Colonel William Tell Sackett after taking over command of SG-25 from Colonel Peter Ludlow experiences something similar to what happened to SG-1 in 1969 and Col. O'Neill and Capt. Carter in Solitudes, but without hippies and lots of ice. He comes face to face with his namesake and ancestor. Without harming the timeline he has to help Tell find the murderer of Tell's wife Ange.

Jubal Sackett is faced with a seemingly impossible task. He must "find them" who ever them is, as he was told to do nearly a year ago in a secret cave. Morthec Gruan, The King of the Dead, from LoTR, shows up to help Jubal figure out a long forgotten mystery which will take Sackett waaay out of his comfort zone, even to Middle Earth.
