Dean and Castiel work a normal case in an abnormal town called Night Vale. They find a couple that reminds them that they in fact do have a profound bond, and that they need to use that to survive this deadly town.

Amidst their confusion, they discover that several citizens of the town had a history with the Winchesters' father, and they're out for revenge.
