Link finally gets a day off only to be bored so he goes and finds Zelda. Zelda doesn't know how to take a day off so is still working and gives Link an instrument to learn, the two at random picking up a harp from a nearby merchant. As Link is plucking along, he gets teleported back a bit more than a hundred years and now must get home before he messes with his past.

After defeating the Calamity and reliving the harsh realities of their past thanks to Maz Koshia and his trials through the Champions Ballad, Zelda demands that Link returns to their home in Hateno to rest their minds and bodies. Though Link reluctantly agrees, he can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. This is a sequel to Couple of the Wild(Zelink) and will reference it.

Spoilers for TOTK Hyrule was saved, and evil was defeated. But Zelda was lost to the skies, unable to return to her beloved knight. What will the sages do when their hero wants nothing more than to disappear? She had told him to protect them all yet she was the only thing in his mind as he ran from all who cared about him.

When a strange turn of events leaves Zelda stranded in a monster-infested wilderness with only a lone Sheikah scout and a farm girl with a hero complex to aid her, as well as a mysterious one-eyed beast after her blood, she must find her strength and brave a dangerous journey to return to Hyrule before the peaceful kingdom she's destined to rule falls to the ambitious of a tyrant.

Zelda tells Link that she loves him - and asks him to say it to her. The young warrior has never been much of a talker, not even to the very person who is more important to him than anyone else, but she clearly wants to hear it from him. Will he be convinced to use his rarely-used voice to say it to the princess?

So. I got reborn with a special power, that's neat. The giant purple miasma is a little annoying, but I guess, as this world's chosen one with a talking blade I'll kill it later. The Shrine of Resurrection bugged out slightly and restored a previous configuration for the Hero, thus ending up with BotW Link (complete with amnesia) but as a wolf. Naturally this presents all kinds of accessibility challenges.

Two students at the Knight Academy take part in a traditional graduation ceremony, utterly unaware that the events of centuries ago echo and reflect upon this very day. The battle the goddess could not win so long ago must now be fought again, only this time with her powers renewed and her chosen sword reforged to an unstoppably keen edge. [Retelling. After the Upheaval, things begin to return to normal for the princess and her appointed knight. Link knows he doesn't want normal, but as the pair have already fallen back into their old routine, it seems the moment has already passed. Something not visible to the naked eye might just provide him with another chance to make his feelings known. (Spoilers for post-TotK.)
