Cassidy Gaines, as the newest Green Lantern, is roped into an unauthorized mission with Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad, leading all four down a path to mayhem, super villain secret societies, and, of course, some romance too.

During training, Robin gets knocked back down and doesn't feel like getting back up. Stuff happens - like Wally being stupid and Connor issuing something that sounds suspiciously like a death threat - and Artemis realises just how weird everyone on the team really is, only proving she couldn't fit in better with any other group of people.

Robin gets injured on a mission, badly enough that Connor has to carry him - unconscious - into the cave. Wally warns the team for what's to come once Batman finds out his little bird is hurt - which Batman finds out pretty quickly, because well… world's greatest detective anyone?
