Chun Li, Ryu, and Cammy arrived in Thailand and immediately made arrangements to find Sagat's village. Chun Li had said very little to say to Ryu, she was on edge thinking about seeing Sagat. Cammy had tried to help calm her nerves, but nothing worked. Ryu understood Chun Li's feelings but knew he needed to challenge the muay thai champion. As they passed through the countryside on the train, Chun Li couldn't help but notice the beauty of the land. She enjoyed looking out the window watching the passing greenery and overlooking the ocean. It brought comfort to her.

While Chun Li looked out the window, Ryu and Cammy sat on the opposite side of their private cabin. "Think she'll ever speak to me again?" Ryu leaned over to Cammy.

"Sooner or later. You know this is really hard for her," Cammy replied. "She's got to battle those inner demons."

"That's what I'm afraid of. I hope I made the right decision coming here," he said.

"You and I both know Sagat is one of the best people to challenge, as much as I hate to admit it. Chun Li knows it too. She wouldn't be here if she didn't," Cammy explained. Ryu sighed, sat back, and looked over at his wife. She looked so statuesque sitting near the window. He wanted to call to her and hug her to let her know everything would be alright, but he knew better than to bother her when she's brooding.

Hours later, the three fighters arrived at their stop. They got their things and headed off the train. Waiting for them was the mighty Sagat. He looked very tall and ominous. Chun Li's anger began to fill her thoughts. On the train ride she had decided she wouldn't speak to Sagat unless she had to, but seeing him in person made her want to change her mind. She had a million things to say to him. She kept her distance as Ryu and Cammy went up to him.

"Sagat..."Ryu said standing tall. He wasn't sure the reaction he would get. There was a moment of silence. Sagat quickly put his palms together with his fingertips touching his nose. He bowed his head.

"Ryu, I humbly ask for your forgiveness," Sagat said. "I have acted unfavorably for many years, poisoning by the syndicate I allowed myself to be near." He continued with his apology. Ryu stuck his hand out for a handshake. Sagat paused. He looked at Ryu in confusion. "But, how could you forgive so easily?" He asked.

"I can tell you are being sincere. If a person truly wants forgiveness then who am I to judge," Ryu said with a smile. Sagat took Ryu's hand.

"I am humbled." Sagat fondly remembered many years ago the young Ryu he had met. He turned to Cammy. "Cammy White. I am surprised to see you here."

"I'm not here for a sweet reunion. I have questions I want to ask you," Cammy said firmly. Sagat looked over Cammy and Ryu and saw Chun Li standing some distance behind.

"Is she with you?" he asked wondering why she was so far. "Is that Chun Li?"

"Yes, but..." Ryu started to say but Sagat began walking toward Chun Li. "I wouldn't do that," Ryu forewarned.

"Don't you dare come any closer!" Chun Li warned.

"And why is that?" Sagat asked.

"You should be rotting in jail. You were Bison's number one man. You killed innocent people. You...You..." Chun Li was beyond reason. She wanted to attack him with every move she knew. Her fists began to glow light blue.

"You know nothing about me!" he protested. "But if it makes you feel better, I'll give you the first hit!"

"What more is there to know from a villain like you!" Chun Li yelled. She ran to attack.

"Well, that escalated quickly, "Cammy said to Ryu. Ryu shook his head. They backed away from the ongoing fight.

Chun Li kept running toward Sagat and released a powerful energy sphere. He crossed his two hands in front of his face and braced for the impact. He slowly began to chuckle. "Is that all you've got?" he asked. The statement made Chun Li even angrier. She went on the offence again. Fast as lightning she attacked again, trying to punch and kick wherever she could. She knew one hit from Sagat's powerful legs would do a great deal of damage.

"Aren't you going to do anything, Ryu?" Cammy asked. Ryu shook his head no.

"If I try to break up this fight, Chun Li will hurt me more than she will Sagat. No way!" he replied.

The brawl continued on and the two fighters were tiring out, but Chun Li was determined not to give up. She kept attacking until finally Sagat was able to get some space between himself and Chun Li. As another round was about to begin, an elderly woman humbly dressed call out to Sagat. They stopped their fight and he ran over to her.

"Mother, please go back to the house!" he pleaded in his native language. Chun Li, Ryu, and Cammy all looked to Sagat wondering who the woman was. The woman walked up to Chun Li and pleaded with her to stop the fight. It caught Chun Li off guard, she didn't know how to respond except to put her fists down. She then put the pieces together.

"This is your mother, isn't it?" Chun Li asked.

"Yes, she meddles in my affairs these days," Sagat explained.

"Please, no more fight," his mother said in English. "Sagat is a good man. Please forgive my son for what he's done to you!" She bowed to Chun Li. Ryu and Cammy walked up.

"I must escort my mother back to her house. Please, follow me and I can show you where you'll be staying," Sagat motioned for the three fighters to follow him. Chun Li was reluctant but she agreed. This isn't finished, she thought.

Once they got settled in, Sagat offered to show them around. As they walked through the village, many of the villagers happily greeted Sagat. They revered him.

"What is with these people? Don't they know what Sagat has done?" Cammy whispered to Chun Li.

"I don't understand," Chun Li replied. As they continued walking, they passed a poor woman with 2 children. Sagat said something to them in Thai and gave the mother money. They made their way back to the house.

"I'm sure you three are wondering why I had you come with me through the village," Sagat said. "Allow me to explain...this village...my village, we were once very poor. Many were starving, living off the streets, there was no clean water, and our crops were dying. My mother was sick and the only thing I could do to bring in money was muay thai fighting. Pretty soon I was rising to the top as a champion and one day a foreign man came to talk to me about me going professional. Back then I was all for it and I finally was able to have all my dreams materialize as a professional fighter, along with the money I could give to my mother and to my village. I kept winning and soon enough I had caught the attention on M. Bison. Had I known what the coming years would bring, I never would have joined him. Then came the day I crossed paths with the mighty Ryu. You kicked my ass and knocked me off my high horse, leaving me with this scar on my chest. It was then I asked Bison to help me get a rematch with you. He told me to do a few jobs for him and then he'd get me the chance. But alas, you could never be found, and by the time I was ready to leave to come back home, Bison threatened to kill my mother if I left Shadowlaw. What else was I to do? So, I continued to be Bison's body guard, he kept paying me, my mother stayed safe, and I was able to fund many things for my village. It wasn't until the battle on the airfield, where Bison disappeared that I felt my time with Shadowlaw was finally over." Sagat turned to Chun Li and bowed to her. "Chun Li, please accept my sincerest apologies for the way I handled you that day. You were with child and as I understand Ryu, you were the father?"

"Yes, we were going to have a boy," Ryu said.

"Going to? Oh my...I see," Sagat realized what happened to the baby.

"Yes, our child died because of that monster!" Chun Li said with anger.

"I am truly sorry for that," he replied.

"Sagat, that's why I'm here," Cammy chimed in. "Do you remember me ever being pregnant?

"Are you sure you want to go down this road?" he asked.

What does that mean?" Cammy asked with interest. "Of course I want to know!"

"Alright...yes, you were pregnant...with Bison's child." The three fighters gasped.

"So it is true!" Cammy felt weak. Quickly, Chun Li got her a chair to sit in. Sagat got a glass of water and handed it to Cammy.

"Bison was after the children?" Ryu asked.

"Yes, he wanted to make an army of super kids made from the DNA of the strongest fighters on the world. Which peaked his interest in your child. It's all he talked about for a while, the child of the famous Ryu and Chun Li.

"So, I have a child out there? Somewhere in the world?" Tears began to fall down Cammy's cheeks. "Where is this child?"

"I'm sorry, but I don't know the answer to that," Sagat wished he could help. "Bison sent the kids all over to be highly trained. The only thing I know is that he sent what he considered the most important children to a top secret location. I don't know anything else."

Chun Li tried her best to comfort Cammy. "How did I become pregnant by him?" Cammy asked.

"Not in the traditional sense, if that's what your asking. Bison didn't care about things like that. He wanted to keep his dolls pristine."

"You'll have to excuse me. I need to go to my room," Cammy left.

"I'm going after her. She shouldn't be alone," Chun Li left as well. Ryu and Sagat were left to chat amongst themselves.

"In your letter you left Dhalsim, you mentioned a way to help me?" Ryu inquired.

"Yes, I believe I can help you overcome the power of the dark hadou by helping you learn the power of nothingness," Sagat explained.

"The power of nothingness. I started with Dhalsim but reached a plateau, I am in need of new teachings," Ryu said.

"I'll train you on one condition," he said.

"What's that?" Ryu wondered.

"One day, we'll have a rematch." Sagat held out his hand.

Ryu smiled and said, "I thought you'd never ask!" He held out his hand to shake Sagat's in agreement.
