The end of the Dream Traveler is near... Seven years after his last rough departure, Klonoa is sent back to a rather familiar world. Together with his newly met buddy Kio, they set out to uncover the mysteries of his strange returnal, and to get rid of the ultimate nightmare that has been the cause of almost everything up to now, once and for all.

Following the events of "That's the Pain of a Hero", Klonoa takes up Guntz's offer to go on a few jobs with him, desperately hoping his mood will improve as a result. Post Klonoa Heroes: Legendary Star Medal, Guntz suddenly felt guilty and regret for what he did to Klonoa in the past, from underestimating him as a hero, tricking him as bait, and always threat him in such a rude way. So he finally decided to visit Klonoa after such a long time, hoping that he will forgive all of his faults and try to become a better person.

When he awakens in a unknown but somehow familiar world, he comes across a tower in the distance. Through hardship and turmoil, he may finally get his answer and more.

The first entry in the "Soul of the Wind" alternate universe, with Lux Klonoa, a fanon super form for Klonoa, as the central focus. After a seemingly long and lucid dream adventure in Phantomile, Klonoa wakes up only to discover that a great destiny is ahead of him as the Dream Traveler and as the vanquisher of darkness known only as the Dreamer of Light.

It's hard to be so alone, being King of a kingdom that was forgotten, neglected, lonely, just mere ruins. And as usual, the King starts to wonder about the fate of him, and his kingdom. Was there a way to change things?
