Hector met Imelda as she crossed over to the Land of the Dead, but Imelda wasn't happy to see him. Hector has to make it up somehow, but that's difficult when he's just trying to stay alive. (Pre and Post movie)

The last thing Imelda wants to do is think of Héctor. Why think of someone who causes so much pain and hurt? But you can't control your dreams. So that's where Héctor's memory shows up in Imelda's mind the most.

What happens when Miguel and his family are forced to watch a movie about the future? Will it help bring them together? Or will it help tear the family apart? Read on to find out. This takes place BEFORE the picture falls. Takes place when he's shining shoes!

While he starts his search for his sister, an old enemy follows his very own plans of revenge.

I wrote this as a therapeutic way to deal with the events in the story. Miguel is a stand-in for me, and I hope you like the story.

Miguel, now twenty-seven, is a famous musician with a wife and two daughters. When he returns home for a DiaDe Los Muertes celebration, he finds himself threatened with a gun. When the gunman aims at his daughter, Miguel gives his life for her. Sent to the afterlife as a dead soul, Miguel learns that there is a way back to the world of the living but is it worth the cost?Flashbacks

A sudden flash of conscience from Ernesto changes Hector's life forever: By letting him have one.

Coco has a question about Ernesto that no one in her family will answer. Imelda, Oscar, and Felipe all turn her down. So she goes to someone else for help instead and gets more of an answer than she knows what to do with, sending her mind reeling and opening a wider space in her heart than she already has for her second best friend.

There's an excellent reason why they say poor communication kills. And an even more significant reason when it comes to the difference between hearing and truly listening to someone. So the Riveras go to family therapy to learn how to do both properly.

Hector realizes that Ernesto really wants his songs and gives him what he wants. He just wants to go home to see Imelda and Coco. Just a small "what if Hector goes home" fic and fluff. One shot and complete! Please review.
