Chun Li walked through a dense jungle. She came to a clearing and saw a little house near a river. It was on stilts. She could hear children playing but did not see where they were. She walked closer and the children's voices grew louder. An older woman came out from the bamboo house and stared at her for a moment, she then motioned Chun Li to come inside.
Chun Li woke up to daylight hitting her face. She realized she was dreaming. Wow, what a vivid dream I had. She lay in the bed thinking about the past month. Ryu and she had been staying in a rural village outside Calcutta, India where Dhalsim lived. During the day, Ryu trained to control himself over the power of the dark hadou, and Chun Li pondered what her next steps in life would be while she travels with him.
"Chun Li," Ryu quietly called as he walked into the hut. He looked to see if she was awake.
"Good morning," Chun Li replied while performing some morning stretches.
"You slept in today," Ryu commented.
"I was having very vivid dreams last night. All sorts of weird things, but I remember one in particular just before I woke up," she explained.
"You'll have to tell me about it later today, I don't have much time right now. Dhalsim said he has something he wants to talk to both of us about," Ryu said. Chun Li wondered what Dhalsim had to say. It seemed as though Ryu had little time for her since arriving in India. "Once you've have eaten breakfast and prepared yourself for the day, we'll meet him near the temple." Chun Li nodded her head and Ryu left back outside for his daily training.
After Chun Li got ready for the day, she went into the village's marketplace. She bought a few things for breakfast and looked around to see what other things were being sold. As she was walking around, she noticed a woman holding up a picture walking up to other marketgoers asking them a question. When she came to Chun Li, she began talking to her. "I'm sorry, I don't speak Bengali," Chun Li said in an empathic tone. The woman tried again to ask her a question.
"Boy, son, missing, help?" The woman replied in broken English.
"I haven't seen him, but I hope you find him," Chun Li replied. The woman continued on asking other people if they had seen her son. Chun Li felt saddened for the woman, feelings of her own deceased son crept into her mind. I'll say a little prayer for her son's safe return. As she continued, she passed a billboard with a lot of posts about missing children. She was distraught over the number of missing persons.
Back in the village, Ryu stood by a large tree near a lake. He breathed deeply and exhaled slowly. He focused on his next move, he punched, kicked, and imagined an opponent standing before him. He ran toward the tree, kicked off of it, and flipped toward his imaginary challenger. He stopped and began gathering energy into his hands. A glowing ball formed and Ryu rhythmically moved his arms and hands getting ready to release it. "Hadoken," Ryu yelled out.
"I remember when you could barely keep control over the power of the hadou," Dhalsim said coming from behind Ryu.
"A long time ago, indeed," Ryu replied.
"Is your wife back yet?" Dhalsim asked.
"No, my apologies, Master Dhalsim. She went to the marketplace, but I know she'll be back soon," Ryu reassured.
"Very well. Come see me at the temple when you two are ready." The yoga master walked off in the direction of the temple.
Back in the village, Chun Li went into the local police station. She wanted to know more about the missing children. The policemen watched her as she walked in.
"How can I help you, miss?" an officer asked.
"I'm curious to know about the missing children. How long has this been going on?" Chun Li asked.
"About 2 weeks now," he replied.
"Are there any leads? What sort of investigation has been carried out so far?" she continued. The policemen looked at each other wondering why a foreigner was concerned about the locals.
"And just who are you, miss?" the officer questioned.
"My name is Chun Li. I am a former agent of Interpol," she explained confidently.
"Please excuse me, Chun Li, but we don't get many foreigners outside Calcutta near this village, especially ones interested in our children. I am officer Sharma," he reached his hand out to shake Chun Li's.
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance," Chun Li replied. "Forgive the brashness, as a former police officer and Interpol agent myself, cases like this grab my immediate attention."
"We are normally a peaceful village but 2 weeks ago children began disappearing. We don't know why, and we don't have any leads yet," Officer Sharma explained.
"No leads? Hmm, are you sure they aren't runaways?" she asked.
"Most of the children had good and loving parents. Impoverished but still happy homes," another officer chimed in. Chun Li was very curious about the missing children. She wanted to ask more but she remembered she had to meet Ryu and Dhalsim back at the temple.
"I see. Well, if there is anything I can do to help, please let me know," Chun Li said. "I'm staying with Dhalsim, the yoga master. Do you know him?"
"Of course! Everyone in these areas knows him. So, you are the foreign guest staying with Master Dhalsim. There was talk going around about foreigners here," Officer Sharma said.
"Yes, my husband and I are here visiting. I don't know how much longer we'll be here, but I would like to extend my help if you ever need it."
"Thank you, Chun Li. We could definitely use the help of an Interpol agent, I'm sure," the officer said.
"Former agent," Chun Li corrected him. "I really must be going now. Have a good day." She walked out of the station and back to the village. One of the officers in back slipped away and made a phone call. He looked around to see if Officer Sharma was close enough to hear what he was saying.
At the temple, Ryu and Dhalsim waited for Chun Li. She finally arrived, breathing quickly as she had run to meet them. "Thank you both for your patience. I'm sorry I kept you waiting," Chun Li expressed.
"It's not like you to be late. Was everything alright?" Ryu asked.
"Yes, everything was fine. I had stopped by the police station to inquire about the missing children ads," she explained.
"The missing children have become an issue lately. I wanted to look into that myself," Dhalsim spoke. "Perhaps one day, but now, I have called you here because I want to give you both a challenge. I want you two to go into the forbidden temple."
"Master Dhalsim. Do you really think Chun Li is ready for the forbidden temple?" Ryu asked impatiently. "Ken and I beat the tar out of each other the first time we went in there!"
"Yes, Ryu, the time has now come. Prepare yourselves! We will meet back here in two hours. Be ready." Dhalsim left.
"The forbidden temple…Is it really that bad?" Chun Li asked.
"Yes, but I hope you can overcome what is inside," Ryu expressed. "Let's go back, we can prepare for what's coming." Back in their hut, Ryu sat on the floor. He began meditating.
So much for talking, Chun Li thought. She wished they could have a morning where he didn't train so intensely, a morning where they could enjoy being with one another. "Ryu?" Chun Li called. He did not answer. She called him again, "Ryu?"
With annoyance in his voice, he replied, "What is it? I'm trying to meditate before we go into the temple." Chun Li was hurt by his reply.
"I thought we might be able to chat for a little bit before going in," she hoped.
"I need to prepare for the temple. Whatever it is has to wait," he replied coldly. Chun Li began to get frustrated with the way Ryu treating her.
"You don't have to be a jerk about it!" She walked out of the hut. Train, train, train, that's all he does.
Ryu wondered what he did wrong. What was all that about? Was it something I said? I wonder if I should go after her. Ryu quickly got up and walked out after Chun Li. "Hey! If you have something to say, just say it," he yelled to her. She stopped and turned around.
"OK, I do have something to say," Chun Li began. "All of your time is wrapped up in Dhalsim, meditating, and training. I know that's what we came here for, but what about you and me? When is it our time?"
"If you know that why we came here, then what is the problem?" Ryu was thinking too simple minded.
"You know, you can be really dense, Ryu," Chun Li said annoyed. She turned around to walk away again.
"You know I need to do this! I have to become better and stronger," he tried to explain.
"Alright, you need to train…then how about this!" Chun Li ran full speed to Ryu, jumped in the air, twisted around, and aimed her foot straight for his face. Quickly, he dodged her attack.
"Hey! What the hell is that about?" Ryu yelled. Chun Li rushed him again. She aimed punches and kicks at him. "Chun Li! Stop this!" He went on the offensive and began fighting back. "You asked for it." Both fighters brawled back and forth. Chun Li was able to get into position to grab and throw him over her shoulder. It took all her strength but with her strong legs planted on the ground she flipped him. Ryu just looked back at her not wanting to fight anymore, they both breathed hard from their scuffle.
"I hope that was enough training for you," Chun Li left and walked out of the village to a nearby lake. Ryu, still shocked with their first fight since getting married, went back to the hut.
At the lake, Chun Li got undressed and went into the water. She wanted to cool down before going back to the hut. I just wanted to talk with my husband, is that so bad? Since we got here, all he's been doing is train, train, train. What a jerk, talking like that to me. Wanting to clear her head, Chun Li closed her eyes and let her thoughts go blank. She slowed her breathing and focused on the cool water surrounding her body. She floated on top of the water. Her body relaxed. In her head she saw a vision of a boy wearing a red shirt. He was scared. The name Raj entered her thoughts. Chun Li opened her eyes. What was that? She was confused by the vision. She tried to refocus her thoughts.
Dhalsim watched Chun Li from afar. He felt a spiritual connection coming from her. Hmm, what is this? Does she have the extrasensory perception? He pondered what he felt from her. We'll see how she does in the forbidden temple.
Back in the hut, Ryu tried meditating but all he could think about was Chun Li. We've never fought like that before. Before long, Chun Li slowly walked back into the hut. Her eyes met Ryu's.
"I'm not here to fight," Chun Li began.
"Good…that was one hell of a flip," Ryu replied. He motioned for her to come sit on the bed next to him. "Look…I'm sorry if I said something wrong to you. I don't know what I did to make you so angry."
Chun Li sighed. "I'm sorry for losing my temper. I…just…have been feeling a bit cast aside here. Like I said earlier, I know you have to train to be better and stronger but I also need you to be a better and stronger husband to me too." Ryu finally realized the error of his way.
"I have been used to traveling alone since I was a teenager. I never had to think of anyone but myself. I only had one goal that didn't include anyone but me. I'm sorry, Chun Li. I didn't mean to hurt you. I have failed if you feel that way. I promise I will do better from now on," Ryu leaned to Chun Li and hugged her. A tear fell from her eyes.
"I should have known better. I know this must be hard for you. I'm a distraction," she replied.
"No, you're my strength. You keep me grounded. We are a team," Ryu said lovingly. Chun Li leaned in for a kiss. The two went down on the bed, and they kissed more intensely.
"We shouldn't. We have to be at the temple in 30 minutes," Chun Li said through their fiery kisses.
"Then we'll make it quick. I have to make up for lost time," Ryu said with a mischievous tone. As usual, Chun Li melted in his embrace. The two began helping each other take their clothes off. They lay on the bed facing each other. Ryu reached between Chun Li's legs and began massaging her with one hand and the other reached for her breasts gently caressing them. Warmth engulfed their nether regions, they wanted to unite. They continued their passionate kissing, longing for each other's bodies to be connected. From her lips, Ryu made his way down her neck with soft kisses, to each of her breasts, down her abdomen, and finally his mouth placed between her legs on her most sensitive spot. Slowly, a moan came from Chun Li's lips. She loved being the center of his attention and the focus of his thoughts.
In and out Ryu's fingers went inside of her, he loved the feeling of how wet she felt when he turned her on. "I'm getting close," Chun Li managed to say. Ryu pressed his tongue on her even harder, he wanted her to release all her tensions.
"Do it. Come," he reassured her. Suddenly, Chun Li couldn't take it anymore. A powerful sensation filled her body. She climaxed and moaned in delight. She lay there breathing hard coming down from her high when Ryu turned her over on to her stomach. "Now it's my turn," Ryu said sternly. He pulled her legs apart and entered her body with his enlarged member. It wasn't long before he vigorously penetrated her.
"I want you to feel the same pleasure as I did," Chun Li said. She raised her butt slightly to allow Ryu to go deeper into her body. His senses heightened, he felt himself losing control and his inner beast came out. Ryu's body began tensing up, he wanted to release all of his passion into Chun Li's body. His euphoria began to take over, he kept thrusting inside until he finally couldn't take it anymore. He quickly pulled out and finished, letting himself drip all over Chun Li's butt. Ryu let out an exhausted breath of air. He laid next to her on the bed. "I hope you're not that fast in the future," Chun Li said in amusement. Both lovers let out a laugh.
"Only times when we have to go into forbidden temples," Ryu joked. "I truly am sorry for how I made you feel today. It was never my intention."
"I'm just happy we made up before meeting Dhalsim at the temple. I'm a little afraid of what I'll see inside." Chun Li said.
"Just keep calm and remember your training. I'm sure you'll do fine," he assured her. "We better get ready to go. We've got 10 minutes to spare." The two lovers got themselves ready for their test in the forbidden temple. They left the hut hand in hand, ready to take on the challenge that lie ahead.
