Set in Season 3, a few weeks after "The longest day", but supposing "True Love" hasn't happened yet. A few weeks after finding out about Joey and Pacey, Dawson is forced to work again with his former best friend for a project in school that will soon have unexpected consequences on their lives.

When Pacey kissed Joey on a spur of the moment impulse, he had not expected her to kiss him back, but to his great surprise, she seemed like she could not get enough of his kisses. He had not expected Dawson to be entirely okay with it either, but since he seems like he is cool with it too, why should he not see where this thing could take him?

While Joey and Pacey are on their sailing trip Dawson befriends the new beauty from LA who not only becomes his new best friend but, wins over all his friends as well. What will Pacey and Joey have to say when they come back? Maybe a jealous Joey? Even better a curious Pacey?

Pacey is still heartbroken after Joey chose Eddie over him and since what could be the chance of a lifetime has presented itself, even if it is in a far-away country way over in Europe, it s a chance he has to jump at, or he knows that he might regret it for the rest of his life.
