Since his recruitment by SHIELD, the past few months have helped Matt Garretty, the youngest Avenger, to adjust to his new life. But his scars are still there, and Loki's attack on New York didn't make him any better. Luckily, Bruce Banner (aka the Hulk) knows what its like to have your life changed after getting powers, and he's willing to give the young superhero a little advice.

The "Seattle Incident" has gotten the attention of various government agencies, including SHIELD. Agent Phil Coulson is sent to investigate and meets the scared Matthew Garetty in the process. Over lunch, Coulson learns the truth about what caused the Seattle Incident, along with who the two enhanced boys were. He also offers Matthew something he desperately wants: a second chance.

Matt Garrety is still struggling to find the truth about his powers after the deaths of Steve and Andrew. Nick Fury wants to know the truth, as well, so why not kill two birds with one stone and have Matt join the team. But sometimes, the truth should remain hidden.
