I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.
Chapter 82
"I want to be able to have a fun fight Sasuke-San." Shikamaru listened to Naruto as he spoke, the Nara was starting to feel nervous for some reason. He did not expect the Uzumaki to unseal a throne and take a seat.
"But…" Shikamaru's eyes widened when Naruto's eyes gazed at him behind Sasuke. "We can't let ourselves be played like instruments." Naruto grinned looking straight at Shikamaru as if saying I know what you did last summer.
"What are you talking about dobe?" Sasuke asked in irritation, Shikamaru at that moment knew the plan backfired, he subtly got Temari's attention and asked her to assist him in standing upright.
"Divide and Conquer." Naruto simplified Shikamaru's three-step plan in three words while Shino landed next to his temporary teammates. "We fight, they get a nice show and tire you out. Yes you Sasuke, I don't tire. Somehow you win, they jump you and eliminate you." Naruto's grin became bigger Still locking gazes with the Nara Strategist.
"Is that not right Shikamaru?" Naruto finally directed a question to the Nara and the boy visibly deflated as he sighed.
"Troublesome." Shikamaru mumbled still pressing his side where he was stabbed twice. The wound was healed but the phantom pain and dread that crossed his psyche at the thought of dying were lifelong scars.
Sasuke slowly looked back around to Shikamaru and the Nara knew, if he had another close encounter with the Uchiha he would most probably die. The plan almost worked too but it seemed he underestimated Naruto's ability to see underneath the underneath.
"One, two, three." Naruto counted before looking back to Sasuke. "How about we remove prying eyes before we go eye for an eye?" Naruto proposed still seated on that throne like some kind of God.
"So he is the boss of you…. I thought the Uchiha..,"
"Shut your mouth." Sasuke cut Temari off like a knife and his killing intent scared her to silence. Now that Sasuke understood the plot Shikamaru knew it would come back to haunt them but the plan could still be successful if Lee and Gaara defeated Hinata.
Naruto stood up from his throne while stretching his arms and yawning with a tear escaping his eye, the throne vanished in a plum of smoke, and Without the use of a hand seal, Naruto summoned 5 clones that appeared like illusions.
"Go assist hime." Naruto said plainly and Shikamaru grimaced when the clones vanished like illusions, moving too fast for them to perceive.
"Shino, Temari we can't let him send support to…….what the hell!!" Shikamaru exclaimed before understanding dawned on him and he gave a short-lived hollow laugh. The three-man cell found themselves in a cage made up of barriers courtesy of the 4 blondes summoned earlier. They were so fast Shikamaru knew only Lee would have had a chance of perceiving their movements.
"Now what to do?" Shikamaru's eyes widened and he looked behind him at the clone leaning on the barrier inside with them. "Go boom maybe?! Mmmh it seems like the only option too." The final clone said in deep thought scratching its chin.
"Wait don't!" Shikamaru said just in time to stop Shino and Temari from attacking the clone. "Don't forget they can explode, none of us would be able to escape the blast." At Shikamaru's reminder the Aburama and Temari had horror make it to their faces.
"Troublesome blondes." Shikamaru cursed every blonde out there and then some.

A few minutes ago Sasuke would have felt anger at the feats Naruto had pulled but his eyes kept track of the five blondes easily as they moved into position to set up the barrier to capture the three Genin. Sasuke found that he had nothing to feel inadequate about and instead watched as Naruto performed the transformation technique.
The blonde henged into Shikamaru and began mimicking his voice perfectly, then came the slouched walk and lazy eyes.
"Troublesome Blondes." The transformed blonde said exactly as Shikamaru did and then turned to Sasuke. "Don't get tricked so easily again." Naruto said sticking his tongue out to the Uchiha and making said boy's eyes twitch in annoyance.
"I will be right back." Naruto vanished like an illusion but Sasuke saw how he turned on his heel at great speed and dashed into the forest and out of his sight, the Sharingan could only see as far as any Normal person's vision but just in greater detail.
Sasuke balled and loosened his left hand a few times before making a fist. Now was the time to strategize his next moves, the blonde was going to assist Hinata with Rock Lee and Gaara.
As Sasuke plotted Shikamaru and the clone holding them hostage conversed.
"Troublesome, what are you trying to accomplish?" Shikamaru questioned in his bored voice, wondering if this was him stuck in a barrier and an explosive space.
"I am sure you can take a couple of guesses." The doppelgänger replied smugly and Shikamaru let his imagination wander. The blonde could lie to Lee and get him to drop his guard before eliminating him. He could lie that the partnership between them and the Suna team had failed which could pit Lee and Gaara against each other.
"You are the strongest Naruto!" Shikamaru groaned out loud and the clone snickered in mischief.
"Thanks, tstststst." Shikamaru wondered why the clone was snickering but got his answer a second later when the clone tapped the barrier. "But this baby is soundproof." The Nara sighed as his ploy was figured out and apparently not worth the effort.
Shikamaru looked at the four conversing clones outside the barrier as they conversed, made fun, and laughed. All the clones were meant to do was place the tags in four different corners and the fuinjutsu scripts did the rest, what they were still doing in existence was up for debate.
"All of you are essentially Naruto Uzumaki are you not?" Shikamaru asked and got a nod from the suicide bomber.
"Strength stat, intelligence stat, personality stat, and all that other important stuff we share with the Original the only difference is in our chakra capacity." The clone explained still unbothered as he leaned on the red barrier.
"Troublesome blondes." Shikamaru mumbled and the blonde clone snickered again.

"This Otogakure Village your missing-nin has formed has been a torn to all our lands. Every year, my Shinobi find new atrocities running around The land of lightning and random bases of operations." The Riakage spoke of the new topic to have started before his rival's son captured 3 Genin with no difficulty and proceeded to transform into one of them.
'The boy is no ordinary Genin.' A, assessed deep in thought. He still could not under what the third Hokage was attempting with that fiasco the blonde pulled. 'What are you plotting Hiruzen?' A, wondered as he looked to Hiruzen Sarutobi. The fourth leader of Kumogakure sighted the ploy as the Third Hokage's plotting but could not understand what end it would lead to.
"As of last night at 22houndred hours, Otogakure has been deemed a none threat." Hiruzen answered the Riakage with a boast in his voice before continuing at a more serious note. Orochimaru grew interested in the topic, wondering what his old sensei was going on about and Rasa mirrored his thoughts.
"A promising Genin of the leaf village was able to find said village in rice paddies and burn it to the ground." Hiruzen missed the shock to cross one of Rasa's guards due to the snake Sanin not outwardly showing it but he was definitely shocked to hear the news.
"Go on." The Mizukage beckoned the Hokage to continue and Rasa couldn't agree more.
"As of now, I can only say that I am proud of all my Genin and their dedication to doing good." Hiruzen said with a smile and Orochimaru felt agitated, wondering if the third Hokage was speaking truthfully.
The snake Sanin at that moment began scanning all the Leaf Genin in the feed, he scanned Hinata Hyūga who fought against the intoxicated Rock Lee, he looked to Naruto Uzumaki who was hiding in plain sight, and finally at Sasuke Uchiha who stood alone with arms crossed looking ready to do something.
The Snake Sanin's eyes widened when Sasuke unfolded his arms, what caught his attention was the ring located in his left index finger.
'My weapon!!?' Orochimaru realized under his hooded appearance and then fear overtook him. All his projects, his experiments, and documents were located in the same room as that ring, could they have found his hidden safe?
"Regretfully the Fūma Clan were allied with Orochimaru and experimented on which lead to the extinction of their clan." Hiruzen 'elaborated' in a sense and convinced the other Kages that Orochimaru was to blame for the entirety of the Fūma clans extinction.
Orochimaru was angry now, what was going on? The Sanin left the Fūma Clan to look after things back in his village. What was this he was hearing that they all died?
'Sasuke Uchiha.' Orochimaru inwardly seethed at the thought of the Raven-haired boy messing with any of his things. That ring held a legendary weapon, it was supposed to be delivered to him when the attack commenced by Arashi Fūma.
"Ugh. At least you can clean up your messes." Onoki shot in, always the despicable old man.
"Now how exactly did you get the hat from Yagura." A asked the masked Kage of the mist village and the man looked away from the feeds to look at the gathered Kages.
"Ugh sorry did you say something, I was preoccupied…" The Mizukage asked the Riakage who asked the question and the buff man frowned in announce. In the Jōnin waiting station Guy shivered and looked at his eternal rival before squeezing his buttocks.
"What happened to Yagura of the Sanbi?" Rasa asked trying everything in his power to not react too suspiciously. The news of the Fūma Clan members becoming mere experiments to the Snake Sanin after joining his village. Would his people suffer the same fate if Orochimaru won and destroyed the leaf village?

Lee ducked a sword swipe aimed at his neck by leaning his head back, the taijutsu specialist took four steps back to dodge a leg sweep before he fell on his back to dodge a rising sword strike and rolled on the ground to dodge a downward katana stab.
Hinata's sword dug deep into the ground, she yanked the blade from the ground and flicked her hand to clean her blade of the dirt and grim. She narrowed her eyes and wondered what her blonde teammate was planning by transforming into Shikamaru.
The Hyūga Heiress leaned her head to the side to dodge a sand bullet aimed at her skull from behind. She could spy Gaara in the distance aiding Lee with shots aimed at her. Hinata took a breath in and decided she was going to get serious.
"Yosh! (Hiccup Hiccup)" Lee swayed on his feet and took two steps back when he stood up. He leaned his upper body forward and took three steps forward, Then two to the left, and finally gained his balance with a final wiggle. His arms are up and ready for a throw-down. "Youth is good!!" Lee bellowed in his drunken state and rushed the Hyūga heiress with great speed granted from the third gate.
Hinata's blade vanished back into her seal like an illusion and she spun her arms like she was making a circular motion and slapped Lee's outstretched right jab away before slapping him across the cheek with a loud smack and the crowd sucked in a breath. Lee's already red face added a five-finger imprint to its features and that was not the end of it.
Lee's mouth became dry instantly and he used Hinata's body as a stepping stone to run on and use it to perform a backflip. Lee had to do another impossible maneuver in mid-air to dodge the katana that unexpectedly found itself in Hinata's outstretched hand cutting his ninja sandal and cutting a deep gash on the bottom of his right foot.
"Water style………." Lee landed away from the Hyūga heiress and turned around to do his job. Hinata gave him her back as she performed a water Jutsu to block out an attack from Gaara in the form of a sand tsunami. Lee reached her in seconds still a competent fighter no matter his high.
Hinata leaped after the sand Tsunami, aiming where her water jutsu had made it muddy. She turned to face Lee and her black veiny gaze met his circular plain white. Hinata swung downward and Lee raised his left hand aiming for her wrist to knock her off balance.
"Youth!!" Lee screamed when he made contact, but in that split second, Lee caught sight of the fastest wrist movements he had ever seen in his Life. The blade was gone and Hinata's hand grabbed a hold of his countering fist. her hand that no longer held the katana came down and slapped Lee once more with a loud clap, this time on his crown.
The crowd ou'd as some snickered at the predicament Lee fell to. Hinata began spinning and Lee still in her grasp and disoriented was spun around and then thrown to the muddy sand tsunami still approaching.
Lee collided with the tsunami and Hinata reached him with a dome of chakra surrounding her. Lee reached the fourth gate and blasted himself out of the way as he sobered up and Hinata drilled herself through the sand Tsunami now dashing towards where Gaara attacked with sword in hand.
Lee prepared to Jump in for another try at the Hyūga Heiress even with his bleeding foot but heard a troublesome from behind him. Lee looked back to Shikamaru surprised before wondering why the Nara was all the way there.
"Leader-San!?" Sober Lee exclaimed in confusion and the Nara sighed again before looking to the cloudless sky and groaning.
"They are already at it with each other." The Nara said and Lee understood what was going on.
"The plan is working then!" Lee exclaimed before hopping on his uninjured foot. "But why are you here Leader-San." Lee inquired loudly still red in the face and in great pain.
The disguised clone noticed the injury and looked at Lee with great boredom in his eyes.

"You are hurt. Troublesome youth enthusiast." The fake Shikamaru Nara said with no interest before approaching Lee in a slouching walk.
"Let's take a look at that." Naruto said and a clone he had hiding around in the arena as an unsuspecting insect puffed out of existence to share the information with the rest of the clones. In the direction of the lake, they heard an explosion and faint sounds of fighting. The crowd was also laughing for some reason.
"It won't be long until they eliminate one another or catch on to the troublesome plan." Naruto still disguised said when he reached Lee. The blonde looked him in the eyes with a bored stare but Lee thought he saw interest in those eyes.
"Power down so I can give you first aid." Naruto instructed, inwardly snickering in mischief. Lee smiled softly and began powering down when he heard a tree falling in the distance. Sober Lee looked in the direction he knew Gaara and Hinata battled before looking to 'Shikamaru'.
"We have no time for that Leader-San!" Lee bellowed still hoping on one leg to keep his body active and at the ready. blood leaked profusely from his wounded leg due to the speed at which his blood traveled in his body. Naruto instead shook his head and called Rock a troublesome youth enthusiast.
"It's crazy talk troublesome youth enthusiast." Naruto mimicked Shikamaru's voice to a Tee and another random insect listening puffed out of existence before another explosion occurred and the Crowd once again cracked up in laughter while shushing one another as if saying don't tell.
"You will only be a liability if you go in like that, now power down so we get you fixed and we can take on Hinata-Chan." Naruto said with finality and Lee nodded in defeat as he powered down and felt some exhaustion hit him but he would push until the end.
"Now Sit down." 'Shikamaru' instructed as he reached for his pouch taking out something…….. the crowd leaned in once more and watched with bated breath for what would come next.

Odama laughed his ass out in hysteria as he watched the blonde that changed his life for the worse play this masterpiece of a prank. It was so funny watching how the Four Clones moved away from the barrier and summoned more clones. One group turned to the Uchiha Genin and the others stayed the blonde menace.
"I heard you spoke duck, then I saw you from behind and thought you were a duck, all that view you not even worth the mark" One clone began rapping as the others made sounds from the mouths to create a tune. "But hold that DUDE! I'm Naruto Uzumaki in the flesh, but I'm not the flesh, a chakra construct with a blast and I'm just built like that… But you a duck, Sasuke." Odama laughed again with Mango and Tango laughing along with him, revealing their missing teeth.
"Haha…HAHAHA……HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" The spectators laughed and laughed watching a disguised Sasuke clone lunge himself at the clone that dissed him and began rolling on the dirty floor while the other clones slowly stepped back and away from them.
"I'm gonna blow up in your fucking face you hear me!! Don't waste my almighty patience…yada yada yada…." !!!!The Sasuke clone threatened with a big head and a tick mark on his face. The crowd not hearing a thing but loving the act laughed again.
"I dare you to do it. I bet you don't have the guts to do it…!!!" The Naruto Clone wagered and the Sasuke Clone smirked making the Naruto clone return the gesture.
Boom!!!
The crowd laughed through the two explosions that went off and continued doing so when another clone repeated the process by starting to diss another Sasuke clone.
"Quack, quack, quack quack, how the duck cross the road……???? He didn't fly did you, he did not jump did you, splat on that lane, red dot on your face, feedback im on stage, live the best life my cliché Duckass rubbed off my shoe like a gum stain….." Another Sasuke attacked and a few seconds of ruffling and comical threatening did them all the benefit of another Majestic explosion. The crowd laughed again as they picked up lines here and there in Naruto's raps.

The Riakage was on his feet and he smirked liking the blonde boy's take on the art his brother violated every time he opened his mouth. The Riakage sat back down and watched the feed showing the Fighting Hyūga Heiress, she was strong, the reason A, did not send any of his Shinobi to these exams was due to the fact the Jinchuriki of the One tails was participating.
Each of the Genin in team 7 was giving the boy a hard time. The heiress did something to the Jinchuriki at the beginning of their attack. That was no ordinary strike she delivered to Gaara in their first encounter in the sky. He seemed to have gone sane, it was no secret the boy was mental and unstable but right now he was fighting smart.
A, looked to the Fifth Mizukage and narrowed his eyes at the man who always had his eyes on the feed that followed Sasuke Uchiha's actions. The man only said the civil war was over and that Mist wanted to open itself to trade with the rest of the elemental Nations.
The sad story he gave them was nothing none of them have not experienced before or were the cause of so he only got one man looking to be taking him seriously. Hiruzen Sarutobi was getting soft, or old age had him seeking something as impossible as an alliance between the 5 nations.
'As a military power such an alliance would make this Shinobi alliance a powerhouse and a foe to the rest of the smaller villages. The fact the five nations don't get along helps the smaller villages get under the radar.' The Riakage thought looking deep in thought.
'Kumo is a militaristic village. All our citizens are part of the Shinobi program. The leaf village gives its citizens the choice of entering or not, how would I Rule sufficiently if my citizens began wanting this power of choice?' The Riakage might be a brute but he was also smart and attentive to people's emotions. Kumo was striving, there was no way he was going to let himself be put into an uncertain future with the leaf leading the way.
'If ever it were to happen, Konohagaru would want to lead the world into this 'grand new era'!' A, snarled in anger at the obscurity of the thought of an alliance with two senile old men, a despicable gold dust user, and an unknown kage from the bloody mist.

Uchiha Itachi paid close attention to the masked Mizukage and his interest in the feed televising his little brother. The Uchiha was proud of Sasuke for making it so far but was not happy with the way he did it. Itachi also picked up on a trend when it came to his brother.
'He is easily manipulated.' First Mizuki and now Shikamaru. It seemed so easy too, like Sasuke had no qualms with acting on things without first thinking them through. He was so quick to get ready to fight Naruto but the blonde took a sit. Itachi shook his head in amusement at the blonde's antics but knew it served the intended objective.
With that act, Naruto was able to remove the hostility and instead talk things out with Sasuke. He also understood what the Nara planned, Naruto really is an unpredictable Ninja. He mislead the Nara by thinking his clones would go aid Hinata but instead had them trap all of them with a warden inside.
Itachi always knew who his most talented and dangerous student was. Itachi learned the shadow clone jutsu at a young age and knows how hard it is to perform perfectly.
The clone Jutsu Itachi learnt is the Shadow Clone Jutsu but that is a jutsu anybody could pull. To be able to perform the multi-shadow clone jutsu was another story.
When Itachi saw Naruto performing that Jutsu he accepted Naruto as Minato Namikaze's son. To perform such a jutsu at the age of 12, Itachi was quick to realize the boy was talented in ninjutsu. It wouldn't be a stretch to say the Shadow Clone jutsu paved the way for Itachi's early graduation.
The Uchiha Jōnin was sure even if the blonde failed miserably in the academy, he would pass if he demonstrated he could perform the real forbidden jutsu.
The multi Shadow Clone jutsu, Itachi only thought it fair to give the blonde the Shadow Clone: Great explosion technique. Seeing Naruto incorporate the jutsu in his act to convince Lee of a failed plan still being in motion all to make him drop his guard is just the kind of mindset a true Shinobi has.
'You would have loved this Shisui.' Itachi thought with humor as he watched the blonde send Lee to sleep with a tag and eliminate the taijutsu specialist Genin with not a shed of blood. Itachi thought he saw the boy's true self at that moment, which made Itachi realize another thing.
'Naruto placed the other three Genin inside a four-corner barrier to keep them out of Sasuke's reach while he helped Hinata.' Itachi realized in shock at the revelation, was the blonde really that talented to do so many things at once and at the drop of a hat.
Itachi wondered if his little brother would win against the blonde. Itachi saw how Sasuke's movements had become exceptionally fluent when he attacked and almost killed the Nara. Sasuke's eyes were now fully mature but Naruto had so many cards up his sleeve with the fuinjutsu, the sword of the thunder god, and probably a Rasengan but it would be too far-fetched to think the blonde could master it in three weeks.
'Try to reach out to him Naruto.' Itachi sent his prayer out there. The Hope of the Uchiha Clan felt that the real Sasuke only ever truly came out when the blonde was involved.

Fugaku frowned in disapproval of his son's actions, haste to anger and act unreasonably. He was easily manipulated and seemed to let his teammate do everything as he waited around, Fugaku's stoic frown showed its face. Sasuke simply stood there as if lost on what to do.
'You can go support your teammates and eliminate the Jinchuriki faster, what did I do differently between you and Itachi? Sasuke.' Fugaku stressed inwardly like only a parent would when they saw their child taking the wrong path in life.
The clan elder loves his son but he was seeing the boy go through the Uchiha curse of hatred and losing to it. It hurt him that his words and wisdom did not click with the boy's empathy. So ready to kill whoever is labeled an enemy, to kill your classmate's companion in cold blood, and then try to kill a classmate because he called you weak.
'You are weak Sasuke, my boy, you are weak of Will.' Fugaku thought with sadness at the thought of his son failing like Madara once did.

"Naruto-Baka…" Sakura grumbled in irritation at all the ridicule the blonde clones and raven-haired clones were putting Sasuke-Kun through. It had become more and more ridiculous with every new explosion to occur.
Boom!!!
Sakura's pink short hair blew back with the gust of wind that the new explosions caused, The clones started dying in every silly way possible. Tripping and exploding, laughing until they exploded, stomping its pinky toe into a rock and exploding, or the most recent who went to pee in a corner and released gas, said 'oops' and exploded after turning red in 'embarrassment'.
"Hahahaha…..hahaha…haha!!!!!" A random drunk civilian laughed his guts out spilling sake from his bottle as he shook. "Hohoho hohohoho hohoho..," another random old man cracked up with a big belly laugh of entertainment. Kids laughed playing with Naruto Uzumaki action figurines, Sakura felt like she was watching a Naruto Uzumaki special.
He was the talk of the whole stadium, from the Taya tags, the skills, power, or the way he moved around the battlefield as he owned it.
"I can't believe Naruto just Eliminated four people in a matter of minutes." Ino whispered seating beside Sakura so the pink-haired girl heard her.
"What do you mean four?" Sakura asked the platinum blonde who was fixated on the image screening the Golden blonde. Naruto snickered after a ninja came to collect Lee and then returned to his normal form. A smaller image keeping track of his henged clones showed the spectators how another unsuspecting insect puffed out of Existence and the fiasco going on back at the lake stopped.
"Hahaha hauuuuuuu. Hahahaha!!!" The crowd was eating it all up, Naruto stole the show. Whoever spoke of these exams would no doubt not forget to mention Naruto Uzumaki.
"Just watch Sakura." Ino replied a little annoyed at Sakura for calling her ex an idiot.

Sasuke turned around when three Shinobi from Konoha landed in front of the four-point barrier and it dropped.
"Shikamaru Nara, Shino Aburama, Temari Kazekage, due to not being able to find or act against a life-and-death situation you have all been deemed incapacitated and Eliminated by Naruto Uzumaki." As the Chunin spoke he spoke in a tone that carried finality, the decision was made from the top. All the Kages had decided on it being so.
"Naruto Uzumaki, please drop the barrier so we can escort them out of the arena?" The Chunin requested and the blonde inside the barrier nodded before having the clones outside disarm the barrier. Shikamaru looked confused but the blonde clone menace was all too happy to explain.
"I don't have to kill or beat you to a pulp to eliminate you guys. Just have you in positions that people would call an instant kill if put in a real-life scenario." The clone explained and Saluted before looking to Sasuke who was watching the whole scene with Surprise as they escorted three of the finalist out of the arena
"1, 2, 3, 4, 5..." The clone counted confusing Sasuke. "With Lee out that would count up to five Genin I single handily Eliminated. I'm so awesome I'm leaving with that cool Chunin vest tstststs." The crowd roared for their favorite contestant as he began making his evil laugh before coughing and popping. The rest of the 20 clones summoned took a bow and puffed out of existence.
Sasuke felt a breeze go through him as he stood in the now empty space, a second ago it was lively but now it felt deserted even the ruckus of the arena became like background music and their eyes left him to instead follow how the blonde would handle the Sand Genin.
Sasuke turned in that direction and sprinted into the forest. He was not going to wait anymore, he and the blonde are settling it now.
