So, this is the story of how Dean and Castiel refused to let Sam jump into the cage, and how they managed to defeat Lucifer anyway. Mild Sastiel.

My take on Swan Song 5x22. AU where Sam said yes, the time period however is 18th century West and the point of view is an outsiders'. Dean has to stop the Devil from using Sam's body as a vessel. I listen to funny songs and this one just came to be because of it.

Set after 'Sex and Violence'. Sam's abilities are building up until one day, he realizes that he can read minds. What seems like a gift at first quickly turns into a nightmare as he faces what Dean really thinks about him. A dangerous hunt might show them some clarity or tear them apart for good as they have no choice but to trust each other to survive. Limp!Dean and Hurt!Sam

It was the maggots that got to Dean though. The repulsion on his face must have been obvious because the angel made a move as though to return to its cage. "I'll take him." The words slip through Dean's lips before he can fully comprehend what he is saying. The sudden spark of hope in the angel's eyes confirm the words though.

The dreaded topic we all try to avoid: The end of Supernatural. Was asked by a friend if I wanted to write a chapter in her "Collection Story" so I agreed and this is what I came up with. Warning: Character death. Disclaimer: I own nothing of Supernatural.

Alternative story after season 5: One year after Swan Song, Sam returns from the cage. He wakes up at the place where he fell into, but all of his memories, even the one of his life before, are erased. He only knows that's he's here to fulfill the orders of god: To save the world, by defeating Lucifer, since the cage's not gonna hold both, Michael and Lucifer.

Dean and Sam try to make it work, but after Heaven, it becomes clear to Dean that it would be best to separate. Sam decides to let Dean stop the apocalypse, while Sam takes on the Lucifer problem. After all, if Lucifer doesn't have a true vessel to take, he'll be that much easier to defeat. Sam goes off the grid, and not even Castiel can find him. Pairings: Sastiel
