Toshinori's Choice

Chapter sixteen: Rescue Mission part three

Toshinori, with all of his pro hero allies with him at the Battle of Kamino Ward, looked up in worry as Dabi's call had summoned Usagi the Rabbit-Earred Giantess. The Symbol of Peace had just slain All For One, same as he did in the alternate timeline, but Toshinori could tell he was running on fumes right now. Usagi's arrival to the battlefield indicated that things were going to get infinitely more difficult for the heroes. However, what brought Toshinori equal amounts of relief and confusion was the fact that, in the alternate timeline, the events of the Battle of Kamino Ward served as the debut of both of Dabi's elite bodyguards.

Looking to Dabi, All Might scoffed. "So this is the Rabbit-Earred Giantess I got word about. Figures you villains would bring a trump card to-"

"Holy crud!" Usagi cried out suddenly, cutting Toshinori off. Looking down at Dabi, Usagi pointed at the heroes and said, "Look, Mr. Dabi! Mirko's here! Can you believe it that the coolest hero ever is here?" Usagi was also hopping up and down like an excited child, although her size made said jumping quake the ground a bit as she IS a fifteen-hundred plus centimeter tall steel skinned multi-armed colossus. This did NOT occur in the alternate timeline's events of the Battle of Kamino Ward, but then again the only notable heroes of rank there were All Might, Endeavor, and Best Jeanist.

The heroes, seeing Usagi fangirl over Mirko being there, were momentarily caught off guard, Mirko herself especially so. "The... big bad bodyguard for the boss villain's successor is a fan of mine?" Mirko asked, a tad too shocked to show any of her usual attitude.

Over at the villains, Dabi said, "Look Usagi, I know you're excited that your idol's here, but she's one of our enemies too. Don't you see how she's on Endeavor's team?"

Curious, Usagi turned back to look at the heroes and, indeed, saw that Endeavor was among them. "Hey!" Usagi said, "What are you doing here, Endeavor?! What, did you come here because you knew I'm wanting to kick your butt so you wanna get your punishment out of the way?"

"Punishment?" Endeavor barked, "What are you on about, you villainous woman?!"

Looking confused, Usagi said, "Woman? What do you mean?" Briskly shaking her head, Usagi said, "Forget that for now, Imma just go ahead and kick your butt now, Endeavor!" The Rabbit-Earred Giantess then ran towards the heroes, making a clear beeline for the Flame Hero who did indeed look a tad alarmed to see so large of a villainess charge right at him.

Luckily for the heroes, Mt. Lady who recovered was able to rush in and intercept Usagi. Despite Usagi's great height, Mt. Lady had a few hundred centimeters on her, giving the pro hero a height advantage. Mt. Lady punched forward with both fists, but Usagi caught them with her upper hands, then used her lower hands to punch the giant pro hero in the gut as her lower fists were encased in spheres of rainbow-colored energy. Toshinori never saw the rainbow energy fist quirk used by Usagi back in the alternate timeline, and figured that it was one of her quirks that wasn't identified.

Regardless, Mt. Lady was thrown back by the force of Usagi's rainbow punches, landing on her back outside of the battlefield with a ground quaking thud. Usagi then turned her attention back to Endeavor. The Rabbit-Earred Giantess rushed the Flame Hero, and the other pro heroes who tried to intercept Usagi were caught off guard by the other villains. This left Usagi free to face Endeavor as she raised her right leg up and delivered a powerful front-facing axe kick in an attempt to strike Endeavor, shouting, "Luna Arc!" as she tried hitting him.

Mirko, after kicking Gentle back, turned her head when she heard Usagi call the name of the attack she used just now to try and strike Endeavor. "Hey, that's my move!" Mirko shouted, "Villain stole my move!"

Back at the fight between Endeavor and Usagi, the Flame Hero had barely dodged the Luna Arc from the Rabbit-Earred Giantess as he flew up, but a stream of blue flames from Dabi intercepted the stream of flames Endeavor tried casting at Usagi. Toshinori was able to shoulder ram Usagi away, sending her flying a bit although when she landed on the ground she was able to pick herself back up. "You have a rather powerful subordinate there, Dabi," Toshinori said as he landed after ramming Usagi away, "My intel did not lie."

Dabi's eyes narrowed out of suspicion. "...Yeah, you said you got word about Usagi. I guess it's because some of the kids from the training camp told you."

"I also got word that you have more than just your Rabbit-Earred Giantess," Toshinori said, "So fess up now, villain!" Giving Dabi a serious look, the Symbol of Peace went on, "...Where's your Dragon of Destruction?"

Dabi's eyes widened a bit out of surprise, but they soon settled back into casting a suspicious glare. "...So, what the boss man said before you killed him was right. There is an intel leak. Well, don't you worry All Might, Usagi's counterpart was sent to visit the suspected source of said intel leak. He'll be having his own fun while the rest of us here have our dance."

"Hey wait," Usagi said, "How come All Might knows about big brother?"

Gently shaking his head, Dabi said, "We'll be finding out about that soon enough, Usagi. For now, we and the rest of us have to fend off All Might, Endeavor, and all of their playmates that they brought along."

Toshinori scowled bitterly, having just confirmed that both of Dabi's ultimate bodyguards from the alternate timeline were able to appear in the current one here. The villains had to be stopped here and now, lest they get a foothold that would allow them to bring about the bad future that will await if the heroes fail to win in end.

Dabi tried casting more blue flames at All Might and Endeavor, but a powerful punch from the Symbol of Peace sent the air in front of him flying forward to push the flames back, as well as still have enough air pressure to push Dabi back. However, due to him focusing on Dabi, Toshinori heard it as Dabi's bodyguard continued to go on the attack to try and strike Endeavor. A punch from Usagi's upper left fist, encased in the rainbow colored energy, was able to barely clip the Flame Hero, sending him tumbling in the air before he righted himself.

Usagi tried to deal another rainbow power fist attack at Endeavor, but stopped short when she heard Mirko call out, "Oi, Iron Giant!" Hearing Mirko call out to her made Usagi instantly take pause, turn to face where Mirko was standing on top of a pile of rubble. The Rabbit Hero, as opposed to being rough and inconsiderate towards villains as she usually is, was actually planning to try a kinder, more diplomatic approach towards dealing with the Rabbit-Earred Giantess. Mirko figured it was worth a shot, and that it was possible as Usagi had clearly shown herself as a fan of Mirko's.

With Usagi's focus on her, Mirko said, "Can I ask you something? Why is it exactly that you wanna kick Endea-"

*WOOSH*

Mirko was cut off when Endeavor cast a blast of fire directly at Usagi, striking her along the left side of her head. "AHHH!" Usagi cried out. Turning to face Endeavor, the Rabbit-Earred Giantess shouted, "Hey! Mirko's trying to talk to me! I'll kick your butt in a minute, Endeavor!"

"Like hell any villain will ever be good enough to defeat me!" Endeavor boasted.

"Oi, Endeavor!" Mirko shouted at the Flame Hero, "Settle the hell down, why don't you?! I'm actually trying to ask the big girl here something important! Just trust me!"

"Like hell I'll stop attacking the big villain!" Endeavor snarled, "She same as the rest of them are going down and will be thrown right into a jail-cell where they belong!" Endeavor then cast another blast of fire at Usagi, but she blocked it with a fist encased in rainbow colored energy.

After Endeavor's attack ceased, Usagi lowered her hand. "...You're mean, Endeavor," Usagi said, "First you kill my mommy and daddy in that accident near UA, then you have said incident blamed on Mr. Compress, and NOW you're trying to arrest me and Mr. Compress and Mr. Dabi and the rest of us! What, we aren't allowed to have a nice time because we aren't friends with you?"

"Hol' up," Mirko said, "What do you mean Endeavor killed your parents and blamed it on a villain?"

"Yes, Usagi!" All Might spoke up, wanting to hear more of where this was going, "Care to elaborate?"

Pointing at Endeavor, Usagi said, "Endeavor attacked Mr. Compress, then chased after him, he created a huge accident on the highway near UA, and then blamed the accident on Mr. Compress who got away!"

"It was the villain I was trying to beat down who caused that accident!" Endeavor barked, "I would never-"

"Do you really think that I," Mr. Compress spoke up after evading Yoroi Musha who was then rushed by Spinner, "A man whose quirk only lets him compress things down and hold them until he decided to release them, could throw around fires and blasts that wrecked the surrounding area?"

"You hush your mouth, villain!" Endeavor barked, "Nothing but slander will come out of you!"

"Mr. Compress isn't lying," Usagi said as she gently shook her head, "There's no way he could have caused that incident, so it had to have been you! You're the one who killed my mommy and daddy, Endeavor! And now, I'm going to kick your butt and avenge them!"

As Usagi rushed Endeavor with all four of her fists glowing with rainbow energy, Mirko hopped back to side with All Might. "Yeah, I was going to ask her why she wants to kick Endeavor's ass," said the Rabbit Hero, "But I guess getting the answer this way works too."

Toshinori, as he looked on, scowled bitterly. Usagi's reasons, as well as the reasons of Dabi's other elite bodyguard, never came up in the alternate timeline. But then again the Symbol of Peace was never able to really get either of Dabi's elite bodyguards talking. Mirko, however, was able to get Usagi talking, and thanks to that they were eventually able to get it that Usagi's parents are victims of the traffic accident on the highway near UA. They also learned that, despite the official word on the issue from the HPSC, it was seeming very likely that it was Endeavor, and not Mr. Compress, who is the party responsible for the twenty-plus crashed vehicles and forty-plus innocent deaths.

Toshinori had an all time low opinion of the Flame Hero now, but that did not change the fact that Endeavor was still (technically) a hero, one helping with fighting off Dabi and his brood there in the Battle of Kamino Ward. They could talk about things later, but for now defeating the villains was priority number one. And All Might, with what embers of One For All he had left, was the only hero on that battlefield capable of defeating Usagi. He readied the attack that, in the alternate timeline, he used to defeat Usagi although there she was able to walk it off. Hopefully this time it will knock her out for a bit longer as he has a little more juice left.

After he had finished charging up, Toshinori shouted, "OI, USAGI!" The Rabbit-Earred Giantess stopped short from striking Endeavor, stood up and turned to face the direction the call for her came from. As such, she saw it as All Might, Japan's number one ranked hero, leapt up at her, his right fist pulled back as every last ounce of power, strength, and energy his tired form was able to muster up was charged into that fist. He then reached Usagi and struck her upside the head with the strongest move that he had in his arsenal.

"UNITED STATES OF SMASH!"

The steel skinned multi armed colossus was sent flying back, similar to how she had sent Mt. Lady flying back earlier. Usagi hit the ground with a loud, powerful, quaking thud that kicked up a huge cloud of dust. From the looks of it, she had been knocked out, although Toshinori as he felt the last of his One For All embers within him fade was able to tell full well that Usagi will eventually get back up. It was as Toshinori was in the air that he truly ran out of power, and he shrunk down from his buff form to his skinny form, revealing to all who saw what he truly looked like.

As Toshinori fell, Gran Torino zoomed up and caught him, lowering back down as he carried his old pupil. The large amounts of dust kicked up by Usagi still blocked her form from view, but her silhouette was seen, and people saw it as she shrank down. Most of the heroes were exhausted, and some looked like they wouldn't be getting back up. As such, none of them were able to stop it as Rappa went into the dust cloud as Dabi stood by with the other villains still active. "Well, we were able to get all of our knocked out fellows compressed for easy transport," Dabi said, "I guess this is where we have to end our dance, heroes."

"Like hell you're getting away, villains!" Endeavor roared, "I'll have you all defeated yet and at my mercy!"

Dabi scoffed at Endeavor as Rappa came out of the dust carrying a fair skinned little girl with four arms. It was Usagi but without Steel or Gigiantification active. The heroes couldn't get a good look at her, though. "Me and mine need to bail as we got some wounds to lick," Dabi said, "And some of yours look like they're hurting rather badly as well. It even seems your strongest hero All Might is tapped out. We're both reeling, so I think it's best we allow ourselves to rest, recover, and regroup." Kurogiri was then able to create a large swirling portal behind him and the others. "We'll be seeing you yet, heroes. Later."

Dabi and his group then fled into the portal Kurogiri created, effectively ending the Battle of Kamino Ward. The helicopters overhead caught everything on camera, and as such they showed it what All Might truly looked like. The Battle of Kamino Ward served as an end for a number of things; the assurance of the heroes always being able to fend off the villains, the trust the people have in the powers that be who ran things, and of course All Might's career as a pro hero. Toshinori, as he was held in the arms of Gran Torino, knew that this was the end of his journey as a hero.

But the real battle was about to begin.

...

Over at the hospital, the rest of Class 1-A had just seen everything on a TV screen in the main lobby as Mina, Jiro, and Hagakure walked in with Yaoyorozu. "Hey guys, guess who just rescued Momo?" Mina called out, getting everyone to turn to face them.

"You... you girls went to rescue Momo?!" Ojiro said, "Don't you know how dangerous that could have been?"

"Relax, we never came to any real harm," Jiro said, "Oh, and by the way, us girls are gonna need all of you to agree to keep this between us. We don't want any of the teachers finding out abo-"

"Uraraka and Asui when they noticed you three were missing told me and I phoned Aizawa-sensei about it," Shinso interrupted, "You girls are in so much trouble."

Turning to look at Ochaco and a distracted looking Tsuyu, Hagakure said, "Girls, what the heck is with you two?! We were trying to save Yaoyorozu! Isn't that important to you?"

"The heroes could have handled it, girls," Ochaco pointed out, "You three were needlessly risking your lives!"

Rolling his eyes, Shinso said, "If it helps you three, you aren't the only ones in trouble. Uraraka and Asui tried telling Kayama-sensei but she refused to even hear them out despite how they told her it was urgent. I suspect Aizawa-sensei will rip Kayama-sensei a new one."

"Wait," Kirishima spoke up as he, Kaminari, and Sero stood nearby, "Is THAT why Uraraka and Asui were trying to speak with Kayama-sensei earlier?"

"I did NOT expect to hear that when the lads here and I finally got out from under Kayama-sensei's watchful eye," Sero said, "But then again, the news report we saw showed us a LOT that we didn't expect."

Looking curious, Yaoyorozu asked, "Like what?"

Jerking a thumb at Izuku, Bakugo said, "Deku's step-dad don't work for All Might, Deku's step-dad IS All Might!"

"So my earlier theory was partly correct," Todoroki said as Izuku shrunk down a bit out of embarrassment, "You are All Might's child, Midoriya. Granted you turned out to be his step-child and not a love child, but still."

Pointing at Izuku, Mina said, "Whoa, Midoriya! Your dad is All Might?! You're gonna get so popular at school now!" Looking to see the shocked look of worried heartbreak on Tsuyu's face, Mina said, "And why do you look so upset, you tattletale?"

"Hey, watch it with that, Ashido!" Tokoyami snapped, "Asui and Uraraka had every right to do what they did! It was for your own safety and the safety of the other girls who snuck off with you, after all!" Simmering down a bit, Tokoyami went on, "As... as for why Asui is upset, she saw something on the live news report just now. It was only for a second before the villains fled into that portal, but it lasted long enough for Asui to get a good look."

Izuku turned to look at Tsuyu. "Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask about that. What did you see, Asui?"

Sniffling a bit, Tsuyu said, "I... I saw Usagi when she wasn't transformed to be big or have steel skin. I saw her as that masked fellow with the long hair and strong body held her in his arms. I... I saw what Usagi looks like and... and... and..." The frog girl of Class 1-A shuddered a bit, trying to hold back her emotions. However, she could not, and as such Tsuyu fell to her knees as she covered her face with her hands, crying at full force as she spilled how she felt, spilled what she saw that all at once has her worried and is breaking her heart.

"Usagi is my little sister Satsuki!"

The day following the Battle of Kamino Ward, things were going to hell in a hand-basket for hero society in Japan. Technically, the heroes succeeded in their mission to rescue Momo Yaoyorozu, and the heroes were even able to vanquish the overall boss of the villains. As a side-note, Toshinori personally saw to the utter cremation of what remains of All For One there were. This was something he remembered doing in the alternate timeline, and it's something he had fully intended on doing here in the current timeline.

Additionally, the remaining villains at the Battle of Kamino Ward all fled, especially after All Might was able to defeat the giant villain that Dabi had unleashed. This gave the impression that the heroes had the villains on the ropes, and it was the angle that the HPSC was trying to push. However, the morning following the Battle of Kamino Ward saw a number of revelations that would rock how things went in Japan, and would shape the way that events would be played out for the foreseeable future as the heroes struggled to keep up.

Firstly, Ragdoll of the Wild, Wild Pussycats was slain during the Battle of Kamino Ward, as was Best Jeanist who was one of the top ranked heroes in Japan at the time. Pixie-Bob when she work up in a hospital learned that she was the only member of her team still alive. That, combined with how she was recovering after her inability to feel her quirk within her was treated, made her feel utterly terrible. She could feel her quirk again thanks to treatment from a certain special little girl, but Pixie-Bob still felt a sort of vast emptiness within her.

To make matters worse, evidence gathered suggested that both Ragdoll and Best Jeanist were killed not by villains, but rather by Endeavor's brazen recklessness in fighting the villains at the Battle of Kamino Ward. What made things worse for the Flame Hero was how the news crews caught the accusations thrown at him during the Battle of Kamino Ward, and those accusations went nation wide on live national television. This prompted the Japanese government to investigate things, deciding that the HPSC could no longer be trusted on the matter.

The investigation against Endeavor, backed by evidence submitted by several pro heroes including Eraserhead, Ingenium, and Gran Torino, confirmed what all Endeavor had done. Said evidence ALSO blew the whistle against the HPSC, and the Japanese government, one of the few bodies of power who can trump the body of power that ran Japanese hero society, launched a VERY thorough investigation into the HPSC. Said investigation uncovered ALL of the HPSC's less than tolerable activities, it brought all of the HPSC's dirty laundry out to be hung.

The threats that the HPSC made against those threatening to expose them were now moot as a greater power not only came down on the HPSC but also granted their protection to the whistle blowers; it would be reported that Eraserhead, Ingenium, and Gran Torino were even treated to an elaborate fancy dinner by the Japanese royal family. By the time that the Japanese government were done, less than ten percent of the original HPSC members were NOT arrested, and the remainder of the HPSC was kept on a tight leash under the ever vigilant eyes of the government.

As for the Flame Hero, with all of his wrongdoing, both recent and old, having been exposed, he ended up being stripped of his hero status. Endeavor lost his position, his licence, what all he had gained and cultivated in his never-ending quest to surpass All Might. A goal that, having been stripped of everything, was now going to be an impossible task. Endeavor's agency was even shut down, and those who were working for Endeavor had to find work elsewhere, although the many sidekicks who had worked for Endeavor reportedly had trouble finding work due to their history of working for and under the now disgraced Flame Hero.

The government even tried to move in to arrest Endeavor as part of the investigation they were launching into him. But the former pro hero, now stripped of everything he had worked so hard for to cultivate over the years, went berserk and unleashed a massive burst of fire when the force that had been sent in to arrest him had tried to arrest him. Endeavor escaped afterwards and is now currently on the run. Six of the police officers that were part of the force sent to arrest the former pro hero were killed when Endeavor blasted out as much power as possible in his escape.

The government of Japan issued a formal apology to the Japanese people, taking responsibility for having let the HPSC go as far as they did, as well as vowing to track down the disgraced Flame Hero and bring him to justice. The people of Japan, although feeling better that their government was owning up and vowing to try and clean things up, were still worried about their future. Because the events of the Battle of Kamino Ward, as well as events that followed, were a sign that Japan was going to be struggling for quite some time yet.

The Battle of Kamino Ward saw several pro heroes die; Ragdoll and Best Jeanist to the recklessness of Endeavor, and Crust, Yoroi Musha, and Wash were all slain by the villain Spinner during the fighting. Additionally, All Might had to retire after the Battle of Kamino Ward, and Endeavor after his wrongdoing was exposed and his hero status stripped from him went on the run. Endeavor technically also went villain, as he killed multiple police officers with his quirk in his escape and subsequent going on the run. Japan had lost several heroes, many of them the best Japan had at the time.

But one had to step down and retire, another was stripped of his status and became a villain afterwards, and the others had all been slain. Japan was facing one of its most troubling times yet. It will take the heroism of all those still on the side of justice, it will take all of them giving it their all as they fight the good fight, just for the side of good to triumph in the end. But Toshinori, who had retired from pro heroism after using up the last of his power, worried that even what all the heroes of Japan had right now may not be enough.

The (now once again) former Symbol of Peace feared that he didn't do enough to prevent the bad future of the alternate timeline.

...

For the safety of the students, UA began implementing a dorm system where the students will live on campus in dorm buildings. Within the safety of UA's walls, the students will be safe from further villain attack. The teachers and staff of UA did home visits where the homeroom teachers visited the students, although for Toshinori as his identity as All Might had been exposed, he just had to talk things over with Inko. Although understanding that her husband had to hide certain things due to his work that she now knew he did, Inko still wasn't happy to learn her husband had been risking himself, and as much as he had.

Still, with Toshinori now retired, he wasn't going to be risking himself anymore. That, combined with how she could trust Toshinori with Izuku, made Inko feel that her baby boy could still continue to go to UA. It also helped that Izuku hadn't really hurt himself and, the training camp attack aside, the heroes had always been able to keep Izuku and his peers safe from villain attack. The training camp attack was something that caught everyone off guard, even Toshinori who still had memories of the alternate timeline and thought that his precautions here in the current timeline would be sufficient to prevent Dabi from netting any wins.

There was also a development in Izuku's growth that caught Toshinori off guard; Izuku had suddenly developed both a black energy tendril power and a floating power, the latter of the two reminding Toshinori a lot of his late mentor, Nana Shimura. Izuku woke up in the hospital using those powers and was able to will them to settle down. Izuku also told Toshinori about a dream he had, how it reminded him of when he was temporarily brainwashed by Shinso during the Sports Festival and saw the shades that he saw in his dream before waking up at the hospital. This had NEVER occurred in the alternate timeline, and Toshinori was going to look into it.

Izuku also told Toshinori about how he and his peers saw the live news report of the Battle of Kamino Ward, and how his classmate Tsuyu saw a brief glimpse of Usagi the Rabbit-Earred Giantess without Steel or Gigantification active, saw she was a little girl being held in Rappa's arms before the villains all flew into the portal. Usagi was seen un-transformed for only the briefest of moments, but it was enough for Tsuyu to see and identify Usagi as her currently missing little sister Satsuki. This came as a shock to Toshinori, and not (just) because he learned that he had just struck a little child.

Testimony from Yaoyorozu further backed the theory that Usagi is a young child, and when word of that reached the UA staff as they discussed security arrangements for the students, many of them were floored. None of them expected that the Rabbit-Earred Giantess would turn out to be Tsuyu's little sister, not even Toshinori who in the alternate timeline was never able to learn the identities of Usagi or the other ultimate bodyguard that Dabi had. But here, they were able to learn that Usagi is Satsuki, and Toshinori attributed that to the fact that here in the current timeline, Tsuyu hadn't died.

Toshinori also felt his heart breaking over how a child so young could fall into villainy; he strongly suspected that Satsuki Asui was just that upset with how her parents were killed in that traffic accident on the highway on the way to UA on the day of the USJ attack. An accident that Toshinori and Japan at large were now well aware was solely the fault of the now villainous Endeavor who at the time was a hero who went at the villain he was chasing FAR too recklessly. No doubt the now late All For One had a very easy time tempting and manipulating an upset and emotionally vulnerable young child such as Satsuki, not to mention pumping her with as many quirks as he was able to put into her.

Toshinori was also there when Nezu called Tsuyu in to ask her a few questions; Aizawa, Sekijiro, Hizashi, and Hound Dog were also present. All that Tsuyu was able to offer was what all she had already said on the matter, so no new info was gotten there. Toshinori did, however, get some more new info, although at the moment it was just speculation; he told Tsuyu that he had some intel thanks to investigative efforts that Dabi has TWO ultimate bodyguards, with Usagi aka Satsuki being one of them. Additionally, when Toshinori had tried pressing the villains for details about Dabi's second ultimate bodyguard, Usagi had identified said second ultimate bodyguard as 'big brother'.

Tsuyu's eyes widened as heartbreaking horror dawned on her. "...Satsuki must be talking about Samidare. He's our brother kero, the middle child of our family being younger than me and older than Satsuki."

Nezu nodded once in thanks, then sent Tsuyu out to go meet with her classmates; Aizawa told Tsuyu that he'll speak to all of them when he catches up to them after a quick meeting. After Tsuyu was gone, Aizawa let out a tired sigh. "...Well shit. We just learned that the guy leading the villains now has a big ultimate bodyguard, that said bodyguard is Asui's currently missing little sister, and that not only does Dabi have a second ultimate bodyguard but it's suspected said bodyguard is Asui's other little sibling who's missing."

Toshnori nodded once in affirmation. "Indeed. And from what intel I was able to gather, even Usagi can't hold a candle to Dabi's second ultimate bodyguard. He's simply that vastly more powerful than Usagi."

"He's vastly more powerful," Sekijiro said in a dry, sarcastic tone, "Well that doesn't fill me with confidence."

Gesturing to Toshinori, Hizashi said, "I find that hard to believe. I mean, seriously All Might! Who can be more of a threat than Usagi the Rabbit-Earred Giantess?" Toshinori let out a resigned sigh, calmed his nerves as he spoke a name that the others in the room will ingrain into their memories. It was a name he heard back in the alternate timeline, a name he dreaded to hear in the current timeline here even more than that of Usagi's. But as his being here in the current timeline has just been confirmed, the former Symbol of Peace figured that hero society ought to start prepping for both Usagi and him, Dabi's other ultimate bodyguard.

"Felgrand the Dragon of Destruction."

END, CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Author's notes;

This chapter finishes up the Battle of Kamino Ward, where a number of heroes are slain before the villains pull back after All Might uses up the last of his power to knock out Usagi. However, the heroes are later able to get it that Tsuyu, who saw things on TV, was able to visually identify Usagi (who was un-transformed) as her currently missing little sister Satsuki. Things fall out from there, such as all of Endeavor's dirty laundry being put out, as well as all of the dirty laundry of the HPSC. The HPSC ends up getting beaten down by the government, all of the wrong-doers are rooted out and punished, and the government essentially takes over things there. They also try arresting Endeavor, but he escapes and goes on the run, turning villain as a result. This will have a notable impact on the story from this point moving forward.

Something else also having a notable impact on the story is the students moving onto campus as part of the dorm system. Toshinori, Nezu, and the UA teachers who were at the training camp talk with Tsuyu and ask her a few questions since they were able to identify Usagi as Satsuki. Toshinori also is able to get speculation going that Tsuyu's other missing little sibling, her little brother Samidare, is Dabi's other ultimate bodyguard, who the former Symbol of Peace identifies to the other men in the room as Felgrand the Dragon of Destruction. The heroes will have a lot on their plates in the chapters to come, as they have to get the students ready for the provisional licence exams, an event in the alternate timeline that fully ended the alternate timeline's version of Class 1-A. It'll be of great importance to Toshinori.
