Chapter 1 A normal but weird day
The screen opens up near a totem pole as a young voice starts to speak.
to understand what I'm about to tell you, you need to believe in the impossible. Can you do that? Good. You see that..
A blue blur from the totem pole ran and into the city.
You see that blue blur? That's me.
Soon the blue blur was seen again this time dodging cars.
That too.
The blue blur was then seen running along the edge of the streets.
There I am again.
my name is Connor Sanchez and I am the fastest boy alive. my story is pretty simple and easy throughout my life I've been running Non-Stop. sometimes I run from bad guys like Romeo, night Ninja, Luna girl, Octobella, you name them. But one night, I was running away from something really scary. when I was just about 3 years old my sister Wendy Sanchez was killed. both of my parents went to jail for her murder. Now I live with Victor Sanchez my great-grand aunt. one day I'll find that person who killed my sister and get Justice for my parents.
A long time ago...
I was just an ordinary 3 year old, the same age as Amaya and Greg. Living a normal life with my parents and sister Wendy. But one night, as I was awaken by my cup floating in the air in slow motion. So, I ran downstairs to see a two blurs fighting while Wendy was on the floor begging for help. Which my parents walked into as well.
But at the same time, as my sister was screaming our names. the Yellow figure was looking at me.
"Connor, save me!" Wendy shouted I didn't know what to do. That's when my parents looked at me.
"Run Connor, RUN!" They both exclaimed as the blue figure grabbed me and placed me on the streets in the middle of nowhere.
"Mom? Dad? Wendy?" I called as I tried to run faster to get home. But unfortunately Once I arrived I saw police cars and an ambulance surrounding my house.
"We swear we didn't do this." I heard of both of my parents explained as they were being escorted out of the house.
"Connor sweetie don't go in the house." my mom exclaimed as she was handcuffed including my dad.
"Mom, Dad, where's Wendy?" I wanted to know.
"listen to your mother Connor, don't go in the house."
But since I'm only three, I'm curious so I just went inside. Once I arrived inside the house slowly I saw somebody covered up with the white blanket. as I uncovered it it was my sister who was dead and unresponsive.
"Wendy?" I called out but no answer.
That's when my great-grand aunt arrived.
"I'm sorry sweetie you're going to live with me." Victor told me.
13 years later...
It's now been 12 years, since that fateful day. but I never forgot about it. anyway as I was in the middle of doing my homework, my walkie talkies started to buzz as it was Amaya and Greg.
"Hey Connor, look I know you're doing your homework right now but we just want to let you know that well we're going to sleep so good night." both Amaya and Greg exclaimed.
"Wait before you guys go to sleep, do you guys believe me, about what happened when I was three with my sister being murdered and my parents being framed for it and being sent to jail?" I asked.
"Connor of course we believe you why wouldn't we? why who doesn't?" Greg wanted to know.
"My great aunt Victor, that's who." I told them.
"Look Connor we saw what we saw, and we believe you cuz we're your friends. But your great aunt Victor not so much." Amaya said.
"Gee, thanks for making me feel better Amaya." I teased.
"Don't worry, one day your great aunt Victor will see the truth, and help you out." Greg assumed.
"Thanks!" I thanked him.
"Well my homework is done, I'm going to sleep too see you guys in class tomorrow." I said ending the video call.
But unfortunately, I didn't go to sleep, because I was now starting some investigation into who the mystery murderer was but during the night, I looked out my window and saw something from the distance. It was lighting but it wasn't an ordinary lighting, it was something different as it was heading towards Tarabiscoville. Once I open the window which I never should have done, lightning struck me and I was knocked out unconscious. what I didn't know was that electricity was running through my fingers and into my head.
Tarabiscoville hospital operating room...
Nobody's POV
The hospital doors to the operating room burst open as Connor was being rolled down the hallway.
"What happened to him? He was hit by lightning. how is he still alive? CBC, chem 24, type and cross four. Bag him. He's coding." the doctors exclaimed as they were trying everything they could to keep Connor alive.
Not only Amaya and Greg were there, but also Connor's classmates and teacher as well great and Victor couldn't make it due to being held up at work. it's either that or he just doesn't care about his nephew. Either way, he didn't show up.
After some time, principal David came over with the cup of coffee for the teacher.
"Thanks!" the teacher thanked him.
"Well it's been a long day for all of us including the children." principal David told him.
"I agree, but I'm worried about Connor he's our top student. what if he doesn't make it?" The teacher wanted to know as Amaya walked up to him.
"Teacher, I've known Connor as long as I can remember he can pull through this. I know he can." Amaya said.
"Excuse me doctor, may I please see Connor?" Amaya asked.
"If it's okay with your teacher." The doctor said as Amaya's teacher gave the okay for his student to see Connor.
Amaya's POV
As I walked into the ICU, I saw Connor being hooked up to a lot of equipments. once I sat down the chair next to him I grabbed his hand, and started to speak.
"Connor? You need to wake up please I need you Greg needs you. the whole classroom needs you. you're funny, sweet, kind, talented, you're my best friend and I don't want anything to change that. so would you please please do me a huge favor and wake up?" I pleaded as nothing happened.
But as I was about to leave Blue in electricity started the shot my hand.
"Ouch." I exclaimed as I left.
once I came out of the ICU Greg ran to me and hugged me, as I started to cry on his shoulders.
"Shh, he's going to be okay." Greg said.
"Where's everyone else?" I asked while whipping my tears.
"They all went home, but I told our teacher that I'd stay with you." Greg told me as I smiled.
"Hello kids!" someone said as we turned around and saw a man.
"My name is Barry Allen and I can help your friend." Barry exclaimed.
"I see what he's been going through because the same thing happened to me once. let me and my team help him please. I'll do it for free and as a bonus I'll take you guys to Central City." Barry told us.
"Deal!" Both Greg and I answered.
9 months later in Star Labs with team Flash…..
Barry's POV
my name is Barry allen, and I am the fastest man alive. 9 months ago, I told the paramedics that I would take the 13-year-old boy into our wing since the same thing happened to me a long time ago..
*Connor wakes up*
"Whoa, what just happened?" The boy asked us as we all jumped.
"Take it easy, you were struck by lightning back in your hometown, kid." Cisco Ramon, my best friend who just happened to appear out of nowhere told him as the kid looked into the X-ray and saw his abs.
"The lightning gave me abs?" The boy exclaimed.
"Connor!" Both Amaya and Greg said as they ran over and hugged him.
"What happened?" The boy wanted to know.
"You were in a coma." Greg told him.
"For how long?" Connor asked.
"9 months! Welcome back Mr. William Sanchez! We have a lot to discuss." I said as I walked up to everyone.
"Barry Allen fastest man alive, nice to meet you Connor!" I introduced myself to him as we shook hands.
"I'm going to need you to urinate in this." Caitlin exclaimed as she was holding a pee cup to Connor.
"I'm feeling okay, alright so thank you I appreciate it I got to go. Can I keep the shirt?" Connor asked as he was referring to his STAR LABS shirt.
"Yes!" I said as he left.
Connor's POV
After 9 months in a coma, and waking up in star labs I decided to walk around the city but unfortunately I saw a biker losing control of his bike so I ran fast and caught him.
"You okay sir?" I asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, who are you?" The man wanted to know.
"Just making sure that you're safe. Oh, and my name is Connor." I introduced myself to him.
"Well Connor, for saving me here is 10 bucks." The man said as he gave me 10 bucks.
"Thank you! Um? I didn't get your name." I said.
"Oh my apologies, I'm Trevor! Trevor Smith." Trevor introduced himself as we shook hands.
"Well, thanks for saving me Connor I guess I'll have to be more careful with my bike." Trevor told me as I nodded my head in agreement.
"You should be careful alright?" I told him as he left.
Anyway as I was continuing my walk I felt blue lightning coming out of my body, along with my right hand vibrating.
"What's happening to me?"I asked myself as I started to run fast.
"I'm sorry, excuse me, coming through!" I spoke to the people as I was passing by while running.
Once I ran back to Star Labs, I tripped over Greg's foot and Amaya caught me.
"Whoa, Connor are you okay buddy?" Greg asked as team Flash ran up to us.
"Yeah I'm fine, but something just happened to me and I don't know what." I told them as Barry came over.
"You know Connor, the same happened to me when I first became the fastest man alive. Maybe the same thing is happening to you." Barry Allen thought.
"There's only one way to find out. How about you and Connor race to see who's the fastest kid or man alive." Cisco suggested.
"That's a good idea!" I told him as the scene then changed to the same area where Barry Allen was trained.
Greg's POV
"Caitlin, you don't think Connor can run that fast do you?" I asked.
"It's a possibility. Caitlin responded.
"How does it fit Connor?" Cisco asks as Connor comes out wearing a blue cat suit with stripes around it including a cat symbol on his chest.
"It's a little snug, but it's perfect!" Connor said as he walked up next to Barry Allen.
"You ready pipsqueak?" Barry asked as Connor was getting ready.
"Pipsqueak? Oh, I'm going to win anyway Connor told him.
"Okay but I must warn you, I'm the fastest." Barry said.
"We'll see about that Mr. Allen." Connor exclaimed.
"Ready, set go!" Amaya said to them as she waved the flag then both Barry and Connor ran fast.
Amaya's POV
As I was looking through my binoculars, Connor and the Flash were neck and neck. But unfortunately Barry phased through the cans while Connor stepped on his new tail and fell hard.
"Barry Allen wins, but Connor is hurt." I told them as I saw Connor was holding his wrist in pain.
"Connor's POV
"Okay, that was the best race ever! Besides my broken wrist." I said to everyone.
"Connor, your wrist isn't broken anymore, it healed in 4 hours." Caitlin said.
"Caitlin, how is that possible?" I wanted to know.
"Well, the same thing happened to Barry as he broke his wrist as well." Caitlin explained.
"But how is my wrist completely healed in 4 hours?" I asked.
"I'll let you know when I find out more details about how your wrist is completely healed in 4 hours."Caitlin told me as I nodded my head.
