I Don't Own Fnaf
Mike was shaking, not a lot, but enough to be noticeable, even to himself at he stared down at the thing he had discovered, though he wasn't sure yet if the shaking was from anger or something else, it didn't change the facts in front of him, as he stared down at the old and now obviously busted camera that he had found wedged into the plushy, connected to one of the bear's eyes.
Taking a deep breath in and out did nothing to really help. Mike always was bad at controlling his emotions, it took years to get him to the point where it simply took way more than an average person to wind him up, but once he was? It was very difficult to get himself back under control, his temper had always gotten the best of him when he was younger, but no matter how much he tried to curb that part of him after what it enabled him to do to Evan, it never really went away.
And it was flaring up like nothing else right now, anger was so much easier than confusion as he tried to figure out the point of this. Why had father done this? Because it had to be father, he was the only one who could have done it, but why? Why put cameras in Evan's toy of all things? What was the point? The kid took it everywhere with him, so maybe it was suppose to be a safety measure? One that was clearly pointless in the end, which was probably why Mike was so angry.
His father knew, he must have, the man wasn't blind, and with these cameras, he must have known exactly what Mike was like so why? Why the hell didn't the man stop him?
His head was hurting, and the worse part was knowing that he'd never be able to ask, he didn't even know if his father was still alive, no one did given Mike had been... making calls recently for some things that he'd really rather not think about while dealing with this weird and out of place bombshell.
In the end, Mike just yanked the camera out and tossed it into a garbage bag, he'd never have his answers about this, that was nothing new, but that didn't meant he had to stew over it right now. He really didn't want to think about it, his memories were too loud as they were these days already. With that he managed to find some old sowing equipment and managed to repair the cuts he put in to be able to get to the camera in the first place. Strange camera or not, Evan would probably like having his toy back, even if he might be a bit to old for it.
What a strange thought, another one that hit Mike out of no where, he hadn't asked, but it was some what clear that Evan, and probably the others as well, continued to age, at least mentally, while stuck in those suits. His little brother, who died on his ninth birthday, was going to be an adult, at least in number, within a few months. It was another thing that made his head hurt to think about.
Instead he just took the now back in one piece toy and headed to the diner, Fritz was there, working on a nearby table he had dragged in from the main room, it looked like a part of an endoskeleton, a head to be specific, apparently the man was working from the top down, which Mike was fine with, as long as it got done right?
He just moved past, the man hadn't noticed him yet, for being an occasional night guard, he sure wasn't aware of the things around him at times, as Mike just leaned down in front of the bear, waiting a moment until those eyes lit back up once more, as he gave Evan a smile before whispering to him.
"Hey buddy, I was at the house again and thought I'd pick up something for you to have while we're waiting" With that he pulled the plushy toy from his bag and watched as the suit seemed to shake for a moment, before stilling out again, the sound of Fritz letting out a yelp as he realized Mike was in the room, having turned to see what was getting the animatronic's attention, filling the air before Mike just leaned in and moved the suit's arm around enough to let Evan hold onto the bear as he said, slightly teasingly.
"You could be twins" He needed the jokes after the last hour of thoughts that he was still trying to escape from, thankfully the bear didn't mention anything about it, and instead Mike just watched as the arm seemed to twitch a bit, firming up against the suit's side, like Evan was trying to hold onto the bear more closely, as messed up as it was, it was almost cute, it made Mike remember times when he caught Evan curled up on the couch, watching the tv cartoons with wonderment in his eyes as he clung onto the bear in his hands.
"They had merch of Golden Freddy?" Mike just shrugged at Fritz's question.
"There wasn't much, the diner wasn't that popular after Juniors opened up, but Golden Fredbear was in that cartoon Freddy's had for a while so he did get some toys made out of him that were sold, unlike Spring Bonnie, they barely had any and weren't in anything, so it never took off" Mike did his best to not remember how upset his father had been about that, he loved that character, and Mike was trying his best to not think about the man at the moment. Fritz slowly just nodded, probably to busy remembering how horrible that old cartoon had been, it had been so cheesy that as a teenager Mike had nearly been embarrassed to even know it existed at all. Not quite enough to put off the pride of his family's business being so popular that it had a cartoon in the first place, but enough that he certainly never watched it much unlike his siblings who adored the show.
"I forgot about the cartoon, it aired for what? Three seasons?" Mike nodded, after that it got canceled for one reason or another, something he didn't remember as to why, given according to what he did remember it had been getting decent enough ratings, but like most things Mike hadn't really cared to pay much attention either "I was kind of way too old to watch it but I remember seeing a rerun or two when I was younger" Right, the man was a few years older than Mike was, and Mike himself was already a bit to old for the show's frankly a bit too young demographic when it started airing when he was around eleven, Fritz probably would have nearly been an adult by then.
"You weren't missing out on much, it was aimed as one of those teaching children lessons shows, like counting and stuff, the only interesting things I can remember were the specials, that's when Foxy went out and did something vaguely evil and the group went on an adventure to stop him. It was corny as hell, but it was good for a laugh when you're older. I think it helped Goldie here learn to do his numbers actually" He bumped the suit a bit and got a small static sound as a result, but it didn't hurt Mike's head to hear, so he took that as a good sign, even if the bear was a bit quieter than he usually was when Evan decided to make a sound.
"I'd say something about that being ironic but I think that'd be in bad taste" Mike snorted, just a bit, before he could help himself, glancing quickly at Evan, but he didn't seem to mind to much, or at least didn't react to it, which really could mean anything, so he shot him an apologetic look all the same, before saying back to Fritz.
"What are you working on at the moment anyways?" Fritz turned back to the metal head on the table and said.
"Nothing much, this is an older endoskeleton head that got... messed up a while ago, I figured it would work well enough, I just need to modify the base to be able to be attached to the springlock based endo that Goldie has, and then run a few things through to make sure it's moving right" Mike nodded, acting like he knew the details of what all that meant before glancing at Evan again, he hoped it wouldn't feel bad or anything for the kid, being what was basically a skull replacement didn't exactly sound comfortable for a normal person.
"Fun, I think, what about the others?" Fritz shrugged, looking suddenly much more uncomfortable, he had been adjusting to Evan quickly enough, but that was probably because Evan didn't exactly talk a lot and couldn't move even if he wanted to. While the others were the ones with actual body counts, things that Mike still hadn't really addressed and was unsure if he was allowed to judge on or not just yet given he wasn't exactly spotless either.
"Haven't been able to do much, I've been... talking to them, like you do, but it hasn't seemed to do much, I've been getting the things ready to put some... blockers on what all can go through their servos, but I have to be really careful, otherwise 'free roam mode' will be all the time mode, and while there isn't exactly a lot of patrons, I don't think any one who does come in wants to watch the father of the birthday boy get stuffed" Mike slowly nodded.
"Right, have you looked at Foxy? He's always half way there, it's mostly just his parts that seem to be the issue" Fritz shuddered a bit.
"I haven't, not all of us have a mask to use to build companionship, and I don't feel like risking a hook through my chest just because I got a bit to close without my name being Schmidt"
"You're in tomorrow right? I'll stick around, keep Foxy calm, let him know what's going to happen at least, you can look at him then if we think it's going to be safe. He's behind a curtain after all, he's the safest to work on outside of Goldie himself, and he's not even at the location" Fritz hesitated for a moment before sighing, giving in with a nod.
"Yeah, I guess that makes sense, we can do that tomorrow, in the mean time I need to get this done" Mike just nodded, before giving the man space to work. He... wasn't really sure what he was suppose to be doing now, so instead he just moved, leaving the room and decided to make a few more calls on his recently bought phone.
It was better to get it over with now, even if it didn't help him to escape his thoughts in the slightest.
Time began to blur together, if only because of suddenly he had a routine, do his shift, spend some extra time with Fritz to keep Foxy calm while he looked over the fox, sleep, wake up, find Fritz working on Evan, talk for a bit, make some calls, and then get ready for his next shift. The days blurred over the rest of the week, a few things happening of notice.
His third night of the week was much the same, nothing happened that was more than he could handle, he was hovering around forty power by the end of the night.
The fourth night, after Fritz showed up and they had a talk with Foxy something interesting did happen though, Foxy did another run, something that didn't happen the night before, and left another tap at the door, but once Mike opened it after he left, he found something left behind on the floor.
It was one of the pictures of the coloring book, the lines were barely colored in correctly, blue covered most of the page given it was one with a cartoonish beach and a ship in the water, of which it was also mostly blue, it was clear who had tried to color the pages in, and just who it was for. Mike felt himself smile until he realized he nearly allowed Bonnie to get into his office without noticing.
He still posted the picture over one of the dead monitors that was in his office all the same.
It gave him hope, even if the drawing itself was more than a little messy, Mike hardly minded.
The fifth night was harder, but Foxy had been the biggest issue to keep track of last week, he wasn't one any more, and so the night passed easily enough, well, it wasn't easy, but comparatively to what Mike has experienced from the gang, it was nothing. He was in for over time again, Fritz didn't seem to like the idea, but extra money was extra money.
He ran out of power that night, but only for about a minute, and by that point it hit six, and he was out without issue.
He still said goodbye to the crew as he went, another thing Mike had been doing, he had no idea if it was working or not, but it made him feel better.
Evan was still a bit quiet, he didn't like to talk, that much was clear, but he showed up more and more often, just sitting and listening when Mike and Fritz were around at the same time, the two finally falling into something more relaxed, though obviously not perfect. They talked, but they talked about nothing, neither going very deep into their lives, for Mike because, well, there wasn't exactly anything in his life that he'd even want to talk about, much less would be willing to. Fritz probably had his own reasons, probably revolving around the fact that Mike wasn't exactly what most would consider someone to spill your life story to.
Beyond that, Evan was getting... better, as much as the word could be used in a situation like this, Fritz was a miracle worker and it was clear there was a reason as to why he was the one that was forced back to get the animatronics back in working order the first time around, he was effective and fast at what he did. Managing to get the voice box more settled in, apparently the interference in Evan's voice was because Mike hadn't really known what he was doing. Who would have guessed?
It still came out with a robotic quality but it was better than before at least on the rare occasional Evan spoke at all. Beyond that, Fritz had managed to get the endo fully engaged in the suit after working on the springlocks that were holding certain pieces out of place, meaning Evan could... sort of move, with the parts that were functional enough to do so before Fritz moved to fix the rest, he had control over one of his arms and could sort of shrug now, as well as he could move his head with his new Endoskeleton head mount, and even had eyes, even if those eyes were two pinpricks of red than the floating white, but it was something.
Frankly, it was everything, seeing Evan slowly being able to move, as much as he didn't talk about it, it was clear he was excited about it, Mike could catch his brother occasionally moving, just a bit, like he was reminding himself he could do it now. It both made his heart soar and clench painfully at the same time to see.
Things seemed to be going well enough, of course that's when things began to fall apart.
It had to happen at some point, but Mike had been hoping for once things would just handle themselves, but of course that wasn't the case. It was shocking though just how things came down on them.
Fritz was the one who was fired, it came out of no where really, Mike's third week had started, he went through a few nights on shift, it was more trivial than worrying at this point as strange as it sounded, but then when he went to the diner, he found Fritz pacing around, a worried look over his face, and a pink slip in his hand, half crumpled into a paper ball with how hard he was clenching it.
Fritz claimed the company couldn't have known anything, and while Mike was worried about it, he didn't stress about it for a few more days, clearing out the rest of the week, building up a collection of new colored pictures from Foxy, who's hands had been repaired enough when Fritz had been working on him, to make it so the colors were mostly within the lines, all of which were now slowly replacing the grime caked children's drawings that had been hung up in the office for who knows how long.
And then Mike got his own pink slip, claiming odor and tampering of all things, he thought about fighting it, or pulling back into the blackmail thing, though at this point, it might not get him anything so he held back for another day, and that proved to be the right idea when in the papers the next morning it was announced that Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was shutting it's doors for the final time by the end of the month that they were already half way through.
Needless to say, that wasn't good, not in the slightest, apparently with everything going down, no one cared about a missing body that had yet to turn up or be reported. Damn companies and their lack of regard for human life.
Fritz was in a state about it, mostly because he needed that job to survive like most people did, while Mike had been getting uncomfortably refamiliarize with his childhood house, he doubted the man would want to crash with him, given... everything about the Afton household. Mike was honestly not to far behind the other man, this wasn't exactly great, they both had been hoping the company would hold off for a bit longer, but thankfully they still had a few weeks and the animatronics wouldn't be moved until the end of the month given that's when the doors would be shut.
All this firing was just cutting off loose ends and saving as much cash at the last possible moment for the greedy bastards running the show.
More than anything it just made Mike pissed, but he controlled himself, and he thought about what was happening. They couldn't just leave the animatronics in there, and his... plan wasn't yet ready, not in the way that he wanted it to be, but that didn't mean he could do nothing. He had to do something, the only problem was all that he could think about was fairly illegal.
Thankfully Fritz had an answer for him. Even if the man hadn't quite realized it just yet when they had been talking about the closing, Fritz had mentioned it.
"They did this before, fired off most of the staff and replaced them with temporary members that were only signed on for a few weeks, it let them basically price gouge the help to save on operation costs in the last few days of getting things wrapped up to be sold off or moved" It was the bitterness in which Fritz spoke that implied a history there of some kind, but that hadn't been what Mike caught on to.
"That's our in" Fritz blinked back, seemingly realizing Mike said something that made sense enough to pull him from his thoughts and gave the man a confused look.
"What in?"
"We need someone on the insides, it's just a pizzeria still, we can both go in, or at least I can, none of the day staff hardly know my face, and now they won't know yours either, but we still need someone on the night shift to be able to be there with the animatronics, and that can't be either of us, they won't hire me back on for obvious reasons and-" Fritz continued.
"And I'd rather kill myself than do another shift there, I still can't believe you willingly lasted three straight weeks" Mike just shrugged, ignoring the sudden pressure in the room at the joke Fritz made without knowing to not make it. Mike could feel the air around Evan become tense, he didn't handle the subject of death well, and Mike didn't like remembering anything about his... attempts when he had to focus on getting to the next day already.
One of his hands moved over to the other, absently pressing against his wrist as he spoke up.
"Meaning we need someone else, and I don't have anyone I would even think about trusting for this" Fritz paused, giving Mike a look, before suddenly his eyes widened, as he sputtered out.
"N-No! No way, I'm not going to drag him back into this!" Mike just shrugged.
"You have anyone else around in your back pocket that you can bring out to help us deal with haunted robots?"
"The man's missing a part of his skull Mike! You want to drag him back into the mess with Freddy's?" Mike hardly could have known about that, but it was a bit concerning to hear, before eventually shaking his head.
"Right, well, remind me to not make any bone jokes then, look we need someone else here to keep an eye on the four and make sure nothing happens during the night that we can't keep an eye on. Besides, you know we can get Foxy at the very least to look after him, and you've been making good strides on the others before hand right?" Fritz blinked before finally nodding.
"I guess? I shut down their main AI systems, it messes with their pathing mostly, making it harder for the bots to move without... 'outside' interference, which hardly anyone is going to notice given they don't leave the stage now, to try and get the kids up to the surface, but that doesn't mean they aren't dangerous, just not as much as they had been while we were coaching them on how to be human again" Mike gave a 'there you go' gesture before saying.
"Look, we need a night guard there, and Foxy is practically all the way there, and with the others pathing messed up, it'll be fine, besides he was already a night guard before right? He has experience which was more than I had and I'm pretty sure I've held the job longer than anyone else" Fritz scoffed at that.
"Yeah, well your also missing your self preservation so don't give yourself too big of a pat on the back" Mike conceded the point without much of a fight, it certainly helped keep focus during the nights when you only passively cared about being hurt or killed. Fear could hold a person back a lot.
"My point stands, besides didn't he want to help the kids anyways? That's why he emotionally blackmailed you into sticking around, NDAs not withstanding of course" Fritz shot Mike a dirty look at that before finally sighing.
"No, you're probably right, he'd want to know, I just... Don't want to bring him back into all of this, he's had a rough go of it in the last few years because of this damn place already"
"So did you keep in touch then?" Fritz just shrugged.
"Not really, we... talked occasionally, but it's been months since we even called each other, people just fade away, he wanted distance while he recovered and I... didn't want to think to hard about it all" Mike managed a nod, mostly because it sounded like he'd be getting his way in the end, and that's regrettably what he mostly cared about here.
"Then give him a call, catch up and then tell him what's been going on, ask if he wants back into the fold" Fritz sighed before shooting him a look, a sharp one that was a bit to perspective.
"And if he says no?" Mike just shrugged.
"Then we find something else" He knew what he'd have to do, but Mike really didn't want to do it, not to mention the plan wasn't even ready yet, it would be a massive pain to begin with trying to get things in order behind the scenes quietly. It was only thanks to knowing more than a few shady lawyers that happened to have even more shady relatives that Mike happened to... Work with in the past that he was able to get anywhere with all this.
He definitely was coming out of this owing more than he'd like, a favor or two, but Mike had managed to get around it by mostly paying with his checks, in cash, and getting around the lack of money by being as cheap as possible. His habit of being homeless meant it wasn't that hard, especially since he had a place to stay so it was mostly just feeding himself.
The fact that Mike was out of a job wasn't great though, he'd have to look into getting another one in the mean time. Fritz, given he was fired before him, had already sent in a number of applications, and was clearly worried about it. Mike himself was mostly just thinking about what the hell he could do for a job, he's had plenty of experience working things like bussing tables and working as a cashier, jobs that didn't exactly require much experience or education, it's how he survived this long after he was released from prison nearing on about five years ago at this point.
But another part of him thought about maybe going for something else in the mean time.
So as Fritz moved into the main part of the diner to head outside to have that phone call, apparently deciding to get it over with as soon as possible, Mike grabbed the collection of slowly growing newspapers that Fritz had been bringing over, and began to see if there was any guard positions open that had an opening in the job listing section of the paper.
Sure, it wouldn't be as... exciting, as working at Freddy's, but Mike liked to think if anything came out of working there for nearly a month straight it was that he was pretty damn good at being an attentive and alert guard, and dealing with a human causing problems would be so much easier than having to deal with murderous animal robots that was for sure. He knew how to handle people better than animatronics as well, given his normal habit when it came to the latter was to throw things at them while running in the opposite direction.
Eventually he did find a listing that interested him, it was at some tech company that was around the edge of what could be considered down town Hurricane, it wasn't exactly close by, but Mike was already taking the bus for transportation anyways, it wouldn't be that different. Hopefully he could get it, he technically didn't have much experience on record, given Mike Schmidt didn't exist two months ago, but Mike could probably talk his way into it if he had to.
The pay was certainly better anyways and that just helped him be a bit more certain about the decision when there was a sudden crackling of static as Mike glanced up and looked over at Evan, who was looking up at him, something that the teen hadn't been able to do not even two weeks ago, as Mike smiled a bit before quickly moving over, clearly seeing that his brother wanted to talk about something.
"Hey bud, been listening in huh?" After a short moment he spoke up.
"What are you going to do?" Mike blinked before asking.
"You mean about to keep the animatronics from being scrapped?" The bear jerked a bit and Mike took that as a nod as he explained simply, "Legal stuff, don't worry about it, it's boring more than anything, but if it works out no one should be able to touch the four, much less sell them off. What about you though? Worried about them?" The bear was silent for a long moment before finally saying.
"It's happened before" Mike frowned, there was... an emotion in there that Mike hadn't heard the voice box in his brother's chest make before, mostly because the thing didn't do well with conveying emotions at all, so it said something that it leaked through at all.
"What's happened?"
"Them being taken, the others were destroyed" It took Mike a minute to figure out what that meant before finally with a lightbulb going off, he asked curiously.
"You mean the toy line? I only ever heard about them, saw a picture of the three" He hadn't thought much what would have happened to those animatronics, to busy thinking about the ones in front of him.
"They were... decommissioned" The way Evan said that implied more than Mike liked to think about, the idea that there was suddenly more, more spirits that had already been... whatever would have happened to them with their forms being destroyed. It was like a punch to the chest, one that Mike had to confirm.
"Were they..." Evan knew what he was asking, and answered bluntly.
"They were like us... they are gone now" Mike felt ill again, but managed to push the feelings down, he hadn't known, he couldn't have known, but it still felt like a failure burning suddenly in his chest, gripping at his organs and pressing against them like a vice to a point of near physical pain. He managed to choke out.
"I-... I'm sorry E- Goldie. I'm sorry this happened, I-" Mike wasn't sure what he was about to say, whatever it was probably would have just been his guilt leaking through, saying sorry for something he couldn't have been around to help with, the restaurant with the toy animatronics went under back in '87, Mike didn't know exactly when, so for all he knew he could have just been released or even still in jail, he couldn't have done anything, but the idea of doing nothing still ate at him.
But before he could the suit in front of him let out a sharp static sound cutting him off, as he stared at Evan for a moment, wondering if it had been from the near slip with Evan's name, before the bear continued to speak.
"Don't let it happen again" Mike gulped, the sound of his younger brother's voice seem to increase in intensity, to the point it felt like a faint pounding to the front of Mike's head, as he finally managed to nod, the movement came easy.
"Of course not, never again Goldie" The suit stilled after that, Mike thought maybe he went back to sleep, or whatever Evan did when he wasn't in full control of the suit, but it turns out that it was just because he didn't want to talk any longer because Fritz was suddenly coming back into the room with a displeased look on his face. Mike immediately knew what that meant as he felt his face twist into a small self satisfied smile as he said.
"So, Jeremy's on board then?" Fritz just shot Mike a glare.
"Oh don't be smug about this" Mike just let the smile fall more in line with a smirk as Fritz just groaned.
The two still weren't friends, but you could only spend so much time around another person in circumstances like this without bonding in some way. It just happen, Mike himself wasn't quite sure just what he thought about that just yet, but he didn't mind as much as he thought he would. Fritz was dependable at the very least, and that was better than most of the people Mike has had in his life over the last few years, hell it was better than Mike had been himself.
Still, Fritz let out a defeated groan before saying.
"Damn man is still too freaking nice. He'll come by tomorrow if that's ok" Mike glance glanced at his brother, waiting on a response, and when he didn't get one he took it as a silent agreement if Evan wasn't actively objecting, gave Fritz a nod who just sighed again, clearly unsure about all of this as Mike finally said.
"If he didn't want to do this, then he would have said so, besides if Jeremy can't handle it then he can just sit it out, but I can't imagine someone who's aware about all this not wanting to at least hear what we've been up to" Fritz seemed to take that a bit better, as he nodded, a bit of the tension in his shoulders leaking out, just a tad as he said.
"You're right, just... I can't forget what it was like following the bite, that's not really something you can forget about, I guess it's messing with my view of him, which really isn't fair to Jeremy given how hard he's worked to get his life back to normal" Mike understood a bit to well just what Fritz was talking about, the sudden parallels between Mike and Evan to the situation between Fritz and Jeremy weren't lost on him, they were obviously different in a lot of ways, but in others they were to similar.
Both had been bitten, only Jeremy survived and Evan hadn't.
Expect one had been murder and the other... Well, actually knowing what he did now, it might not be to far off to say it was attempted murder on the animatronics' part. Didn't change the idea of it though, just made it harder on Mike's already stressed mind.
Though one thing was sure, Mike was probably taking the understanding that Fritz and Jeremy were probably the only people involved in all of this, animatronics included, that didn't have a body count of some time. He wondered briefly just what the man, who as now lightly pacing, though with a notebook in his hands, writing down something, thought about that, before deciding he really shouldn't bring it up, Fritz was already flightily enough, besides the best left unsaid about Mike's past the better.
A small part in the back of Mike's mind reminded him that Fritz had no doubt dealt with more deaths, those being of the night guards, than anything Mike had seen or dealt with first hand and he probably wasn't giving the other man enough credit, but he pushed the thought away, Mike's mind going somewhere else.
Things were going to be moving quickly, and things were more unpredictable than Mike appreciated, but nothing was actually all that worrying, not really at least which was why he wasn't panicking nearly as much as Fritz had been. Mike had a plan to make sure the animatronics would stay safe that was on it's way to being completed, they would have another guard soon, and while Mike wasn't actually all that sure about this Jeremy just yet, he did know Fritz and he trusted the man about as much as he could trust anyone,
Honestly, out of everything, the only thing that truly shocked Mike was that he could keep the animatronics safe in the first place.
He had been so sure it wouldn't work out, but now things were already in progress and that surprised him more than anything, but as he was learning, he didn't seem to have nearly as good an understanding of his father has he thought he did. Still, as all things stand everything was moving faster than he liked for it to have, but it was nothing that they couldn't handle, if Mike was still in this alone, then he'd be a lot more caught up in everything, not to say he wasn't stressed now, but it was... manageable.
Whatever would be coming next wouldn't be, but for right now, for once, as crazy as it seemed, Mike wasn't worried.
If anything, he was relieved to know that Fazbear Entertainment was going under. They certainly didn't deserve to keep going at this point that was for sure.
Jeremy is going to be arriving soon! Lovely isn't it, he'll be fun to write, but that's for later when he's been introduced, for now I wanna talk about something else. Kind of a weird time to mention it, but I wanted to put this somewhere and this is a good enough time as ever I guess before I go into other, actually relevant, things about this chapter. So, we all know Mike looks basically like a copy of William right? No debate, it's kind of a thing at this point, even the man's own kid couldn't tell the two apart in canon. And here's the thing, I've mentioned here the same thing, but I've also mentioned just how massive Mike is right? Like, I see this guy standing at least around 6'3 to 6'4 kind of giant in this story, because if you've ever looked into heights in fnaf, it's insane, Springtrap is fucking massive, at a conversative estimation, the man inside that suit must be at least around seven feet tall according to the people who've done the measurements, which is fucking wild, meaning if anything, he's being described as just pretty tall is an understatement. MIke's obviously not that tall, makes no sense, but it's a fully visual. Still, yeah, Mike is pretty tall and some what filled out enough that he doesn't look like a string bean. Just wanted to mention that because the heights in these game are insane and I needed more people to know that.
Beyond that, still with Will and his shit, the camera, this is mostly just set up and references for the time being more than anything really, so I don't really want to mention much more than that at the moment given here it was mostly about Mike and his thoughts on his family, again, nothing new or fresh here. Evan is getting repaired and everything, that's pretty cool, we also skipped some time around because let's be honest, doing a day to day kind of progress for this would be incredibly boring. Foxy is still weird, still wonder what's going on there, weird that one of the most hostile animatronic's is weirdly fine with Mike. Very weird... Oh well, it's probably fine! See ya!
