Posting this chapter, a day early because I will be out of town and wanted to post it.

As the months go by Nyssa and Graham get discouraged about the Doctor ever returning to help get Manisha back. "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know, do we know of anyone that we can trust with this that will not say anything that could Ace. I hate seeing her hurt."

"I don't know Graham." They sit back when Graham's phone goes off with a personalized ringtone.

"What song is that?" Nyssa doesn't recognize it.

"She Blinded Me With Science, it makes me think of Ace."

"She does like chemistry."

"The two of us sure do have chemistry, and I love helping her make more Nitro."

"Anything to get to spend more time with her right?"

"Right."

"We are going to find a way to get Manisha."

"I know."

"You know when that happens you may not see Ace for a few days."

"I know, but she will have her daughter again, her smile when she sees her again will be enough for me."

"You know after hugging her daughter she is going to give you one big kiss."

"All I care about is getting her daughter back. The photos I have seen of the two, her eyes are so bright."

"In the past few years, yes, a little before you came around, light has returned to her eyes."

"I am glad to hear that, her happiness is important to me."

"It was around the time she started helping out UNIT."

"She does enjoy fighting the bad ones," Graham's eyes start to sparkle thinking of their most recent encounter and what happened later."

"I do not want to know the reason behind that look."

"Don't worry, I won't say anything. I should probably call Ace back." Graham takes out his phone, "hello Dear."

"Hello Graham."

"I was just talking to Nyssa."

"Any update."

"I wish there was; you have no idea how much I wish there was."

"Oh.''

"I hate that we don't have anything."

"Graham, you are lovely for doing what all you have been doing for me."

"I just want you to be happy."

"I am happy Graham, you are one of the parts of helping me be happy. A Charitable Earth is too."

"I."

"Graham, I love you, but please understand you make me happier than I have been in the past decade."

"I am glad to hear that. You should know that I never expected to be this happy again."

"I am also glad to hear that. I gotta go, the show Tegan and I went to, the intermission is about to end."

"Enjoy your show, I love you."

"I will, and try not to stress too much, I love you too." Graham hangs up and Nyssa looks at him.

"How much does she know?"

"When she found out about what we are doing, I promised her I will tell her as much truth about what was going on as possible.''

"Ok, I am going to try the Doctor too."

"I hope it reaches the TARDIS, I have left many messages."

"What if they all reach the Time Lord at the same time."

"Then they will have around 100 messages from me."

"What?!"

"Since you told me about you needing someone with experience with interdimensional travel I have been calling almost every day."

"Graham!"

"What."

"You need to be patient.

"The woman I want to.." Graham stops what he is saying realizing something for the first time that he can imagine marrying Ace, but wants to wait until her daughter is here. Nyssa smiles at what Graham almost slipped out.

"The woman you want to what?"

"Umm."

"Marry," Nyssa suggests.

"I guess so, I didn't realize that."

"Some people do realize things when they just blurt it out."

"I also want to wait until Manisha is back. Ace deserves everyone she loves and holds dear at her wedding. That is if she says yes."

"Oh she will. You two have been together for a year now, have gone away together how many times now?"

"Around 5."

"When was the first time the two of you went away together?"

"When we celebrated our 6 month anniversary, we have gone on a few long weekends since then."

"A few, Graham, it has only been about 6 months since your 6 month anniversary."

"I know next month Ace and I are going to France for our 1- Year."

"So going to the city of love."

"We do love each other."

"Are the two of you going to move in with each other?"

"I want to."

"But not at your flat?"

"If we get Manisha back it won't be big enough for 4 people."

"You are thinking of so much."

"I know, how can I not."

"Ace means that much to you."

"She does." Nyssa knows when they see each other next that she has to ask Ace when she is going to ask Graham to move in. "Where are we meeting them again for dinner?"

"Tegan suggested a nice café right next to the theatre."

"When should we leave?"

"How far are they into the second act?"

"I don't know, maybe 45 minutes."

"Soon, so we can get a table." They clean up their work area and start to head out.

When they arrive they see Tegan and Ace coming out of the theatre. The four of them meet in the middle of the sidewalk. Both couples share a quick kiss and hold hands with their partner and walk to the café. "Table for 4 please."

"It may be a bit of a wait, you can sit over there," they pointed to a set of chairs. They go and sit over there. Tegan and Nyssa watch as Ace and Graham start to play with each other's hands.

"Soooo," Nyssa starts changing her mind to bring it up now, "when are the two of you going to move in together, it is approaching your 1 Year."

Ace looks up at Nyssa then Graham, she was looking at their hands. "I would love to have Graham move in with me, it will save a bunch, because we already spent a lot of time together."

"Everyday right?"

"Everyday, he is either at mine, or I am at his."

"You sure you are ok with me moving in with you Ace."

Leaning closer to him to where their lips are barely touching, "I would love for you to move in with me," she closes the last few inches as she gives him a kiss.

"When can I move in?"

"After France?"

"France?" Tegan doesn't know about the trip.

Facing her friend, "next month Graham and I are going on a week's vacation to France to celebrate our 1 year anniversary."

"Is this your longest relationship Ace?"

"It is, it was worth the wait." Someone comes up to them and they enjoy their meal.
