl he had been crushing on since their first meeting.
But before Free could put down Jack, three ghouls jumped him from behind. He fought back, biting and taring into the three ghouls, but soon he was swarmed by a whole bunch of them. As he felt his stomach being ripped open, Free managed to get his arm up and placed his gun to his head.
BANG! Free took his own life.
As the ghouls continued their attack, Melon was still trying to kill Louis and Legoshi, but Juno grabbed hold of his right leg and sank her fangs into it. "Let go of my leg, Bitch!" snarled Melon as the ghouls moved toward him and his enemies.
Louis took Ibuki's knife and charged the villain, but Melon pulled his own knife and stabbed it into Louis's chest, but the deer was able to run his knife through Melon's jaw and the blade struck his brain. The villain could only smile and everything went dark. Louis had killed Melon and avenged his friend Ibuki.
Haru, Legoshi and Juno helped Louis move away from the ghouls. "We have to hurry or we'll never make it!" cried Haru as a zebra ghoul reached for her, but Legoshi kicked it away. The four friends made their way up the stairs to the second floor because they could make it to the docks from the second floor. "You'll be alright, Louis!" cried Haru putting a rag over his wound.
The deer was almost unable to walk because of his chest injury. "You must leave me!" he ordered weakly, but his friends stayed by his side.
As the four friends moved along the second floor with an army of ghouls following them a female wolf ghoul wearing a red bikini jumped out from behind a stack of boxes grabbed Juno by the left shoulder. The ghoul made an attempt to bite Juno's arm, but Legoshi hit the ghoul in the fast with his fist. The ghoul was knocked back and Louis took out his pistol and shot the ghoul in the head.
"I really hate these things!"
"You and me both, Louis!" said Legoshi as Louis shot another ghoul that got close to them.
The four friends reached the dock's gate and a SWAT soldier locked the gate behind the four friends. The friends and the rest of the survivors saw the ferryboat pulling into the dock and when boat's ramp was lowered everyone started to bord the ferry, but Louis and Juno did not join the others. Legoshi and Haru looked at their friends with confusion.
The young wolf tried to pull Louis to his feet, but the deer knocked Legoshi's away. "I wish to stay because my whole gang is dead and I won't live much longer!" grouned Louis caughing up blood.
Haru begain to cry. "We won't leave you!" she sobbed trying to take hold of the deer's blood covered hand. Louis just took his gun and put it to his head. "NO LOUIS!" screamed Haru as Legoshi reached for the gun, but he was to late.
Louis pulled the trigger and killed himself. Legoshi took Haru in his arms to comfort her, but then they turned to Juno who was still standing a few feet away from them.
"Juno, let's go before they leave without us!" ordered Legoshi as the ferryboat's horn blew. "They're about to leave!" he shouted, but Juno just stood like a stature with a look of sorrow on her face.
The shewolf then showed Legoshi and Haru them a wound that horrifide them. "That ghoul in the bikini scratched when it grabbed me!" she said sadly as she picked of Louis's pistol.
"We can help you!" cried Haru taking Juno's hand to lead her onto the ferryboat. But Juno pulled free gently and smiled at the dwarf rabbit.
"Help Legoshi and live happily with him."
Legoshi walked up to Juno with tears in his eyes. "Don't do this, Juno!" he begged with a sob. "Come with us!" he said holding out his hand.
Juno took Legoshi's hand and at first he thought she was going to come with him, but instead she took Haru's hand and placed it into his. Legoshi and Haru could tell that Juno was not going to change her mind about staying behind. They both felt sad because they had lost so much these last few days and fought to save what was left and now they were going to lose Juno.
Juno leaned forward and kissed Legoshi on the lips and he welcomed it. "I tried to make you love me, Legoshi," she sobbed with a smile. "But Haru needs you more. Go save yourselves!" she cried as the ghouls broke down the gate and was moving toward them.
With that Legoshi and Haru boared the ferryboat just as the ramp was raising. They stood at the stern of the ferry and watched sadly as Juno got ready to take her own life. As the ghouls came up to her, the lovely she-wolf pointed the gun to her head and pulled the trigger. The shot rang out and then all was quiet. They then turned to one another and hugged each other happily and warmly because they had made it, but would there be other battles with the undead and would they survive. Only Time would tell.
