Something wasn't right. If Rain had finally turned, if she was dead, then why was she still aware? Why could she see herself trying to dig her teeth into Matt's neck, desperate to tear open the flesh?

Rain already knew Alice's name before the whole mess began. Alice knew hers. Both of them were quite familiar with each other, actually. Well. More than familiar. They were close. They had something. Not that anyone would know.

It's been nearly a decade, and I still find myself thinking of you. Maybe in another life, fate was kinder to us. Maybe things didn't start and end here for both of us.

"What did they do to you?" Alice doesn't answer. Days go by and they don't dare leave the safe house. Sometimes, Jill watches Alice, and she starts to take note of the subtle changes in her behavior. Then, she starts to think about how she's going to try and breach the topic again.

Rain feared that her wife and daughter had died in the midst of all this chaos. Thankfully, that's not the case. They're perfectly fine. ...In fact, it seems Alice has even had the time to change her hair and clothes, find three burly guys with weapons, and grab some guns...

There is still a chance. The Red Queen wouldn't say it. She "didn't deal in chance", after all. But that didn't mean there wasn't one. They just need to get to the train and get the antivirus in time. Whether or not the antivirus would work at this point was up to debate, but overall, chances aren't looking too bad. That's what Alice keeps saying. Rain wishes she could believe her.

Alice has been on her own for years now. She felt it was a necessity. That doesn't mean she isn't a little sick of it, though. More than a little.

At this point, Alice comes close to dying on an almost daily basis. Some brushes are closer than others; occasionally, it's less of a "close brush" because she does die. She's used to it, though. That's not the hard part. "Just when I think there's no more shit left to hit the fan... you always find your way back here." It's coming back. "It's not so bad. I get to see you again."

Sequel to "Secrets & Flies" - After three months. Alice returns to the Arcadia, but something is different. An aerial attack by Umbrella ensues, bringing two renegades who plead for their help to end this War once and for all. The crew decides to go to Washington, where Alice is forced to choice between sacrificing herself or the others in order to save the world.

After escaping LA, and defeating Wesker, life aboard the Arcadia was not what most expected. Blooming romances, new alliances, and ghosts of past lives are just some surprises in store for Alice, Claire and their new crew while they continue to try to stay one step ahead of Umbrella.

Alice has been through a lot, and while reflecting upon what's brought her to where she is now, the people she's lost, and the monsters (human or not) she's killed, someone returns to show her there's more to Alice than a lean, mean, zombie killing machine.

The camera swivels overhead, settling on them with that steady light that means the Queen is watching. Dolores watches it back, thoughts spinning dizzily and a voice echoing in her head. It's not her own, but it's part of her, something buried deep down like a line of code in a computer program. "We're all going to die down here."
