E/O drabble challenge: toothbrush. Spoilers for mid season 8. Sam enjoys the bat cave

Sam and Dean are entering a house lurking with danger and oppurtunity. But at point they will need to make a choice between family and instinct. ONE SHOT ! note to readers i am now just getting back into writing again and when i reread this i realized how bad it was so I'm editing it.

Supernatural angel-strength. It was totally a thing. Dean had seen it firsthand, between Cas shoving an armoire in front of the bathroom door to keep Sammy locked in when they'd had to deal with famine, the way that Cas had beaten the hell out of him in that alleyway, and the way that he'd lifted the back end of the Imapala when they'd gotten stuck in some mud.

Dean and Cas go out on a hunt, but not for monsters.. For food. Along the way they have to fight off a few excitable women and Dean's impending grouchiness.

E/O Drabble Challenge Prompt word: toothbrush. Dean needs to "borrow" Sam's toothbrush. It makes for a handy little tool after all.

Castiel confesses his fear of Dean leaving to him, but his fear is hushed by Dean's gentle side. Rated T for mildly suggested adult themes.

I FINALLY FINISHED IT. The whole story will be uploaded soon. I'm still correcting a lot of errors. But here's the first part if you're curious. (I've changed it a lot in the meantime) The story is set in 2013, after The Winchesters have closed the gates of heaven and hell. Castiel has fallen, Adam has returned and Kevin tries to rebuild his life.

And the heart is hard to translate, it has a language of it's own. It talks in tongues and quiet sighs and prayers and proclamations. In the grand days of great men, and the smallest of gestures, in short shallow gasps. But with all my education; I can't seem to command it and the words are all escaping and coming back all damaged. I would put them back in poetry if I knew how.
