This is not as much a fanfic as advertising of a great movie, "Edge of Tomorrow" And it's beautiful because, like "Pacific Rim", and "Inception" earlier, it allows the heroes of any canon to get into their reality. The idea of the film is not new - "Groundhog Day" in a fantastic entourage, but it is served just fine))

Rita and Lee face their worst nightmare when Eli is kidnapped. When Dr. Carter shows up with a vial of Alpha's blood, Lee takes it this time, and he starts reliving the same day over again, leaving Rita to trust he's telling her everything when he resets. With Barney and the gang, they search for Eli, and they discover a terrifying plot that is linked to Eli's disappearance.

Since Eli was born, Lee and Rita haven't been the same. When Rita disappears, it's up to Lee and the Expendable Team to find her. They discover her disappearance is linked to William Cage, the man who helped end the Mimic War. Cage still has the ability to reset the day, and someone wants to use it. Will they find the villain and stop the unthinkable from happening in time?

Lee Christmas is living the simple life, and he thinks he's enjoying it. After fighting in the War, he just wants to spend his time fixing cars and loving his wife, Rita Vrataski. It all gets shattered when a young Expendable, John Smilee, shows up and tells him news that he never thought he'd hear: Barney's alive, and he's in trouble. Will they be able to save him?

When Rita gets Lee Christmas on her team, she doesn't know what to expect. Together, they battle in Verdun where Rita is inflicted with the Alpha's blood. Realizing her new power, Lee and Rita work to end the war of the Mimics, but as they get closer to each other, Rita realizes that it is possible to find love during a war.

When an alien force invades Earth, Bucky Barnes finds himself gifted the ability to reset time whenever he's killed. Working for S.H.I.E.L.D., Bucky is partnered with Natalia Romanova and sent out to find the centre of the invasion and destroy it, using his special ability to better their chances of success. Oneshot: Jack dreamt. Often, he would dream of a woman at the Empire State Building, one who seemed familiar for some reason. But one time he dreamt of something...else. Still had the role of "unknown female" in it though. Strange considering that Victoria was sleeping right beside him.
