Magnus contemplates on what love is, he remembers past lovers, and his now relationship with Alec. Dating has been compared to a game, a sport, a hunt, a dance, and it is all of things most of the time. This time, it was more like skydiving without a parachute.

Alec can tell that something is bothering his husband. What this something is... well, he doesn't know yet. However, he will make sure to figure that out.
