The phone slipped out of Massie's hand. Her iPhone landed face down on the shag white rug beneath her feet, just barely making out the muffled sounds she had made no less than an hour and a half ago. Her stomach clenched with anxiety at the realization; her skin suddenly felt hot and itchy and her fingers twitching at her sides. Derrick had set her up. Massie Block was furious.
