"WAIT WHAT?!" I scream at the screen as I'm taken into the overgrowing darkness.
-Timeskip-
I wake up in my bed, as the memories of both Goten and Karot flash before my eyes, giving me a slight headache but this works out in my favour.
I'm at the start of Dragon Ball, which means that using my knowledge of the anime, I can get the Dragon Balls without anything hindering me.
I take a look in the mirror and oddly enough, I look like one of Mori Jin's weaker versions, Mori Dan except my hair is black instead of blue.
That is so weird but I'm not complaining.
"Goku, Goten, come outside!" A voice shouts from my room and I feel a couple of tears escaping my eyes.
That voice... I've missed it for so long.
That's him.
"Grandpa!" I shout, running full speed to tackle the old man in joy but I can't find him.
Maybe he's playing hide and seek?
"I'm gonna find you, Grandpa!" I shout as I begin searching for him.
"Goten, wait up!" My twin brother says, running after me but I couldn't listen.
Not when he was so close.
I had to find him.
"Goku, where is he? Where's Grandpa? I can't find him anywhere." I say to him as he looks at the ground with a look of guilt and shame on his face.
"H-he d-died, because of me! I should've stayed inside the house but I wanted to look at the moon that night. it was so.. beautiful but then, Grandpa stepped in and he... I'm so sorry Goten! I don't deserve to be your brother!" He cries out as I hug him, shocked about the fact that Grandpa Gohan is dead and I couldn't do anything about it.
"It's alright. You deserve to be my brother, you hear me?! Nothing is gonna change that." I say to him while letting a couple of tears fall, remembering all of the times Gohan took care of us when he shouldn't have but still did it out of the kindness of his heart.
Once we are out of tears, we stand up and walk back to the house but in front of it is a bike.
Specifically, it's Bulma's bike, which means that she's around here looking for Grandpa's Dragon Ball.
I can't let that happen.
"Come on! There's an intruder here." I say as I run to where Gohan kept his Dragon Ball and oddly enough, that's exactly where she is, a look of victory etched on her face before she turns around and sees both me and Goku glaring at her.
"Well, hello there kids. I'm just gonna borrow this if you don't mind." Bulma says before Goku slips into a fighting stance with a look of anger on his face.
"You see girly, you might be smart but my brother over here isn't afraid to kick a woman in the face," I say as said brother growls at her like a feral animal.

Is he unconsciously drawing the power of the Oozaru?
That is so weird but I need to focus on her.
"Wait, are you gonna hurt a woman like me?" She shouts in disbelief.
"If you claim to be a woman, then I'm disappointed in what the world has to offer," I reply cheekily as the girl goes red in anger.
One would think she learned the Kaioken with how red she is.
"Last chance lady, put the dragon ball where it belonged!" Goku shouts at her.
"How about no?!" Bulma yells at us.
"I tried to warn you. She's all yours Goku." I sigh in disappointment as Goku jumps in the air and kicks her in the face, knocking her out in one hit.
Goku lands back on the ground then takes the Dragon Ball and puts it around his neck like a necklace.
"Wait, what are we going to do with her?" My brother asks me but I have to admit, I didn't think that far ahead.
"How about we wait until she wakes up? That way, she can explain to us why she wanted to steal Grandpa's Dragon Ball." I say to him while he nods his head in understanding.
"Sure! I'm gonna go read that book you gave me Goten! See ya later!" Goku shouts as he runs back to the main house, allowing me to breathe a little as I stare at the so-called thief.
If she's here, then that means I'm at the start of the main timeline, which is good since I know where most of the balls are.
I just have to make sure that Pilaf and the Red Ribbon Army don't have access to it.
Side note, steal all of the RR's tech when I'm done kicking their ass.
It could be useful to Capsule Corp and I don't want to deal with Cell or the Androids in the future.
The only thing that Saga did right is give us a Waifu and then, she got snatched by that bald moron.

"Watch over me, Grandpa Gohan," I mutter quietly I lay next to Bulma's unconscious body and then, a shadowy figure appears so I grab the blue-haired girl and jump far from the figure.
"Great, a monster. Just what I needed today. Where's Kakarot when you need him?" I mutter to myself before laying the girl next to a nearby tree and then I slip into a fighting stance.
The dinosaur runs at me at full speed so I roll to the left and use [First Strike] on his ribs, hurting him as he then falls over a couple of steps away from the still unconscious Bulma, making me sigh in relief.
For someone so smart, she sure is a heavy sleeper but that works in my favour.
I'd rather not be distracted by her yelling if I can help it.
I use [Flurry] as many times as I can on the dinosaur and after the tenth punch, he lets out a final gasp and dies while I just pant in slight exhaustion before laying next to Bulma, slightly tired but overall okay.

They were a handful of these so-called [Skill books] but I ultimately went with those related to elements simply because I would like to expand my arsenal of attacks without levelling up too much.

There are a couple of these [Notifications] related to the other basic elements but I shut them off as Bulma begins to stir and finally wakes up.
"Ugh, w-what happened? The last thing I remember is... YOU! Where's my Dragon Ball, you good-for-nothing brat?" She yells in my face while I just stare at her before a Cheshire grin makes its way onto my face.
"My brother has it and I think we've already established that we're not giving you ours," I say cheekily, enjoying the look of desperation that's etched on her face.
"Then how the hell am I supposed to get my wish granted?!"
"Aren't you wishing to find the perfect boyfriend? With a personality like yours, I seriously doubt anyone is gonna want to marry you, much less date you." I reply with a haughty look as she's now fuming, with steam coming out of her ears, which is just hilarious.
"I'll have you know that I've been rejecting boys left and right before you and your weird brother so don't you dare call me ugly!" Bulma yells out.
"No one here called you ugly. All I said is we're not gonna give our Dragon Ball. Well, there is a way for us to do that but I doubt you'll want to heat it."I say as I stand up and begin walking to the house while mentally counting how many seconds would it take for her to fall into my trap.
"WAIT!"
'Perfect.' I thought before turning to face her.
"What is it?" I ask her while laughing like a lunatic in my head.
"I want you and your brother to join on my quest to gather the other seven. You're the negotiator, I'm the smart one and Goku's muscles of the group. Together, we'll find the Dragon Balls. I hear they can revive someone from the dead." Bulma explains while I pretend for my eyes to widen in shock but I already know this information.
The two of us walk back to the house and while Goku is still pretty pissed at her for trying to steal Grandpa Gohan's Dragon Ball, a quick explanation from me allows him to be on board with the idea of teaming up with her.
"Goodnight," I say to her as I bid her farewell and go sleep on the couch of the house, staring at the moon with a sad expression on my face.
Why was I sent to a time when Grandpa Gohan just died?
Why am I so attached to him when I barely know him?
Is it because Goten and my souls fused rather than me assimilating him like the many fanfics I read?
I look away from the moon so I don't turn in an Oozaru and soon enough, I enter a dreamless sleep.

Hey guys, here's my new DBZ fic and this will hopefully replace Dragon Ball Z: Gamer Style as I rushed that story like I usually do in most of my Gamer stories but make no mistakes, he will be strong.
This chapter is about 5k but doesn't expect me to do that every time you feel like it.
