Preface – 30/08/2022

Oops, I got distracted again. Honestly, I do plan to go back to everything I've started at some point, when the mood takes me. I've realised my writing process makes it hard to keep things going, too much perfectionism, too much trying to be as realistic as possible. This time I'll be trying to lower my standards of realism to make things easier by going with something inherently less realistic. Also been kinda enjoying all the different "Naruto the gamer" fanfics out there. Personally, I think "In Naruto: Gamer Ninja - Daichi Hekima " by MonkWithAPen is impeccable and by far the best offering available. Not to mention its current and has a rapid fire release rate. No sarcastic comments about this guy, he's the real fckn deal.

I think I'm going to enjoy this, and hopefully I'll be able to find more time for writing. Only one more day on my current project, and my health situation is looking better recently. While I'll be going less heavy on the gritty realism this time around, I'll not be going for a "comedy" fanfic, just less heavy on the gritty realism, and I'll not have to focus on the dialogue as much. Honestly writing compelling dialogue that comes across as realistic takes about ten times longer than just regular description or internal monologue. Sounds like exageration. Isn't. At least not for me.

I'll not really explain my plan for this one in the preface for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I'm not going heavy on the planning for this, I just wanna write and see where it takes me, see if it'll keep my enthusiasm more that way. Secondly, its a fairly straightforward concept with the whole gamer thing. All I'll say is I'm immensely happy with the title I came up with. I think this time I'll try writing a few more chapters before I start releasing too, we'll see how it goes.

Update – 11/08/2023

So its been a while since I abandoned this fic, and I've finally found the motivation to start it up again. I'm going for a much more sustainable approach, so I won't be dumping all the chapters I have. I'll post a maximum of one per day, and I'll be trying to write at least one per day in the hop of building up a store of chapters so I can ensure to keep it consistent. I'll also only be focussing on this fic, although I hope to finish all of them that I've started eventually, and more if I can.
