Just what I need today. Hondo thinks to himself and contemplates just going back on vacation. Hicks was in meetings all day, trying to fight the appointment of Lynch to SWAT. But it didn't look good. And having that woman here meant for sure Jessica Cortez wasn't coming back. AU After Season 2 obviously.

Alternate version of SWAT Season 6. After a routine SWAT call, Hondo and the team come back to SWAT HQ to find that an old enemy has resurfaced. Hondo is ready for a rematch, but finds his team will not be working alone. Watch as 20-David squad works with an elite unit to bring down a dangerous criminal for the second time.

So I'm a bit late to the S.W.A.T party and I'm only half way through watching season two, but I saw a short clip of Street and Chris at the end of season 3, and couldn't get it out of my head. I have no idea what is going on in the season, let alone the episode, but I've used my own take on Chris getting shot in the corridor and what could happen next. Of course it's a Stris story.

Street's hands are shaking like no other but he doesn't look down at them and keeps his focus on the empty seat in Black Betty normally occupied by Chris. He refuses to believe they're too late. A rescue mission and the aftermath. Stris. Mild mentions of blood, showering together. Set anytime from mid-season 4 onward.

His thoughts travel back to her. They always seem to. He's mulling over how she's doing when he's surprised by her standing on his front porch. Chris doesn't know where else to go the night after Erika's death, so she ends up at Street's door. Post 4x08, hurt/comfort, grief/angst, and tenderness. Jim/Chris, not explicitly romantic.

Whatever this thing is between her and Street is just that, a thing. An amorphous, ever-present Thing that is going to turn into Something at Some Point. And she has no idea what she's going to do when it does. Or, Street helps take care of Chris after they get back from Langford. Post 5x09, mentions of the hospital/injuries. Chris/Street with Chris & Deac friendship.

Gunshots ring out from the desert beyond as indistinct shouts float through the window, but she can't hear any of it over the blood rushing through her own ears. And then, "I'll stay on the phone until you fall asleep." AU ending for 5x09 "Survive." Descriptions of injury/hospital, nothing overtly graphic. Light Stris/team as family.

"The pain is as immediate as the loss of control Chris feels over her own body." Post 1x19 "Source." Chris gets hit with the VX and in the following days her and the team recover. Team as family, slight angst, and a graphic description of the poison/brief scene in the hospital. Slight early-relationship Stris.

The article about her was coming out tomorrow, and Chris knew she needed to tell the team what happened to her first. Post 3x14 "Animus". cw: mentions of past sexual assault (not discussed in any more detail than on the show)

A series of one-shots following Chris and Street through each episode as their relationship progresses from partners in the field, to partners in every aspect. Each chapter will be Street's POV, and a second fic will be posted for Chris.

After the events of Happier, Chris leaves for Germany with Billie in tow. Now three months later, she has to figure out, again, what is important to her and how her life is affected by those around her.

When Chris bossed Street into fulfilling the locker-letter tradition by making him address the thing to her, she didn't know what to expect. Nor ever considered she would have to read it. Now that she has to, it will shake her world. Street's handwriting might fade from the paper, but Chris's feelings will never fade from her heart. He was and always will be important to her.
