Wiz: The gods of thunder may endure eternal rule, but in the ring together, they are anything but immortal.
Most people from the audiences are interested in this match and excited to see actual gods coming into the show and fighting each other to the death.
"The battle of the thunder gods starts here and now and it's gonna be good!" Monosuke commented
"I'll say, this match is going to shock our minds!" Monokuma agreed
"Good punchline father!" Monotaro said
Boomstick: The mighty Thor, prince of Asgard.
Wiz: And Lord Raiden, defender of Earthrealm.
"Thor and Raiden, we got two thunder gods who are not from their original mythologies?" Leon wondered
"Nope, they are using Thor from the comics and Raiden from the video game of Mortal Kombat." Makoto answered
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
"Thor Odinson is the god of thunder from the Norse mythology of legends, but the Thor they're analyzing is the one from Marvel Comics which he debuted his appearance since 'Journey into Mystery #83' in 1962." Nagisa noted
"As for Raiden, he's from Mortal Kombat since the very first game in 1992 and he is protector of Earthrealm." Chiaki explained
The first combatant is a large bulky man wearing some sort of armored chain mail and a red cape. He has long blonde hair and some pictures showed him having a stubble or a shaved face. He also weared a winged helmet and a hammer which it's his main weaponry and controls lightning. A few girls like Toko couldn't help but blushed at this handsome god before them.

Boomstick: In Norse mythology, Thor is the god of thunder, strength, healing, and... oak trees?
"What about oak trees?" Komaru wondered
Boomstick: Well regardless, he was badass enough to get his own comic book.
"I'd enjoying reading those comic books. I read them all the time." Masaru asserted

"He would have, but perhaps not unfortunately. Not every god is gifted to understanding languages from all animals." Shuichi answered
Boomstick: He's immune to poison, burns, and electrocution, and he can survive the heat of the Sun or even a planet-bursting explosion. Well, I guess that's what happens when God bangs the Earth.
Nearly everyone were shocked that Thor can survived all of that and still lives.
"I believe we have ourselves another powerful combatant to be featured in Death Battle!" Kiyotaka pointed out
"Hell yeah! This thunder god is one destructive son of a bitch!" Mondo added
Wiz: While Thor is not invulnerable, he is augmented by his godly status and a fraction of the all-powerful Odin Force sealed within Mjolnir, his enchanted hammer.
The weapon they see him holding was a small hammer, which made most of them disappointed.
"Oh come on dude! He's fighting with a hammer that small?" Leon complained
"I expected more." Yasuhiro agreed
"Hold that comment after the demonstration first." Nagisa suggested
"You nimcompoops are really underestimating Mjolnir." Monaca asserted
Boomstick: That's his weapon? That thing is way too tiny! I mean, if he was the god of mending fences or something I guess I could say-
They watched to see Thor using Mjolnir to smash apart the Rainbow Bridge which created a huge explosion in the process.
Boomstick: WHOA! Oh shit! Never mind!
"Okay! I take back EVERYTHING of what I said about the hammer." Leon exclaimed, changing his mind
"Me too man! The hammer is FULL of surprises, I can't even imagine the power it holds." Yasuhiro exclaimed too
"I would go CRAZY for that hammer!" Akane shouted
"The hammer is quite sufficient alas the destruction it causes is oddly satisfying." Byakuya commented

Wiz: And if it were any larger, it would be too heavy to wield.
"I wonder why they made the hammer to be small?" Mahiru wondered
"Yeah, shouldn't it be bigger so it can hit people or some things from farther away." Hiyoko questioned
"No, it shouldn't be because making it bigger will only add more weight to it." Peko answered
Boomstick: So it's not the size of the hammer, it's how he uses it!
"That's true. There are some specific weaponry out there in fiction where the size of a powerful weapon matters not." Kokichi pointed out
Wiz: It was forged by dwarves using the core of a dying star, which went supernova and killed all the dinosaurs.
"Now that's fucking sick man!" Mondo exclaimed
"How interesting. The star core must be unique and a rare material to find." Imposter noted
"Aww... I can just IMAGINE the kind of invention baby I constructed for using that kind of material!" Miu remarked
"Poor dinosaurs... Gonta wish some dinosaurs are alive after supernova." Gonta frowned
Boomstick: Yeah, forget anything that I said earlier. I'm liking the dino-slaughtering hammer. Where can I get one?
"I want to get one too!" Akane exclaimed
Wiz: Mjolnir can only be wielded by Thor.
Boomstick and Akane: Aww!
"The most major fact about Mjolnir is it can't be wielded by anyone. You must have a pure of heart hence embracing humility, caring more about others than yourself, showing compassionate and having integrity in order to wield Mjolnir." Nagisa explained
Wiz: Although there is a work-around. Red Hulk once carried the hammer into space because Thor was still holding onto it, which may be one of the dumbest technicalities ever.
"Let me get this straight, if Thor is holding on to the hammer and I grab onto it, would I be able to use his hammer against him?" Akane asked
"If you consider a technicality, then I say yes. However, it does sound hilarious when you're making him hit himself with his own hammer." Nekomaru answered

"Mawhahahahaha! The power of the gods are truly extraordinary!" Gundham added
"Naturally, but just because he is god of thunder with amazing powers does not mean he is invincible." Sonia noted
Boomstick: He also has some control over the earth. He can make earthquakes that span entire continents.
"Creating earthquakes to destroy continents are insane." Leon assured
"I hope the people who were under attack from the earthquakes are okay." Chihiro asserted
"I have know Vegeta to be a formidable strong warrior, but Thor, another strong warrior, one is who a thunder god, I am astounded by the powers he possessed." Sakura commented

Wiz: Thor has fought and defeated many of the most powerful warriors in the Marvel universe. He's mastered enough martial arts to box Captain America to a standstill and has even overpowered The Hulk.
Most of the audiences were impressed by Thor's amazing feats. Sakura and Tenko respected him of learning martial arts to match Captain America in hand-to-hand combat while Gonta, Nekomaru, Kaito, Mondo and Chihiro were mostly amazed by defeating the giant green creature.
"Even though he is degenerate thunder god, he's no stranger to learning martial arts to fight against heroes and villains who prefer fighting fist to fist." Tenko commented
"Precisely, especially when he's fighting Mr. Jolly Green Goliath!" Kokichi added
"Heh, that Hulk guy is the REAL deal!" Nekomaru noted
Wiz: Although, in the past, he could lose his powers when separated from his hammer.
"He loses his powers for being separated from his hammer?! Super lame!" Aoi said
"So exploitable if his opponent is pure of heart and smart enough to figure out his connections with Mjolnir and take it off his hands then he will lose his will to fight." Makoto noted
Boomstick: Which is pretty stupid, considering his main method of attack is throwing the damn thing.
"Throwing Mjolnir and it's coming back is like using it as if it was a boomerang." Kyoko asserted
"Ironically, I don't think it's stupid at all since he using some form of telekinesis to summon it back to him." Makoto avowed
Wiz: But through some convoluted magic absurdity, this is no longer a problem. In fact, he has no specific physical weaknesses.
"I take it doing any kind of physical damage don't mean jack to him!" Genocide Jack noted
"If Thor was real, he'd one shot every boxer who tries to throw a punch at him including me of course." Juzo assured
Wiz: Though he suffers from a superiority complex. Arrogant and eager to fight, he often ignores even the most perceptible risks.
"Arrogant to a fault, which can unfortunately lead him to failure if he's overconfident." Korekiyo clarified
"Nyaha! He does have a complex of being a god but unlike Thor, Atua is not an arrogant god and I find him to be more divine than him." Angie added
Boomstick: I like him!
"I find him to be okay to me." Mahiru stated
"Okay? I said he's the most baddest fucker out of all the gods I've witnessed with my own eyes." Kurokuma commented
Thor hits a Frost Giant with Mjolnir, knocking him into an icy wall.

Thor Odinson from Marvel Comics is a powerful thunder god who is a force to be reckoned with and only a few characters from his world can match him and stand in his way, but few students and teachers who are talented fighters, definitely NOT the best idea to stand up to him. Leon, Yasuhiro, Mondo and Korekiyo like Mjolnir and Akane and Gonta would want to wear his Belt of Strength. Himiko and Gundham like his godly powers and be honor to master them under their talents.
The next combatant is a tall lanky man wearing a predominately white robes and a blue vest. His face is shadowed by a straw hat and his eyes glow a bluish-white with no pupils visible. He has a wise and strategic nature and also a flow of electricity surrounding himself.
RAIDEN
(Cues: Paratoe - Mortal Kombat Theme [Metal Version])
Wiz: According to Japanese legend, Raiden is the god of thunder and storms who, when angered, devours the stomachs of children as they sleep.
Nearly everyone were shocked and horrified in fear for hearing a legend of Raiden devouring the stomachs of children which also made some grossed out.
"I think I just threw up a little." Aoi said, feeling all green
"Me too. God, now I'm going to have nightmares after this." Yasuhiro assured
Boomstick: Mmm, child haggis. Just like Mom used to make.
"He CANNOT be serious!" Yuta fumed
"I swear, just hearing him talk all kind of nonsensical bullshit makes me want to kick the shit outta him." Natsumi commented
Boomstick: Well, whenever he's had his fill of defenseless, sleeping children, I guess he decided to protect the Earth from evil.
"I consider it a different story, since there are multiple variations of Raiden and the one they're analyzing is the one from Mortal Kombat." Kyoko noted

"Right, they did mention and show us Shao Kahn back in the second episode." Kaito remarked
Boomstick: He's a master of several fighting styles, and amps them up with powerful electric attacks. He sometimes wields a wooden staff, but generally prefers his fists.
"That's right! Who needs staffs when I rather let my fists and legs do all the talking!" Akane exclaimed
"I couldn't possibly agree more, fighting with some weaponry is practically dishonorable." Gozu agreed
Wiz: From the mobile kicks of Tae Kwon Do to the anti-armor combat of jujitsu, Raiden's wide variety of fighting styles complement each other perfectly to take down any kind of opponent.
"He is a fearsome thunder god with a reputation of mastering multiple martial arts known to man." Sakura commented
"Tae Kwon Do sounds awesome to learn too. In fact, mastering just Neo-Aikido wouldn't be enough for me either." Tenko added

Boomstick: Not to mention, when finishing his foes, he discharges so much electricity into them that they combust.
They watched Raiden channeling electricity into his opponent's head that they exploded.
"Kyaaaaaaaah!" Mikan screamed
"Damn! That is fucking sick to watch!" Kazuichi exclaimed
"Really? I think it's awesome! It's like pumping so much air into a balloon until it bursts." Monokuma noted
"Hold on, do we even know if both of their own lightning can harm each other?" Tsumugi questioned
"That's a good question. It depends whether or not they have some resistance to lightning or be immune to them." Chiaki stated
Boomstick: The sheer power of these lightning attacks apparently overload his brain, causing him to spout out random gibberish in mid-attack.
Raiden uses his Electric Fly on Jax while speaking in a random language which made some of the audiences laughed a bit.
"What the hell kind of gibberish language was that?!" Kaito wondered
"I can't comprehend the language, but I would say it's Yue Chinese... I think." Chiaki stated

Few of the audience were intrigued about the ethereal energy.
Boomstick: And like any other thunder god, Raiden has all sorts of control over the weather and lightning.
"Very similar to what Thor can do to with the weather and lightning." Kazuo noted
Wiz:Raiden has so much power he can even achieve scientifically impossible things, like channeling electricity through insulated wood.
"What?! I didn't even know that's possible!" Keebo exclaimed as well as some other audiences
"When you're a god, it's possible. Plus, I wouldn't doubt Thor doing the same thing." Kokichi replied
Boomstick: Haha, take that, physics!
"I'm with Boomstick on this, magic is better than doing physics any day!" Himiko agreed

Wiz: He is one of the most powerful characters in the Mortal Kombat universe, and has successfully defended Earth for centuries. He eventually became the all-powerful Elder God of Earthrealm, but relinquished this power in order to protect the people of Earth.
"Why would he give up that power if he is still protecting Earthrealm?" Nekomaru asked
"Because that power will corrupt him if he chooses to take it, so he instead discards it and protects the people of Earth without harming them." Chiaki explained
"That makes sense, having too much power can potentially cause the user to show their darker side and that's side effect." Nagito added
Boomstick: Wait, what? That doesn't make any sense.
Wiz: While he is an immortal, formless god, he is not indestructible and has limits. In order to fight among others, he must take a form susceptible to mortality.
"Even though he's a thunder god made by ethereal energy, he still must be abide by the rules to put his life in harm's way." Kyoko noted
Boomstick: But he still retains all of his godly powers and is tough enough to effortlessly smash through solid concrete.
"Impressive I say, it takes some training to build up the body physically." Nekomaru stated
Wiz: Through his numerous success in defending Earth against impossible odds, Raiden has proved his greatest attribute to be his leadership and wisdom in battle. He is a cunning and daring strategist, willing to make whatever sacrifices necessary to achieve victory.
Some of the audiences didn't like the sound of sacrificing when it comes to friends, but then again, when the three classes were in the past killing games and the culprit gets caught, then they must be sacrificed in order for the rest of the survivors to keep on living and survive the killing game. Sonia admired Raiden's wisdom and wished to learn more from him and Kyosuke respect his leadersh
Boomstick: Like this guy! That guy! And all of these guys! Raiden: a physical example of sacrificing others for the greater good.
"Sacrficing those I called friends, I would be unworthy of the tile "Supreme Overlord of Ice"." Gundham said
Raiden: Hehehe... sorry.
Raiden was a impressive martial artist thunder god and worthy protector of Earthrealm that most of the audiences can respect him for that, but didn't like the fact of him sacrficing his allies in order to save Earthrealm. Sakura and Tenko liked his special moves and interested in the fighting styles he specialized in.
Wiz:Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!

Thor stands in an empty field. Then Raiden appears in a shower of electricity. Both take on their fighting stances.
Only one thunder god will reign supreme.
FIGHT!
(Cues: Acid Rain - Liquid Tension Experiment)
Raiden shoots two bolts of electricity as he moves away. Thor effortlessly blocks them, then throws Mjolnir. Raiden disappears and Thor's weapon comes back to its owner. Raiden then appears behind Thor and unleashes a combo, then uppercuts Thor in the air where he continues his assault. Raiden then teleports and attacks from multiple angles, managing to stay ahead of his opponent, before throwing Thor to the ground and knocking him away with Vicinity Blast. Thor hits the ground, then stands back up.
"Damn! What an attack!" Leon exclaimed
"Oh please! That attack was insufficent against Thor." Byakuya assured
Thor: Have at thee!
Thor uses Mjolnir to summon lightning.
Thor: Mighty Spark!
He fires a blast of lightning at Raiden, but he manipulates it for his own and rebounds it. Thor then stops it with Mjolnir and jumps toward a tree, uprooting it, then punches it. It flies toward Raiden, who disintegrates it with a blast of electricity.
"I'll admit it was cool to stop an incoming tree." Kokichi commented
Thor then slams Mjolnir against the ground, summoning an earthquake, which causes Raiden to stumble. Afterward, Raiden jumps, then flies away. Thor accepts it as a challenge and flies toward him. They rush at each other and collide, summoning a massive discharge of electricity.
All of the audiences stared at such an incredible shockwave clash.
Thor has kicked Raiden with both of his feet which sends him hurtling back into the side of a mountain wall, but he recovers in mid air and starts running on the ground.
Thor throws Mjolnir again, but Raiden teleports away, causing Mjolnir to hit the mountain before returning. Raiden resumes running, then, knowing Thor is coming right towards him, turns around and fires two electric bolts while jumping.
"Seeing Raiden fighting with electricity means he's more reliant on it." Hajime stated
"Plus, Thor is way stronger than him, so he lacks the strength to fight back." Nagito added
"T-That's not to mention that, Raiden's electrical powers aren't doing any good either." Mikan noted
The Prince of Asgard easily knocks both aside and then kicks Raiden into the air, followed by a powerful blow with his knee. Raiden flies downward, first hitting a rock formation with his back, then lands to the ground. But Thor suddenly lands to the ground, causing Raiden to stumble. Thor then grabs onto Raiden, headbutts him, then slams him to the ground.

He jumps back into a safe distance and summons a tornado.
"Looks like a storm is brewing." Miaya said
"This battle is coming closer to its end." Gozu added
Raiden disappears, reappearing inside the tornado. He fires a barrage of bolts, which catches Thor off-guard, who is unable to block them all. Raiden then uses a huge discharge of electricity, stunning Thor.
"I guess I was wrong about Raiden's electricity not doing any good." Mikan replied, taking back her comment
Raiden teleports to Thor, who is still stunned, but as Thor recovers and is about to attack, Raiden uppercuts him far into the air. Raiden follows Thor and the two clash with a flurry of blows, ending with Raiden grabbing Thor and unleashing his Shocking Touch... which has no effect on Thor.
Thor: Away with you!
He slams Raiden downward, who falls to the ground.
"Here it comes!" Komaru assured
Thor channels massive amount of electricity in his hammer which he spins at supersonic speeds.
Thor: Feel Heaven's wrath!He summons a massive electric blast to fire at Raiden. Raiden sees it coming, and in the aftermath, has absorbed all of its electrical power. Raiden then flies upward with Electric Fly.
Everyone inched closely to see what happens next.
Thor moves out of the way and swings Mjolnir below Raiden's stomach, oblierating his lower body.
Nearly everyone were shocked to see that brutal hit.
"Holy shitballs..." Mondo and Leon exclaimed
"That was..." Kazuichi spoke
"Fucking extreme! The hammer is absolutely OP as it looks." Monokuma answered, cutting off Kazuichi's comment
Thor grabs Raiden, takes him above the clouds, and throws him upward in the air.
Thor: Farewell!
The thrown Raiden leaves the earth and flies through space until reaching the Sun. Raiden then melts away due to the temperature of the Sun, causing a tiny shockwave on the Sun's surface.
K.O!
RESULTS
Those who voted for Thor clapped for him, while only eleven voters of Raiden clapped for him for trying.

Boomstick: That seemed a bit overkill. I liked it!

Wiz: Raiden is a clever and versatile combatant, but was completely overpowered by Thor's strength.
"He was smarter no doubt, but was ultimately outmatch by Thor's insane godlike strength." Shuichi commented
"In order words, brawn beats brains." Kaito added

-Consistently Defeats Loki, Who is Clever like Raiden
Boomstick: It also doesn't help that Raiden's main weapon, electricity, was completely useless. Add in Thor's hammer and game over.
Wiz: Remember, Mjolnir was forged using the core of a dying star. When a star dies, it collapses into a super-condensed neutron star. Even the smallest portion of this star can weigh 1,000,000 tons. Raiden stood little chance against a blow like that.
Everyone jaw-dropped for a small hammer to be that so heavy.
"You're fucking kidding me! That's how much Mjolnir weighs!?" Fuyuhiko exclaimed
"I... never knew that hammer would be sufficently powerful." Peko replied
"Damn straight! One small whack is all it takes to crush or destroy something completely!" Kazuichi assured
Boomstick: Well, at least Raiden finally found his place in the sun.
Some laughed at the pun while the rest groaned
Wiz: The winner is Thor.
The episode was really fun to watch and it made some of the audiences excited to see two different thunder gods colliding which made it one of their favorite personal episode so far. Now for the next episode.
Boomstick: Next time on Death Battle!
They hear some epic music before showing a strong swordsman with blonde hair and wearing a green tunic and he wielding a legendary-looking sword and a shield as he defeats a large number of enemies as his name shows.

Then the music changes and they see an advanced city and they see yet another blonde haired man with a spiky hairstyle and wore a sleeveless outfit and wielded a colossal single edged blade as he fought against powerful enemies with his name also shown.

Chiaki was all thrilled to see them in action as Kazuo played the next episode.
