As Riley came down the stairs, Adrian exited the kitchen to tell Eddie it was time for lunchtime. Adrian moved forward to the stairs and said, "Guardian Belikov, Christian, and Guardian Tanner took my great aunt Tatiana to her doctor's appointment." Abe looked at the young guardian, knowing that he had arrived at the right address. Janine asked, "Is Riley home?" Eddie just looked at both of them. Adrian stepped out in the hallway and said, "Guardian Castile, please invent Mr. Mazur and Guardian Hathaway inside." Eddie stepped to the side, opening the door wider, and said, "Please come inside." Abe stepped inside, followed by Janine.
Abe looked at the house to see how homely it was as he moved forward, and he could see the prices piece letting him know that Riley's address had come to stand in front of Adrian. Eddie had closed the front door, picked up the package, and started following Abe and Janine down the hall. Adrian asked, It's great to see both again." "May I ask why both of you came here?" Soon, Abe, Janine, Eddie, and Adrian took their seats at the table for lunch. When Eddie and Riley arrived, the front door was open. Riley said, "I will be right back and check who comes through the front door." Adrian nodded his head as he reached for lunch. Eddie stood up and walked over to the door frame with Riley.
Riley and Eddie could see it was Christian, Dimitri, Mikhail, and Tatiana coming through the front door. Riley said, "Keep them in the kitchen until we have her in the living room." Eddie said, "Alright!" Riley walked over to Christian, Dimitri, Mikhail, and Tatiana with a smile on her face. Christian knew something was up and asked, "What's going on?" Riley said, "My mother, father have arrived, sitting in the kitchen having lunch with Adrian and Eddie.
Both Mikhail and Dimitri looked at each other and couldn't believe that Janine and Abe came to find Riley. Tatiana said, "Don't worry, I will speak with them in the living room." Tatiana took Riley's arm to help her to the living room. While Dimitri and Mikhail walked into the kitchen to face music. Dimitri and Mikhail walked into the kitchen to find Janine and Abe sitting at the table with Adrian.
Adrian looked up and asked, "Did everything go alright?" Mikhail said, "Everything with her is right on scale, and everything checks out." Adrian said, That's good news." Abe and Janine stopped eating and started listening, trying to find out what they were talking about. Eddie entered the kitchen and said, "Everyone, Riley is ready to tell you the truth that is being hidden from everyone." Abe thought it was odd that his daughter couldn't just tell him what was going on.
Adrian, Janine, and Abe stood up from the dinner table as they exited the dining room to notice that Dimithi and Makhail had already disappeared from the kitchen. Janine asked, "What is going on?" Eddie turns to face Janine said, "Soon both of you will understand the truth that is being hidden from everyone and understand why Riley can't return to court." Janine looked at Abe before fallowing Eddie into living room.
(Living room)
As soon as Abe and Janine enter the living room, they find Dimitri standing on the right side of the sofa, Mikhail standing on the other side of the sofa, and Riley standing behind the sofa while someone sits on the sofa with a blanket covering her legs. Abe and Janine's eyes moved to the sofa to see someone they didn't expect sitting on the sofa. Both of them realized that Queen Tatiana was alive, making their mouths pop open in surprise that was hidden from everyone.
Adrian moved next to his great aunt and sat down next to her. Tatiana said, "Nice to meet you, Guardian Hathaway and Mr. Mazur, and close your mouths." Abe and Janine's mouths snapped close. Janine stepped forward and bowed before Queen Tatiana, as Abe moved up and bowed to the queen. Abe could understand why everyone was speaking code to hide the truth.
Tatiana said, "Rise, Guardian Hathaway, and Mr. Mazur. We have a lot to discuss." Both Janine and Abe stood back up and waited for the queen to speak. Tatiana said, "First off, you need to understand the truth that is being hidden from everyone." "Almost four years ago, Riley was on a covert mission in Siberia, Baia, Russia, to deal with strigoi that had invaded the area." "I sent orders to have Riley return to court for a new covert mission to take my place as Queen until I could return to the crown."

Titiana said, "Because Riley has battle experiences, a level head, is loyal, true, brave, gifted, intelligent, and has a kind heart." "The Moroi's would fight over the crown while a Dhampier's would understand and listen to my order even if I was on the sidelines."
Tatiana said, "Someone at Royle Court wants to make sure I can't return to the crown." "So they made Riley look like she had assigned me." Adrian and everyone turn to Riley to discover Riley frozen in place with a blank look on her face. Christian came into the living room carrying a tray of tea, snacks and noticed everyone was looking at Riley. Christian knew it was Riley was having a vision. Dimitri moved closer to Riley in case she fell, saw Riley's eyes before she started blinking, and looked at everyone and said, "There's going to be an attack on the Royle court in the next hour."
Riley reached into her pocket, dialed a number that she hadn't used in two years, and called her sister. After three rings, Rose answered and said, "Guardian Hathaway." Riley said, "Hey, sissy! Vasilissa asked, "Rose, what's going on?" Rose said, "Strigoi attack on Royle Court!" Vasilissa looked surprised and said, "How does Riley know about the attack on court?" Rose said, "I don't know." "But I trust my sister's gut feeling." "Normal; they are always on the mark." "So why are you questioning them now?" Vaslissa said, "Rose, I am scared."
Rose put the telephone to her ear and said, "Riley!" Riley said, "Call you back in a few hours." "I have business to finish with Baba and Mama." Rose said, "Good luck, and we're waiting on your call." Rose hung up the telephone and knew soon they would speak to her sister again.
