Melinda May and Tony Stark have known each other since Melinda was three years old and Tony was two months old because Howard Stark and Lian May are old friends. They were raised together, the best of friends, always looking out for one another. Looking at their relationship at different times in their lives a lot of things have changed, but the most basic thing hasn't. AU-kind of.

Just something that popped into my head one day, thinking about if the Avengers found out Phil was alive. (Avengers/Agents of SHIELD one-shot; slight use of strong language at the end, no suitable for some kids, I guess).

Phil was married to Clint. However the methods Fury used to bring him back after the Battle of New York meant he forgot that minor detail.
