This Heartland story details the life and times of the Borden Family, Starting, 12 years after they are married. Amy and Ty have 5 kids, a ranch and a growing family business. Mainly focused on this amazing couple, you will also experience the active lives of their family. ENJOY the ride! For those who have wanted a Mitch/Amy pairing, here is my imagining of that happening. The story picks up shortly after Season 16 Episode 1. I make references to Season 16, but my story does not strictly follow Heartland canon beyond the first episode and takes an alternate storyline. All characters, other than a very few I've added, belong to CBC and Heartland TV series.

This is an "AU" which starts about 8 years after Season 8 Episode 8. Amy drops Ty off at his trailer after bailing him out and then leaves Heartland and Hudson. They never make it to Pike River.

After their break-up following her return from the European Tour, Amy and Ty reconcile briefly only to be torn apart, seemingly for good. Each moves on with their own life, they lose touch. Years pass. A chance meeting, in this Small World, may change all that.

AU: Amy is kidnapped by Jesse and when she returns she must get used to life at the ranch after being gone for over a year. She is starting to get used to things with the help of the new ranch hand Ty and her family.
