Murderbot gets hit with a beam from some strange machine, and the next thing it knows, it's back on the original mission with the PresAux team, falling uncontrollably down the hill into the crater. Timelines, it turns out, are fragile things: every moment relies on the one that came before it, and now Murderbot is left to flounder as once familiar events spiral into chaos.

Murderbot agrees to collaborate with Dr. Mensah on a production of Hamlet for the Preservation festival. ART helps. It turns into a "growth experience" for Murderbot, which it doesn't particularly want.

Murderbot, other robots, and some augmented humans on Preservation are forced to quarentine after a new computer virus is released in an attempted attack on the Company, which unfortunately does more harm to people with Company augments than the coropration itself. Unfortunately, Preservation isn't the utopia it's cracked up to be, and Murderbot can't trust the medics to help.

Written for the 2023 Murderbot fandom challenge prompt, "escaped large animal loose on station". Told from the POV of a random OC because my brain just didn't want Murderbot to narrate this one lol. No spoilers because everything is made up completely.

The heart-warming story of failing to reform a rogue Combat SecUnit, who eventually stops killing people anyway because dealing with others nagging it about it all the time is just too fucking tedious to be endured. OR: Skulk has decided to kill everyone involved in its planetary government and it's up to the crack team of SecUnit, Ratthi, and Gurathin to stop it.

These are extra scenes and backstory for Skulk: A Rogue Combat SecUnit. They are helpful to understand the starting situation for Valid Targets: A Skulk Sequel.

Random short story with Murderbot on a panel to accept questions from humans on Preservation in order to help bots and constructs actually gain equal rights. Humans on Preservation, it turns out, are just as stupid as humans elsewhere.

A mid-20s Gurathin explores his sexual interests with a standard ComfortUnit. Even then, he wonders if there is more behind those eyes, or if he's just seeing what he wishes was there.

This is the intro scene of ASR, rewritten with Ratthi in the pit instead of Bharadwaj. This makes him the one bitten instead of her.

A man and a SecUnit are on a boring assignment watching industrial equipment for a few days. The man has an idea. The SecUnit is amenable to it. (No canon characters. Very vaguely dub-con.)

Perihelion sees one of its sibling ships and decides to show off in an elegant display.

SecUnit confronts Ratthi about a suspicious situation with one of Ratthi's partners, only to discover this isn't the first time it's confronted Ratthi about this.

Missing scene fic – the long, dark, scary period between SecUnit's collapse on the gunship, post-killware attack, and when it recovered consciousness on final approach to Preservation Station. Per canon, that would be at least fifteen cycles, because the nearest station to Preservation was fifteen cycles away. That's a long time to wait for your friend to open their eyes again.

After the events of NE, Amena suggests having a funeral observance for the recently lost members of their extended family. Murderbot suffers through the resulting emotional roller coaster.

Murderbot is deep in enemy territory at the end of a mission when the opposing side gets wise. The success of this mission depends on Murderbot maintaining its cover, so when the moment of truth arrives, it must do the impossible. It eats!

This is the story of a Combat SecUnit, from first assignment to last, to being reborn and not knowing what to do with its new life, to finding a home and a voice, to running across well-meaning people who almost ruin everything for it. Ratthi, SecUnit, and Three have minor appearances.

A company data analyst is assigned to find someone to blame for Murderbot going rogue. Doing so requires the company making connections between data points it had not previously made.

One of Dr. Mensah's children comes out to Murderbot as nonbinary, before telling anyone else.

Dry, factual, and straightforward, SecUnit sends a message to Dr. Bharadwaj for inclusion in her documentary, in answer to a question she'd asked about the treatment of SecUnits by clients. And Murderbot, the unreliable narrator it is, is seriously understating its emotions about all of this.

All I wanted was for construction to be completed so that I could be launched and begin researching. Unfortunately, human illogic tends to delay things, and they were the ones running the project.

The humans think Murderbot should take a leadership role in the growing construct community on Preservation Station. Murdurbot thinks this might be a mistake …
