Hi Readers! Sooo, this has to be one of my popular stories that a lot of people loved! And I will be honest, I love it too. However, now that time has passed, I have gone, reread it and realized that there is a lot that I could have added into the story and build it up some more. I personally love this story, and I know everyone does too.
But be aware there will be some changes in the story to help it flow better. Do not worry, the main ideas will remain, and I know people will fall in love with this story again. At least, I hope so. I hope everyone will enjoy it.
For all those who are new to this story, Springtrap will not have a corpse inside him. This story is not canon to the games or books, and the characters are only similar to the ones in the games.

Sitting at her computer, a seventeen-year-old girl was searching for a job. She had left high school a couple years ago, but has been working very hard with online school as she had a lot of mental health issues during her high school years and this had been extremely beneficial to her. This is mainly due to an incident that happened ten years ago…one that remained as a painful scar in her mind ever since. And even though it was tragic, the kids at school somehow thought it was a good idea to bully her for it. She almost took her own life because of it. Thankfully, removing her from school and going to therapy had been the best thing for her. Now the girl was on her way to college…at least she hoped for that.
Her parents had not been putting much money aside for her for college. It was not something she was very upset about, because they needed a lot of time after the incident. They were put out of work and the girl had to help them as much as possible. Her grandparents on both sides came to help out, but it still affected them. Now she had a much younger sister who has no idea what happened in the past. And sadly, her parents spoil her a little too much.
"Saphira!" Speaking her her little sister, the whiny, loud voice from outside her door nearly made her cover her ears. "Mommy's made pancakes! Come down before I eat it all!"
She rolled her eyes and brushed back a strand of black hair behind her ear. "Okay, Roxy. I will be down in a minute! Go ahead and eat all you want! I don't care."
"Yay!"
She shakes her head when she heard the girl race back downstairs to dig into the food. Roxy is about five now, and she was not even born when the incident happened. It didn't matter though. Saphira looked back at the computer screen, scrolling through different advertisements to see if she could find something. Most were not suitable for her due to her skill set, even though she was rather good at some IT stuff and she has considered making a career out of it.
There's really nothing here…I don't want to go back to babysitting…I am over doing that.
Saphira did save up a little bit of money from babysitting, but it became too much for her. Mostly because her parents would make an excuse to not help her out, and it was annoying. She did manage to buy a car with that money, so it was something. But she got sick of babysitting because of this and she didn't want to do it anymore. Plus, she got some rather bad parents, and she didn't want to deal with that again. So a regular job it was.
Saphira had applied for some retail and fast-food jobs already, but none have gotten back to her and she did try to make her resume look as nice as possible. She did assume because she wasn't in school, they wouldn't hire her. She thought it was silly, but she wasn't about to force anyone to hire her if they didn't want to. So she would just keep looking through the internet to find something.
And to her surprise, something did finally come up. A night guard position at a local restaurant was open. Saphira clicked on it as she was curious and she was surprised to see where it was. Fazbear Horror and Pizzeria Attraction. That was a place Saphira has not been to in many years. She had not even thought about it in so long.
I used to go there almost everyday since I was five. It was my favorite place to be. Bonnie, Freddy, Chica and Foxy were the stars until new animatronics were added…and new sections…including the horror section.
Saphira tapped her finger on her desk, thinking about it and took a deep breath with a shrug. She knew she had reservations on how she felt about the restaurant…but she knew it was not the fault of the company of what happened. It was the fault of the person who caused it. Saphira had many good memories here and she decided she would apply for it anyway. It was best to not let her negative feelings keep her down.
After all, it wasn't their fault. It is a job. Hopefully, my parents won't be mad about it…
It didn't matter. She may not get a reply since she is young and has no security experience. Though she doubted it would be difficult. She figured a restaurant like that wouldn't have many people sneaking in. She knew a lot of people who did not go because they are scared of the animatronics. She didn't really blame them. Some of them were rather intimidating, even for her. But she used to spend time with them anyway.
With the application sent, Saphira stood up from her computer and made her way down stairs to the kitchen. She saw her mother, Alana, with black hair and warm brown eyes at the table with her sister, Roxy, who had red hair like their dad. Roxy's blue eyes look up at Saphira and gave her the death glare. It was no secret to her that Roxy disliked being in the same room as Saphira, but their parents thankfully remind Roxy that Saphira was here first, and she had every right to be there.
She sat down with a sigh and pile a couple pancakes onto her plate and began to spread butter over it. Alana looked at Saphira curiously. "Is something the matter, Saphira?"
"You would not believe the advertisement that I found, mom," Saphira responded without looking up at her. "It is a night security position at a local restaurant. Can you take a guess at which restaurant it is at?"
Her mother frowned in confusion while Roxy wrinkled her nose in disgust. "I didn't think you would be able to apply for something like that."
She shrugged and grabbed the small cup of honey to pour over her pancakes. "The application said I did not need experience. That kind of makes me think that it will be pretty easy. Besides…" She finally looked up at her mother with a slight smile. "It isn't entirely difficult. And it'll be perfectly safe."
Her mother did not seem very convinced as working at night can be dangerous. She thought about it long and hard about what restaurant would want a night guard. "Hmm…the only one that I can think of…umm…" She widened her eyes and stared at Saphira in disbelief. "Please do not tell me it is at Fazbear's…" She nodded. "Why would you apply for that place?"
"Because it is a job, mom. And you know what happened had nothing to do with that place." She looked down at her plate as she cut a piece of pancake and put it into her mouth. "So I do not think there is any reason to be upset about the past, mom."
Alana seemed upset by this news, but she contemplated it. "I guess you are right…we just associate what happened to that restaurant…but still…I have heard a lot of rumors about working there. It is fine for everything, except the nightshift. People say the night guards have disappeared without a trace."
Saphira was surprised to hear that as she never heard anything like that. So she was suspicious. "Um…where did you hear that, mom? That is not something even I know about, and I read a lot of things."
"Uh…well…it is just discussed around town, and a Facebook page…" Saphira rolled her eyes as soon as she heard the social media name and decided it wasn't something to take seriously. "I do not know how much of it is true, but there are a lot of people talking about it, Saphira. So I do believe something weird happens at night. I do not think you should accept the job if they get back to you and ask you for an interview."
Saphira just shrugged. "I do not know if I will believe what people say on Facebook, mom. It isn't the best place to find the most relevant information." She smiled at Alana who was still concerned. "I will be fine. Besides, I need a job. I need to save some money for college."
Her mother just sat there as she thought about it. She did not like that Saphira could be working at this restaurant. But she knew her daughter was determined to work and save money, and she wanted her to do that. "Alright…well…I suppose if it does happen…there is nothing I can do, other than to tell you to be careful…I don't want another incident to happen."
"Don't worry, mom. It will be fine." She wasn't entirely worried about working at the restaurant at all. It will bring back a lot of memories that she had from her childhood, but that was it. "At least I won't be asking you to take me anywhere so late in the night or pick up early in the morning."
Alana smiled a little. "Yeah…I guess you are right about that…"
"Mommy, I think working at a restaurant is stupid!" Roxy interrupts loudly with a disgust expression. "They're dirty and loud!"
The woman looked at Roxy with a gentle smile instead of a scowl, making Saphira roll her eyes. "Roxy, not all restaurants are dirty. Many of them are very clean. If Saphira gets the job at this restaurant, she won't be working with any people. She'll just be watching over the place and making sure no bad guys get in."
Roxy pressed her lips together as her frown deepened. "It's still dirty! I'll never work at a restaurant! Eww!"
I can't really imagine that anyway.
Saphira ignored her bratty sister as she finished her pancakes and took her plate over to the sink to wash up. Once she finished that, she went back up to her room to do some more job searching before she would focus on finishing some schoolwork. She didn't really expect to find anything else or to get a response from the restaurant, so she was in no hurry to return to her room.
She closed the door behind her and walked over to her computer, taking a seat in her chair. She resumed scrolling through the job advertisements and sent a few more applications through before checking her email. She saw she had a few confirmation emails about the applications going through, but she saw she had two from Fazbear's. One was a confirmation, the other was an interview offer.
She was in shock! She had not expected to get an interview offer so soon. She clicked on the email and saw she could go in for one today after lunch. She smiled to herself and decided to accept it. She knew that her mother will be less than pleased, and so will her father when he finds out. But she was not concerned about what they would think or say. She had an interview, and she was happy that she could accept it.
She moved away from the computer to go through her clothes to decide what to wear. She had already decided to go smart casual, as she wasn't going into a very high-end business, so she didn't want to be dressed over the top for the job. She would put some makeup on, but only that it would look natural and not too over the top. She knew she wouldn't really wear much makeup for this job anyway.
Deciding on a nice pair of jeans and a white blouse with enclosed shoes, Saphira felt she was set. She informed her mother on the news, and as she thought, Alana was very unhappy that Saphira accepted the interview. But she didn't try to convince Saphira to not go, only reinstating what she said she knew. Saphira still did not believe her. She had a few hours until the interview anyway, and she made sure to print out a copy of her resume and scan a few important documents that would be needed for the interview so she could walk away with a job. At least that is what she was hoping for.
When it was an hour before the interview, Saphira already had her hair tied back into a neat ponytail and had her makeup sorted. She grabbed the keys to her old Toyota Corolla and left the house to head to the restaurant. She wanted to be extra early in case something happened on the road, and she needed to remember how to get to the restaurants. She did begin to feel nervous as some of her old feelings about the restaurant surfaced…along with the memories she had. She wasn't sure how she would feel once she got there and saw all the animatronics again, but she had to wait and see with that. After all, it has been ten years and she wanted to go into this job without any hesitation…or try to.
