This is the first of my two Mistletoe Berries stories, published last week before Christmas on the Scarleteers website as part of the Mistletoe Berries 2021 Fan Fiction Challenge. Links to these two original holiday stories have also appeared on the Scarleteers Facebook page since then. Is there a kiss beneath the mistletoe in store for 16 year old Eliza Scarlet from an admirer?

It's the eve of Eliza's wedding with Rupert and everybody is losing sleep over it.

A follow on story from Miss Scarlet and the Band of Thieves. When Eliza Scarlet see Detective Inspector William Wellington on a strange doorstep with another woman, her curiosity is peaked. Who is she, and what does she have to do with William? As Eliza looks into the case of Megan Heyday, will her father's involvement in an old case bring Eliza and William closer together?

A direct sequel to the cliffhanger of Heart Quake, Eliza and William have been estranged for several weeks, but are making the most of their time apart. Destiny brings them together again, but not exactly in a way that either of them would have chosen. Plus, there are two crimes to solve at the Alhambra Theatre of Varieties.

Spluttering, he stood and gestured in the direction of her stomach. "I know I haven't seen you recently, but it has not been that long!" He swallowed heavily. "Is it mine?" William's efforts to comfort a distraught 16 year old Eliza do not go as planned, and they both end up heartbroken.

It's back from Scotland for Eliza and William! They are two days into their return, and a busy couple, catching up with work and letting friends know about their status as newlyweds!

Eliza takes on a case where a masher is attacking women by kissing in Russell Square. William becomes involved and this case becomes a learning experience for them both.

This story builds on Good Will Scarlet (GWS), in terms of William's backstory and details of his past. In GWS, Will is 17, and Eliza, 14 when they first meet; Will recovers Eliza's mother's wedding ring from Stryker, a street bully, after he breaks Stryker's nose. The details of GWS in Chapter 1. are key to this story, which starts not too long after the end of Season 1.

In the middle of investigating a case, William falls very ill and Eliza has to take care of him. Is there more behind his being sick? This is the third (and last?) of the stories in the Love Stinks/She Who Wears the Trousers timeline.

Will is thrilled, training has started at the police academy and he's been issued an assignment already! Lizzie tries to cope with his enthusiasm, but the happier he is, the more jealous she becomes…

This is a one shot designed to fill in a missing scene from Episode 6 in Season 1, after Eliza lost her nerve in the kitchen earlier that evening. Better late than never for these two lovebirds, at least for now.

This is a stand alone, short, one-shot story that does not take place on my main timeline. William finds a tiny baby on his stoop, and not knowing what to do, he turns to his only female friend, Eliza, for help, only to discover that she knows even less than him about babies!

A very short story on how William and Eliza had met, based on some info from an interview Rachel New had given back in February that I had only just discovered today.

It's been a week since Eliza and William's failed wedding. William receives word that his uncle, the man whom he has despised since childhood, has passed away and left him his estate in Scotland. William and Eliza make their way to Scotland, but when they arrive, they are in for a big surprise, and new challenges await them.

William and Eliza are having difficulty sleeping after an emotional day in Ayr that included them becoming engaged. What will their first night as an engaged couple hold for them? Essentially, this story could be seen as another chapter in I'm On My Way (Chapter 15), but it is also a stand alone story.

This story takes place after Love Stinks (the one-shot). Tilly is adamant about marrying Rupert, and she won't let anyone stand in her way. To Eliza's consternation, Tilly turns to her for help. And William gives Eliza a different sort of present…

In which Eliza is trying to find a young woman, William is trying to bring down a gang, and both of them are making a mess out of things without even trying.

A slip of the lip by PC Honeychurch has William 'the Duke' Wellington investigating a dance saloon in search of Eliza Scarlet. He finds her and Moses and a situation that he needs to protect her from. Will he help her with her latest case, if only to keep her safe?

Miss Morgan's home has been broken into and her practice painting of Steam and Speed has been stolen! Will The Detective be able to recover it?

What would have happened if Henry hadn't taken in William on that fateful stormy night? What if Eliza hadn't been able to pay Mrs. Parker the rent? Would Eliza and William still have met? (Also, last chapter is a spoiler/teaser story)

A follow on story from Miss Scarlet in Library with the Candlestick. Miss Eliza Scarlet is forced to take matters into her own hands when Detective Inspector William, The Duke, Wellington, is keeping secrets from her, and associating with a group of unsavory seeming men. Can she get to the bottom of this case, before something deadly happens?

Da dum da dum! Will wedding bells ring for Eliza and William? Or will the day go horribly awry?

This is a related story to I'm On My Way. I wrote this one-shot about William and Eliza, when I was writing Chapters 9 and 10 of I'm On My Way, in which Mary talks with both Eliza and William about their love for each other. It seemed like a natural offshoot from those chapters, given what Eliza sees in the back garden while talking with Mary.

This is a one-off story, takes place following Season One. An explosion of a stinky love potion in Eliza's kitchen leaves William at his wits end. Can he snap Eliza out of the potion's effects? Even more importantly, does he truly want to?
