Soooo down below is my first commentary on posting my very first fanfiction story. That was years ago though. Loads has happened. For one, I have been publishing my own original series with my brother in law (Only available in my native language I'm afraid, called "The Council of Thorns" ). I find myself with a little writers block as we are starting the 4th and final book of that series. So I want to go back to this first story. Because screw it, I am feeling a bit nostalgic. And I promised myself I would make it better, when I myself became a better writer. So I might upload some chapters anew. Perhaps even work further on the sequel.

Hello there! My first fanfiction. I am Dutch but I wanted to write in English so if it isn't written in the right way with spelling and all, please review and let me know!

I have to do this: I do not own anything accept for my own characters! Unfortunately I am not JK Rowling.

In short, this is a story about Rosella Ariana Dumbledore. She is the daughter of Voldemort and Alliana Dumbledore.

She doesn't know this. Alliana and Albus Dumbledore keep this a secret for her. Rosella becomes best friends with Neville, just because I truly love Neville and how he becomes! She also becomes friends with Hermione, Harry and Ron.

Hope you enjoy! And please review!

( just a little side info, I have changed all the confusion around the cousin/niece/grandfather thing. If it's still around please tell me! Also put in some additions in some chapters, but not to much. )

Prologue

A bright flash shook her awake as thunder followed a second later. She raised her head from her pillow. Feeling a breeze from the open window. Narcissa Malfoy had probably opened it for her. They had been pregnant for almost the same amount of time. Her Draco had been born two months ago. And soon it would be Alliana's turn. Her daughter kicked in her stomach. Pushing her further into the land of the wake.

Alliana held a hand over her belly. She could barely contain a new set of tears. She had been crying for over a year now. Ever since the Dark Lord took her prisoner. Why she had believed that the man had wanted to talk about peace was beyond her. That he had been sorry for the death of her mother and sister in law. He wanted the violence to end. And Alliana had been a fool.

She stood then with some effort, maneuvering her big belly over to the window. Closing it. It was cold enough in this place. It was always freezing. Surely when in close proximity of that mad men. She missed her home, she missed her family. Her father couldn't handle more loss..

She bit away her tears this time. She had to be tough. Otherwise she'd go insane. She had been trying to get out on her own. That only resulted her more punishment and torture and pain. He had not hurt her physically anymore, not since she had grown pregnant with his heir. But he could do so much worse with your mind. Her mind had broken months ago already. When she realized her uncle wouldn't be saving her. Her uncle, the grand Albus Dumbledore. She sighed and caressed her big belly again. Her child was the only joy she had here. Even if it was the child of the Dark Lord. He had wanted his heir to be with her. To humiliate Albus, to hold it over him like a toddler that had won a silly game. To let it grow up and diminish anything that was light and good. But Alliana would do anything in her power to make sure that it wouldn't go that way. This child was light. She could feel it. Even if she never got out of here, wherever she was being kept, she would make sure.

The door opened and she turned from the window, terrified that it was him. 'I'm sorry,' she said automatically, as she always did, just to be sure. But to her complete bewilderment it was not Voldemort. This was Severus Snape.

'Come,' he said darkly and hastened as he walked up to her. 'We have little time.' He offered his hand to her. A kind gesture she just wasn't used to anymore. Narcissa had been the only one who had been at least decent. Sometimes even considerate. But other than that, she had not encountered a friendly soul among them. 'Your uncle sent me.' He added as he noticed her hesitation. 'We have to hurry.'

She then took it. Remembering her uncle saying something about owing him. It was the littlest information she had to go on. But hope ushered her to at least believe in some chance of freedom. That her child would not be born here.

The man seemed relieved she took his hand and quickly guided her out of the room. She was on her bare feet and only had her long nightgown and nightrobe on. But it seemed to matter little to both her and Snape.

'Severus-?'

'Be quiet,' he said in a whispered hiss and Alliana did so right away. She heard screams in the distance and shivered. She had no idea if the man noticed, but she could've sworn he took her hand a little tighter. Perhaps in comfort. Perhaps to make sure she wouldn't run off. 'The meeting has adjourned, but Lucius thought it wise to comment on the latest raid. The fool is being tortured as everyone is watching.' He stopped for a moment to let her pass him and pushed her along gently, helping her off the stairs. 'The apparition point will be active as long as that meeting prolongs. Apparate to your father's pub.'

Alliana's heart beat faster than it should be. It was going to happen, she was going to escape!

'I don't know-.' She started and reached for her belly again. But he shook his head as he led her to the Hall now.

'Apparating will not hurt the baby,' he said. 'No matter what the Dark Lord told you.'

She nodded. It would be like that bastard to lie to her like that. Make sure she wouldn't try to escape. 'What about you?' she asked as they reached the middle of the Hall.

'Nobody will even have noticed my absence,' Snape said. 'Go.'

She concentrated on her father's pub. The place in her head fondly. Even if she and her father had a difficult relationship, she wanted to be safe. The last thing she saw, was Severus' face. Dark and hardened. As she disappeared in a world of colors and onto the hard floor of the Hog's Head.

Alliana landed on her hands and knees. Her baby kicking in her stomach, as if excited about the sensation it had just felt. But Alliana was not excited. She couldn't believe she was out and started bawling, for the nightmare was finally over.

'Alliana!' she heard her father's voice, hurried footsteps and her father's hairy arms holding her up.

'Dad!' she cried, putting her own around his neck and crying out her misery. As she succumbed to her own darkness, with now just the smallest glimmer of hope.
