On a dark and stormy night, Apple Bloom is awakened and accidentally bumps into something that she can't see. Something falls on her head as a startled sound fills the air. She looks to the floor and finds what hit her. A book. A odd book, with the words "Death Note" on its cover. She will choose the fates of many. A self-contained story that is a small part of a shared universe.

After the death of The Shinigami King, an evil shinigami named Syuka decides to become the new king and try to take over a new world. He has his sights set on Equestria. When Ryuk tries to stop him, he is accidentally sent to Equestria. There he not only meets the Mane Six and the princesses, but his old friends as well. Will they be able to stop Syuka from taking over Equestria?

Light, L, Apple Jack, and the others team up to go stop an evil force. Can they do it? This is my first fic, if you don't like it, dont criticize. Criticism welcome.

After Ryuk's messing with the human world, shinigami interaction with humans is forbidden. In an intense moment of boredom, Dymari modifies his portal and discovers the world of My Little Pony. He changes his Death Note to work with ponies, and drops it at the hooves of Fluttershy, who has more of a dark side than anypony has ever known. OC slots are available, but limited.
