When an unusual death happens on board a new ocean liner in Southampton, Endeavour finds himself uncovering a link between the death and human testing being conducted by a silent killer in Oxford. In the race to stop these unusual deaths, more and more people become subjects as Morse tries to save someone close to him whose been caught up in the experiments.

I'm having a go at writing an Endeavour story. It's one of my favourite TV programmes, I love all the characters and I hope I will enjoy the challenge of bringing them to life in these pages. I have set my story somewhere in Series 5 though I have changed one or two things, so it is not 100% accurate in terms of the plotlines in that series. Hope you enjoy it and PLEASE REVIEW!

Morse's gaze softened as he reached up to brush back her hair. Her very reddish-browny-blonde hair, Jakes belatedly realised, the same shade as Morse's. In fact, looking at them both now, he could see more similarities. The rounded ear tips, the gentle shape of the mouth, the smattering of freckles across the nose and cheeks. She was, without any doubt, his. Morse had a daughter.
