What if Hiccup left before he met Toothless and met the White Bewilderbeast and saw his mother for the first time? The Bewilderbeast sees potential and Hiccup and gives him some of his blood to claim him as heir. He goes exploring and meets Toothless(has both tail fins) and they become quick friends. I've seen quite a few AUs and decided to write my own. this book is mainly about what could have happened differently in the first movie. there will not be any pairings, however they will be joked about/made fun of. this not made to offend anyone so please don't take offense. mostly comedy and sadness in this story. if you don't like, don't read.

How did the Riders become so close? Snotlout remembers the day he finally understood their bond clear as day. It took him time, but he understood why they were so close and what, or rather who, held them together like glue.

In this series of one-shots, watch "deleted scenes" after Stoick answers Hiccup's question in Dragons Race to the Edge Season 1 Episode 11 "Have Dragon Will Travel Part 2."
