"Listen here, Odalia!" Camila yelled.

"Oh great. Here we go" Odalia replied.

While visiting Eda, Raine, King, and Hooty at the Owl House, Luz and Camila just wanted to have a normal visit. When they heard the door knocking, Luz answered and was pleased to see Amity at the front door. However, only 10 minutes later, another knock was heard, and this time, Camila answered it. She didn't expect to be there a green-haired woman she had never seen before.

This was Odalia, Amity's mother. At first, Camila was excited to meet her for the first time, as Amity hasn't once mentioned her. But when she mentioned that she wanted to talk to Amity because she didn't like that she was still dating Luz in their college years, Camila wasn't happy. Especially since she had met her ex-husband, Alador, who was very supportive of Lumity.

Camila took the argument outside because one look on everyone else's faces told her the reason why she never heard of her. Luz and Amity could still hear them arguing while everyone else was making lunch.

"I don't get it. Odalia's acting like a villain right now!" Luz exclaimed.

"That's because she is a villain. It took months for her to accept that I'm only interested in girls. And when I finally get my first girlfriend, you, she immediately disapproves of my choice because you're a human against her side." Amity responded.

"Amity. Did you ever fear that we wouldn't be this close in our relationship because of your mother?"

"When we first became girlfriends, there was a reason why I only wanted to tell my dad and siblings. I was afraid she would disapprove and I was right. I was happy that I had the support from everyone else. And given how much our relationship had evolved, I've been thinking of you as my soulmate"

"Me too, Amity" Luz responded before giving her a kiss, with Amity kissing back.

After they finished, Camila came back inside.

"She's gone. You can relax now" Camila revealed.

"Thank you, you're a hero, Mom" Luz replied before giving her a hug which Camila immediately returned.

I'm starting to get used to writing these daily rush stories. Hallelujah!
