What if the Prince had overheard Cinderella's conversation with the Lord Chamberlain?

Sarah is eight years old when she goes to work in the kitchen of the palace of Euphrania. Although she is content with her station, she sometimes dreams of the royalty on the other side of the kitchen walls. And then, one day, she meets a princess in disguise... and her whole life changes. Sequel to I Can't Forget the Melody.

Unable to find Cinderella, Prince Edward falls ill from despair. A royal proclamation solicitating prayers for the dying prince allows his plight to reach Cinderella's ears and may allow a miracle to take place.

In the middle of the search for the Princess Incognita, Cinderella sings about secret kingdoms, and is overheard by people who believe that she is committing treason against the King.
