A routine mission takes an unexpected turn and Carter ends up paying the price. Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c are by her side every step of the way for her recovery, but there's little chance she'll ever be same. Samantha Carter, leader of SGC arrives home after a gruesome day at work. She just wants to take a shower and sleep. Food is not even required. And she wants Jack. They are finally living together in the Springs, he is retired, taking care of their home, enjoying his retirement and her. Not by that order necessarily. And she is secretly happy to come back home and have him there.
