Missing scene for Nihilism: Locking Michael up in Dean's head is just the beginning of Sam getting his brother back.

Dean is raising a teenage Sam with Castiel's help. Cas has very strict ideas on how a family should be run and Sam is full of teenage attitude. Dean is stuck in the middle. Contains consensual spanking of an adult during sex, but no spanking as punishment.

Even at Adam's age, Sam was already thinking about college—talking to guidance counselors and sneaking off to the library after school, taking notes on the universities he researched in spiral notebooks he thought John didn't notice. Sam runs into some hunters he'd hoped to never see again, especially since they know about Sam's previous addiction to demon blood. Dean learns the history behind the animosity and picks up the pieces, taking care of Sam in the process. Set during 12x06 but references events from 5x03.

This is an alternate version of the beginning of season 8 where Sam goes to Purgatory to rescue Dean and ends up getting hurt in the process. Please let me know if you like it. Reviews and constructive criticism are both welcomed and encouraged.

A 4x22 AU. Sam doesn't kill Lillith as he figures out that Lillith is the final seal. Niw the tension between Sam and Dean is still there because Sam trusted ruby over Dean but a little incident makes Dean prioritize what matters the most

Dean's always felt guilty over things out of his control but the Shtriga had been completely within his control and he let those kids get hurt just like Sam all those years ago. Sam's concerned but Dean's good at deflecting and smiling and saying everything's ok even when things aren't. (season 1)

So this will be a series of short stories. The show could only wrap up so many of the loose ends and these chapters will be my attempt to answer some of the questions I had. Each chapter will be self contained and not every character will be in each chapter.
