Izumi woke up the next day and at first was confused at the change in surroundings which became cleared when she remembered where she was. She stretched and got out of the bed and went to bathroom to freshen up.
She came out of the bathroom in her workout clothes and went outside and started running around the mansion. After finishing her 200 laps in under 15 minutes, she got on the patch of grass on the garden and started to stretch her body to work out the kinks of her body. After stretching, she started to go through the katas of her fighting style which she created using every other style she knew.
She just had finished her katas when she heard the sound of alarm and saw old rangers running outside and they called her. She ran towards them while her suit flowed through her body and up to her neck she was in her suit. After hearing from them that there was an attack in the town, she just nodded as the suit and completed itself and her car came out in the front. The rangers suddenly saw the car change into the same motorcycle they saw her riding on when they first met. She asked one of them to get on so they can get going. It was decided that Bridge will go with Adam on the Overdrive Black ranger's bike, Tori will Ninja streak her way there, Kira will ride with Izumi and Xander will teleport there using Magic.
When they arrived at the district, they saw Fluriuous and his chillers trying to build some wall with stones. Adam started the attack by destroying the wall.Izumi and other rangers started to attack the chillers with ferocity and few mixes of sarcasm. Izumi used her blasters to finish of her batch 25 chillers. When the chillers were they ran towards Fluriuous who growled at them and then disappeared in flurry of snow.
Izumi was seen after few hours helping Bridge, Adam and Hartford to fix the morphers of Overdrive rangers. Hartford ranted about not having the tech to repair the damage done to the connection between rangers and grid.
" I have the tech but I need a robotic body for my A.I. Athena to repair it", butted in Izumi after Hartford had finished his rant.
"Well, I know where to get the body", said Adam.
" You are talking about Alpha", said Izumi.
After getting confirmation, she told him to tell others to get ready for departure in half an hour as she has to fix something.
After sometime when the old rangers and Izumi where passing through the living room to go for their retrieval mission they heard Dax saying that the Overdrive rangers were quitting the operation.
They only stared at the Overdrive rangers as they couldn't believe that.
"Well, it is a good thing, you all are not fit to be power rangers", said Izumi bluntly.
"What do you mean?", asked Will furiously.
"As I said you are not fit to be rangers because you don't get the most important part of being a ranger", said Izumi.
"What is that?", asked Dax.
"Fighting for the good of people without receiving any recognition and to keep going forwards even if you got a road bump.", said Izumi.
After that she started to give instances like they demorph infront of people after they complete a fight showing themselves to the world whereas their identity should remain secret, they do not train in any form of fighting and are over reliant on their powers and giving up right now because they couldn't fight as they are connection to grid is broken and the return of old rangers who are here just to help them out until they recieve their ranger powers back. They could not argue to that as what Izumi said was but they were stubborn so they still left living the old rangers disappointed as they thought they will change their mind.
The old rangers and Izumi then went to the cars leaving behind the topic. Boys went in the Nissan after Izumi told that she upgraded it and had all its criminal records cleared and the girls went in the Ranger mobile.
They drove to one of the warehouses in Angel Grove where the lost galaxy rangers hid the alpha 6 body after returning it to earth.
They got inside the warehouse to find the box when Bridge used his presence sensing powers to save time when he alerted the group about a group of chillers who attacked them after knowing that their cover was blown. Xandar as usual tried to use his infamous failed method of doing the Xander talk which got him kick in the gut which started the fight.
Izumi was surrounded by ten chillers after calculating in her head she ran towards two of the chillers and jumped and did a split kick with enough force that sent sailing and crash into two other chillars. She ducked under a punch sent towards her and punched him in the gut sending him flying over to the wall were he broke his back bone and disappeared. She then sweeped another one's leg which caused him to fall down where she kicked at its jaw and destroyed the throat.
She then took out her sword and killed the remaining with a single slash.
After destroying her batch she ran towards others where they got together and found the crate with lightning bolt symbol.
They took it back to the base where Bridge , Adam, Izumi and Andrew worked together fixing it up and giving it a fe upgrades.
After it was woken up, it was sent to morphing grid, to fix the connection for Overdrive rangers. After doing that Izumi had some other work to do so she said she will be busy for a few hours and not to contact her.
Izumi was sitting in a cafe waiting for Rita to talk to her to clear out something which had been troubling her. After 15 minutes of waiting Rita arrived and sat infront of her.
"What do you want to talk about that it cannot wait for when we start your lessons?", asked Rita.
"I want to know the truth about my origins because my DNA matches with Tommy sensei but not with my mother and I can feel that you know something about it so please tell me the truth." , said Izumi with a sad expression looking at Rita dead in the eye.
"You want to know the truth,well you are the daughter of Tommy Oliver and Kimberly Hart and the granddaughter of Zordan and mine.", replied Rita with love,affection and sadness look towards Izumi.
