Rose Tyler works her way through police college after leaving her job and is sent to the town of Sandbrook, working with Alec Hardy. Rose is offered a promotion in London but at her leaving party realises she will miss him. When she passes her exam, she goes to work in Broadchurch and a few months later, Alec becomes the new DI. Rose Tyler has been popular since taking over some of her mother's charities so when she's invited to a Christmas event in Broadchurch she is happy to attend. Alec Hardy gets roped into looking after her for the evening and is taken with her, then Rose invites him to spend Christmas with her and when he says they have no plans and has fallen for her, his daughter is delighted.

Rose Tyler had moved to Sandbrook and became a hairdresser with her mother. Tess Hardy was one of her clients as was Cate Gillespie. When Cate's daughter goes missing, Rose is unsure whether to tell Alec Hardy of her conversation with young Pippa just before and what she had overheard between the girl and Cate. How can Alec get Rose to finally tell him what went on?

AU - Rose Tyler arrives in Broadchurch in search of a new life with very little money after she loses her job. She'd met a mysterious man who had somehow managed to blow up the store and he'd asked her to go with him in his time machine. She said no and thought he was trying to pick her up. She fell out with her boyfriend over it so she packed up and left and meets Alec Hardy.

The Doctor takes Rose Tyler and her mother to a small coastal town called Broadchurch while he goes back to London to send the Daleks and Cybermen back into the void but when he comes back for her after getting his timing wrong again, Rose has fallen in love with Alec Hardy. Will she go back to travelling with him in the Tardis? Did he stay away on purpose so she would meet Alec?

AU - Rose Tyler (who never met The Doctor) has been Broadchurch for two years after deciding to move there after a fallout with her boyfriend and gets a job as an filing clerk at the local Police Station. All hell breaks loose when new DI Alec Hardy, with a grumpy disposition from out of town arrives and everyone is against him, except for her. Will he tell her his secret?

Rose Tyler met Alec Hardy the first day she went to a new school when she was just 13. Her mother had followed a boyfriend to Paisley in Scotland and said they were staying. Rose daren't speak at first but Alec was different. He became her friend, they had their first kiss at 13 but 3 years later, she was gone. This is how they found each other and got together again in 2012.

Rose Tyler goes off on a mission the week before Christmas but something goes wrong and she is injured and found on Broadchurch beach with no recollection other than her name is Rose and was travelling with a man called The Doctor. Alec Hardy tries to piece things together and help her find out who she is and where she belongs while her mother wants a full-scale search.

After getting back home, Rose Tyler returns to her new world with The Doctor's clone but he becomes very ill. They try to save him and Rose uses the cannon to contact his twin. She finally gets through but even he can't save his brother. As consolation, he tells her she will meet someone in the coastal town of Broadchurch as he has learned Alec Hardy looks like them both.

Rose Tyler runs off when her mother hi-jacks hers and the Doctor's twin's wedding plans. She arrives in Broadchurch to get away from it all and meets Alec Hardy, who helps her sort out her feelings. He doesn't want to get involved with her or get her mixed up with Joe Miller's trial but his feelings get the better of him. When she leaves, will they ever see each other again?

Rose Tyler is in Broadchurch just as Alec Hardy arrives to take up his new post. They meet in the hotel bar on the night Danny Latimer is killed and go off to Rose's room just as Becca Fisher sneaks out to meet Mark Latimer. Rose goes home and is unaware Alec has been accused of killing Danny when she goes off on a dangerous mission. Can he get her to cover for him in time?

Rose Tyler offers Torchwood's help when a young girl has been killed in Sandbrook. Alec Hardy agrees as long as she stays out of his way when they're not working - as if that's ever going to happen. The case is solved and after getting together for a short time, Alec breaks it off saying she's too young. Then Rose goes to tell him he has a baby daughter when he gets to Broadchurch.

Rose Tyler has met Lee Ashworth while working as a trainee hairdresser for Claire Ripley in Sandbrook. Things start to get complicated when they move to a rented house and a young girl dies and her older cousin goes missing. Alec Hardy is in charge of the case and thinks Rose knows more than she says and offers her protection by moving her to Broadchurch after starting an affair.
